2nd i have question to u,,,i see a youtube video
it shows windows 7,xp,95 and debian are running on nokia n900
How can it possible ?

jak , 05 Sep 2010can i use office document viewer from bangladesh ? not possible buying on line software from ... moreyou could install a app called openoffice
It works just like document to go and it's from nokia it's also free.

Dear Friends, for your kind information I have purchased my Nokia N900, and I want to install Good voice phone dialer for the same but its not installing the .sis extension file, can u please give me some information about installation of Good voice Phone dialer.

n900 launched in india dun hav skype,only the uk or usa version of N900 ll hav the Skype application....neither u can install frm anywhr, so dun wait for the wait, i bought my N900 frm usa, so i got skype.... sorry for othrs who buy frm india,

I want to buy Nokia N900..bt ther r few things tht r cauing confusions..
1.It doesn't support java as mentiones nd my purpose is to do the trading wid this mobile..so plz tel me whether it is poosible wid out java ..

2.Today i ws told tht this mobile gets hanged..is tht true? wat cud be the reasons? do many unncesary application cause this halt?

hey, i m in india. I have tried looking for skype option in VoIP and IMaccount, but all other stupid options are ther like yahoo, jodder, gtalk but, no skype.. I tried to download skype through my n900 default browser, but it did not work.. when i tried to download it from ovi store then it says "preinstalled" anyone plz help i m not able to download skype for my n900. my version is "10.2010.19-1.004".. thanks...

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2010hey can anybody tell me hw 2 make groups so that i can send sms at 1 go 2 many people..How to create Group on N900 :

first you will have to install EXTRAS-DEVEL and EXTRAS-TESTING



you can easily do the install by clicking on the two links above with your n900 browser. it will automatically install them for you.





then open your appmanager (blue clipboard looking icon)



install/download



then type "root" and install the rootsh app.





after that is done, you can do 1 of two things to get better familiar with your n900.



1. you can type "myc" and then crochick mycontacts will show up and you can install it then.



or...



2. to help you learn xterminal



open xterminal

sudo gainroot

apt-get install mycontacts



and it will install it faster.
