On PC viruses infect Windows, on cellfones viruses infect Symbian, coz those are the most widespread operating systems.
About the N900 FM Transmitter, its good enough signal i think. My problem is more with the audio quality, i didnt check it with an oscilloscope ofcors ehehe, but i can sense some clipping and high tones are lacking a bit. But worse than an El-Cheapo FM Transmitter? No...
The phone is cool, high-class, and every one would love to have.. its suitable for business person... Im upset battery wise coz its only 6-7 hours.. Not longer.. they should have higher better standby.. and Nokia phone is so easy to get virus while transfering things from one phone to the other .... :(

Anonymous, 02 May 2010No, HTC Desire doesn't have FM transmitter. Eventhough N900 has FM transmitter but the signal ... moreThis is NOT true because i have N900, and i don't have any problems. I sense that you want to make N900 look bad what so ever...find someone that is still in Elementary school...and stick to cheap things.
Demetrius, 02 May 2010Nokia N900 also has Radio . Does the HTC have FM Transmitter? No, HTC Desire doesn't have FM transmitter. Eventhough N900 has FM transmitter but the signal of transmitter is very weak and not every channel is working well. I do have a cheap car FM transmitter player with 8GB SD card and It's working a lot better than N900.
Demetrius, 02 May 2010Let's hope so my friend. More GB's = portability...more Windows 7 software to carry, movies , ... moreWindows 7? Whats that? Hehe. I use Debian on my PC, for many years now, and having a Debian based Linux in my fone felt kinda like crossing over to a higher level of existence, it was exalting you cud say.. =) Not in a religious way i may add LoL
So many things in Maemo5 that i knew/recognized from using Debian on PC, the "familiarity-factor" was off the scale from day one, it was like finding someone i loved all my life but had not yet met.

i installed YM, yahoo messenger, in my N900, i love it, go to this site to learn how: loading-station.com
Its a must have for all Filipino, and other yahoo fanatics. It integrates YM into "conversations", you can merge YM accounts into your adress book, and even see the YM online/offline status for the contacts you added to your home screen(s).
Demetrius, 02 May 2010Are you sure its going to be ok with the 32GB micro SD ?Im sure, i admit i read it in theInq, very unreliable source, but it makes sense, and not everyting on TheInq is pure lies.
On nokia.com it says "up to 16 GB* (current availability)".
We seen it before, units Nokia said were "up to 8GB" easily handled 16GB cards when they became available.
Anonymous, 02 May 2010HTC Desire does has Stereo FM radio with RDS.Nokia N900 also has Radio . Does the HTC have FM Transmitter?

Demetrius, 02 May 2010The built-in 32 GB storage is big enough to store up to 7,000 of your favourite songs or 40 ho... moreThe limit is 64GB, 32GB cards are already being shipped, expect them in a store near you within weeks, many webshops already list them. 32GB cards will work fine in N900, i wil not bet much but im almost sure they will work even in older N-series, like N96 and even N82.
64Gig, its getting ok then. But i do hope the "N920" will have 64gig internal + a card slot or 2. I watch videos more in the N900 than in my PC, so my current 40 gig is not in any way overkill.

Godknowswho, 30 Apr 2010Nokia N900 is a disgrace to the whole of NOkIA coporation, incomplete work, please and please ... morehaha...if you call N900 like this, I wonder what you would call other phones as??? N900 is for people with more than average intelligence! A ferrari is not for the people who like to be chauffeur driven but for super driving enthusiasts...
