Few days ago i bought a Nokia N900. It is very complicated to handle. In the music session i could not find equalizer. I cant control my volume equalizer. I cant send a song to other device via Bluetooth. Some one Help me...
The N900 appears to be a great phone, but everyone I have spoken to is gobsmacked that it doesn't support MMS!!! :( Yes, that's right, it's got a camera and can take videos, but you can't send them to anyone else's mobile phone. These days, this is absolutely BASIC functionality on a mobile phone - not only for social purposes, but also for business.
I knew that the N900 didn't support VMMS, because the Vodafone guide shows that it doesn't, but it never even occurred to me that such a high specced handset wouldn't support MMS!
The handbook is absolutely useless - even the set-up instructions don't work, so I got locked out and had to visit my local Nokia Care Centre, who referred me to Vodafone to obtain the PUK code.
By the time that I'd found my way around most of the features, without the guidance from a decent handbook, it was a week from when I finally got the phone working that I discovered that I couldn't send pictures via MMS - outside the 7 days that Vodafone allow under their returns policy. Although, as far as I am concerned, without MMS, the N900 is 'NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE'.
I'm told that I can download an FMMS app
from OviStore to enable sending pictures, but I can't find anyone who has actually done it and don't yet know if it will allow me to send images to other people's mobile phones.
Vodafone should either withdraw the N900, or give it a huge great 'health warning', so that anyone who does want to send images is not conned into buying one.
Nokia n900 is the best of any other touch phone in nokia. But the os is not well finished and not so much supported utilized software.
Yes, I agree that it is good and even better than N97. But I still do not satisfy with its battery performance. You may compare that with N97 to find out what the difference is. I think it is good if the battery performance is as good as or just similar to that of N97. I like it and I do want to switch to N900, but the problem is here.
Either was, the change between 600 and 800 makes it seem like a whole new phone, framerates on ps emulaters are up, and the whole maemo more experiance feels even more fluid and dynamic than it was before.
no. Maemo 6 is not official yet.
Yes it is possible to overclock n900 to 900mhz! a better battery life and a faster touch experience.
it doesn't have any bad side effects to d phone.
just go to:

[deleted post]Hi AnDo,
How can I sync the N900 with the PS3?
And where did you download the rom's for the N900?
I don't have it yet, but from May 15 I can choose a new phone and it will definitely be this one
[deleted post]yes it is better than n97 because n97 is only 97. the n900 is 900, meaning it is more powerful by 803 (900-97 = 803) hehe. and if you don't know now you know, you know....
Anonymous, 09 Apr 2010I think this guy just born so we give up time to devlop his OS. Today its OS is bugy. They rea... moreTotally disagree that N97 is best for today. I ordered an N900 2 days ago, der was just no doubt abt it, i didnt consider N97 for a split second. But i did consider Nexus One for 3 seconds. The browser of N900 makes all the difference, dont have to settle for the stupid WAP versions of yahoo and facebook and.. You name it! N900 is the real thing for the web/flash, N97 is a Neanderthal in comparison.
And guys, have a look at youtube, search Bounce N900 vs 5800, that kind of graphics is previously unseen on Nokia, it blows everything else away. The 3D hardware accelleration of previos N-series did Nothing, N900 actually uses its 3D hardware, and the 3D hardware is very superior. And linux based core!! For multitasking that opens up new dimensions in performance. And best sound quality ever on a cellfone, xvid and divX video, + + + ...
