Anonymous, 30 Jan 2010Even nokia do not know if it can be upgraded to maemo6!i will be up-graded to Maemo6,,,
hi can anyone tell me how to update new version 3.0 map from ovi to nokia n900.show me how
This must be the first N series phone NOT to do MMS. I thought this phone was supposed to be top of the range?
i really want to see an update where we can organise the contacts into groups and there shud b a category for drafts if we plan to type part sms now and then. also we cant set different tones for different ppl so thats a drawback and im still waiting for the portrait mode to come. the phone packs a decent battery and there are so many softwares available in the catalogue. like virtual keyboards, games, widgets, recorders, fm,etc. the list just keeps on going on.
Can this phone play movies online? For instance, can someone please try this site - www.fastpasstv.com and play one of the movies or tv shows there? Thanks.
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2010yup?! whoever planning to buy this phone? DO NOT BUY.This phone is for 3G SUPPORTS 1700/2100 o... moreCan you please provide a link? This is the first I've heard about anything definite about whether or not it will be able to be upgraded to Maemo 6. Last I heard, Nokia themselves weren't even sure if this will be possible. I visit www.maemo.org every now and again and cannot find anything saying that it definitely won't be upgradeable.
yup?! whoever planning to buy this phone? DO NOT BUY.This phone is for 3G SUPPORTS 1700/2100 only.not maemo 6 upgradeable.
im glad i didnt buy this phone. ive read from the maemo site that maemo 6 will not be upgradable on this phone.
the thinner the lighter the better . So candybar style is the best.i wish next device2b so while at least 512 ram 1.5 ghz processor to be able2use wifi n and wimax.i wish nokia make all in one device. They will find new tecknology n software and hardward everyday. So they wont stop workin.
Hi.....I've reading opinions for this phone for about a month now....and I've heard every side of the story about this phone and everyone is intitle to there own opinion...However after receiving my Nokia N900 last week, I must say..THIS PHONE IS OFF THE HOOK!!...I am a previous owner of a Nokia Ngage, Nokia N95, and Nokia N97...(so I feel like I know a good phone when I see one)
This phone past all my expectations...even I was clinically obsessed with this phone; reading every review and seeing countless videos on youtube. Nothing beats being your own critic....
and about the whole battery draining thing I, purchased two extra batteries and its own charging dock on ebay for $13 bucks..(soo for those people complaining about your battery dying...do somethin about it, Remember this isn't an iphone...you can have more than one battery)
0v0, 29 Jan 2010yea, but Nokia should think also, about other features although it's main concept s for intern... morehmmm, so those are your issues, i know it really tiring to wait but that the only thing we can do for now.
nokia for sure will get updates done, the question is when
how come at this site its only £80,,
