Anonymous, 08 Jan 2010Had the phone for a about a month and had to get rid of it. Nothing works, too many bugs, won'... moreAgree. They did the same thing for N97. Nokia seems to have lost it. They see what the competitors are doing yet they are not able to build on their strength to produce a product that does not have so many bugs. Unfortunately I have both these phones and that is why I am disappointed with Nokia.

no major problem
great mobil.e lin... moreN900 has lots of issues.
a) Its power management is poor under 6 hours only without intensive use
b) It is not so responsive with respect to touch scrolling within apps.
c) The email program needs to be better. Takes a long time to download emails then refresh so that you can see them. There is no option for headings only.
d) When you receive an invitation on email for a meeting in the ical format it does not recognize to add to calendar.
e) No voice dialing
f) the keyboard first row of keys are close to the screen so MAY find difficult to type if you have longer finger nails
g) they have left out "Canada English" in the regional setting but have included "Canada French"
Basically the N900 is a work in progress that needs fixing and updating. There are not enough apps yet.

D... moreGo to youtube and search N900 stress tests and check them out. now as far as the landscape mode most the phone is only in landscape but some third party apps support portrait mode. you can set the phone to open up the call menu when you rotate it for portait mode use. hope this helps alittle lol I drop my N900 once on cement and id doesnt even have a scratch but i may have gotten lucky.
Guys, I'm thinking of buying tomorrow, and I need some advice. First of all this or the E72? Does anyone know how easy it is for the screen to break if you drop it? I've been having a Toshiba and it fell down numerous times but it's still OK. And what is this everyone's saying about the landscape mode?? Do you have to open the keyboard in order to say receive a call or make a call? I'm confused

I rate Iphone = 8.0 out of 10 AND
n900 = 9.5 out of 10..
the only backdrop i found was its low battery.. cauz it has so many features that u just cant stop messing around untill the battery gets low :D..

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2010Had the phone for a about a month and had to get rid of it. Nothing works, too many bugs, won'... moreprobably your n900 was a defect. since you had it for only month, you probably didnt know how use it.
Had the phone for a about a month and had to get rid of it. Nothing works, too many bugs, won't sync with Exchange, won't pair in Bluetooth. Much potential, but Nokia should have this ironed out before putting it out. I basically wasted a bunch of money on a concept phone. Iphone at least does what it promises, maybe it is not as flashy but it works. i can't believe these guys are optimistic about selling more phone in 2010 while putting out crap like the N900!
quote - ....and why isn't this phone being sold in the Philippines? Nokia, you're letting us down...this is the only Nokia with ARM 600 Mhz PowerVR processor...and you do not allow us to experience this? C'mon Filipinos, let's boycott Nokia!
huwaaaattttt? boycott nokia in the phils? are you outta yer mind frothing in yer mouth? hahha that's like telling people not to get any mobiles ar all. 95% of mobiles there in the phils are NOKIA. if there's a nokia capital in the world, that'd be the phils LOLs @_@
