Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Top of line Nokia's are N97, N97 mini, X6 (running SYMBIAN), N900 (running MAEMO).
Top of line Sony Ericsson are X10 (running ANDROID), X2 (not yet released, will be running WinMo 6.5) and the not-so-smart Xperia Pureness.
These are touch snart screen phones (apart from Pureness). Take your pic.
I have a quick one does this phone support video calls? I'm from RO and my network provider is Vodafone. As far as my understanding goes from prior posts and also from specs i can understand it does not.
Can u please confirm.
hjz, 20 Dec 2009I've been using it a week now, so far no issue of hang up. The only flaw so far I've discover ... morehello brothers, and sisters.

ur sugestions will help me in chosing my phone thanks........
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I thought the N900 was a new phone, what's it doing with a 600MHz ARM 8 processor, 256MB of RAM, PowerVR graphics just like the iPhone 3GS which you say is "7 year old".
Now I'll have to go find a modern phone, this is obviously too old fashioned.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Btw. Also check about E90 or Xperia X1, 5800 XM, N85, or N86 8MP. But my first post has what i beleive the top of the line in every category.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You didn't specify your needs, but i still think u shouldn't hurry for newly released phones. If u want business phone go for E75 or E71. If u want multimedia look at N95 or N73. If you want a camera phone so surely u can buy N82, it also will not let u down in the multimedia and connectivity. I have my N82 now for a year totally free of problems or bugs.
By the way, i'm from Egypt.
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2009Somebody says "iPhone is a cult with no competition".
I say "There's competition for iPhone... moreCome back when there's 57 million devices running Maemo, then you can talk about competition.
btw some guy said he couldn't find a phone which could open a site, now he's found two.
Maybe he was just astroturfing to push a bit of traffic to the site.
It's a wonderful piece of technology. I am personally very pleased about it...even it is quite expensive, and the battery life is kind of short, well it depends on how you use it, I mean, I always leave internet connection on watch clips on youtube etc. However, between the N900 and the iPhone...definetly N900 (best phone that I had in my pocket so far). I can't wait until Ovi Store becomes available for the N900 :D

very good solid stable phone i have used the iphone for 2 years and it was good but this blows the iphone out of the water its superior in every way the camera music playback web browser everything, the only downside to this phone is its size some people wont like it but im fine with its form factor
