lauzza160, 15 Dec 2009well the nokia n900 lacks the speed of HSUPA for upload, it should be 5.76mbs unlike 2mbs, the... moreactually the n97 is more expensive than the n900
Stadtionalist, 15 Dec 2009Nokia is getting outdated, if you'd ask me. This is probably the best phone they are having, w... moreAll aspects you mentioned are probably right but you missed one thing. You only looked at the hardware side. You forgot that its both hardware and software that make up this phone. While this phone is a bit on heavy and large size I don't think the processor and RAM is less than competition at all. But where this one really shines is the software. Google for maemo and you'll know. But may be you're too stupid to understand that!
well the nokia n900 lacks the speed of HSUPA for upload, it should be 5.76mbs unlike 2mbs, the Motorola Milestone is faster internet.
But im sure this outweighs the N97 by a bit n more expensive too!!!
Does anyone know if Naemo 5 is giving the same profile functions or not ?
as we used to have the function to allow us control which number can ring during using some profiles
Ring----All Calls or specific Group only
oist zeth that true i saw it also in quiapo i thougt it was n97 but its really n900
Stadtionalist, 15 Dec 2009Nokia is getting outdated, if you'd ask me. This is probably the best phone they are having, w... moreyes i agree with you, except for the thing that a mass memory makes the phone slow, i am using an N97 which has a lower processor than N900, but i dont experience slow apps, maybe you are talking about the RAM, which makes limits on running apps on the phone
zeth, 13 Dec 2009fyi..its out in the philippinesits not yet available in the philippines, contacted nokia philippines and they said that they dont know yet whether to release this or not.
jame, 15 Dec 2009hi all n900 user.i wanna know that is it loudspeaker louder than n97.thank 4 replyi believe n97 and n900 speakers are the same, i dont have an N900 but i had a chance to take a glance of it, their speakers are not as good unlike the xpressmusic edition, but they also have 2 speakers, loud enough for music and speaker calls.
nokia n900 sucks!!, 15 Dec 2009i dont recommend this phone..what a waste of money..very bulky, battery doesn't last that long,... more+ I just wanted to say that the iPhone and the entire Apple brand suxx as well. Almost every test is being done by their own technicians, while the iPhone is built from old scratch that came from other phones, charging you twice as much as it should cost you. This N900 is definitly a better solution than the iPhone 3GS (a phone that isn't a solution, EVER, unless you want to buy a very expensive brick), both in quality as in price.
Nokia is getting outdated, if you'd ask me. This is probably the best phone they are having, while I can mention plenty of phones that are better. Probably the B7610 that got this phone beaten on every aspect. 4row qwerty instead of 3, AMOLED screen, faster processor, better battery life and thinner.
If you want to bring out a phone like the N900, you should at least have some advantages over the competition, and a 32GB internal memory doesn't count because it makes your phone too slow and with a reset, you lost everything ^^.
The N900 is a nice phone, but there are better ones...
nokia n900 sucks!!, 15 Dec 2009i dont recommend this phone..what a waste of money..very bulky, battery doesn't last that long,... morei am sorry you are feeling like that, and i dont have an N900 phone right now, i am a nokia user, i am aware that phones have problems, but first, their are posting rules, and second, i would think that you only want everyones' attention, now you are getting the hang of...LOL
Anonymous, 14 Dec 2009because resistive is way more functional than capacitive if you disagree, you just believe ... morehmmm....yes i believe so and i was not looking thoroughly, n900 was out earlier than x6, may that Nokia hasn't come up with capactive when n900 was announced, I stand to be wrong and corrected...
this phone does not offer much as expected.credit to the body which is some what intact but then this is not the type of a phone that can cover much in this era of high cutting age. i will prefer the simplest ones to these complicated ones
