Reuters: Nokia plans just one Linux phone next year
So it looks like the next phone will be released when Maemo 6 is released.
Ammado, 30 Nov 2009Haven't you ever heared about something called "UPGRADE". Sorry dude for irony, but i couldn't... moreFlash 10 on PC's also has the legacy code for Actionscript 2 content (Flash 9), the Flash 10 for mobile that Adobe is currently developing won't.
This means that all older Flash content will have to be rewritten using Actionscript 3.
The original poster was wrong in stating "all flash content".
I never realised there were so many Adobe fanboys around, who want proprietary standards imposed on everyone's web experience.
Anonymous, 30 Nov 2009So are you gonna run two versions of Flash at once?Haven't you ever heared about something called "UPGRADE". Sorry dude for irony, but i couldn't help it.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2009Come even close to iphone in what? lousiness? Seriously, Iphone's a really really lousy phone... moreI went for iPhone because of it's processing power and it's not fat with a keyboard (waste of space), I also like writing messages with one hand.
JKOOL, 30 Nov 2009For all you people coming here comparing this phone to the Iphone, what is that all about?? Wh... moreCan you install Citrix Receiver, like I use on my iPhone to use the full version of Microsoft Office 2007 or ANY windows software that will run on Windows Server.
Does this have it?
It's important for enterprise use.
Anonymous, 29 Nov 2009Iphone killer? you having a laugh? HTC HD2 is the only handset so far that comes even close to that.Come even close to iphone in what? lousiness? Seriously, Iphone's a really really lousy phone itself.Looks sleek but the device itself is close to zero when it comes to performance or userfriendliness. Ppl go for iphone due to the wide variety of apps. Apple being a famous brand , so many companies willing to write apps for it.That's how it's become famous. It's like how Paris Hilton's famous. Why is she famous? Because she's famous...

You still won't have access to "all the flash content on the web" as you put it.
For all you people coming here comparing this phone to the Iphone, what is that all about?? What is being compared here? Is it the easy use of the Iphone's touch UI? Or is it the complete phone on a whole? Personally, I wouldn't want an Iphone. I want a phone that can do lots of stuff, take good photos, make good videos via its own camera, ability to view all the flash content on the web and of course all that coupled with good/great user friendliness. I think the Iphone is nothing but an overrated VERY VERY AVERAGE handset. Ask yourself, what can the Iphone do that this phone can't? Then on the flip side, ask what this phone can do that the Iphone can't. It may surprise you, but the difference is hanging way over here in the balance deeming this (and many other handsets out there) winners. I cannot understand it, if the Iphone can satisfy your mobile handset cravings, why can't these phones that are clearly more feature packed???? Think about it seriously..........
I have had mine for 2 days and am very disspaointed. Size is ok, weight is not ad but software is, to me very poor.
Could be that I have never used it before but when it only works on landscape???
Saurabh, 29 Nov 2009Does N900 come with compatibility to sync with Microsoft outlook? Yes the N900 supports it.
David, London, UK, 28 Nov 2009Hi all,
I am very close to purchasing my new phone. I will either go for this beauty or the... moreI am in UAE now and I WAS in the same situation as you (E72 or N900). I was so sure when I got here that I was going to get the N900; however, after playing around with the phone at the Nokia store for 30 mins, I came to a conclusion that it is NOT the phone for me.
Key reason being the look and keyboard. Keyboard is really small for my fingers, even though E72 keypad isn't big but it is easily pressable than the N900. Also, the camera on the E72 has many more features. When I looked at the features for the camera on both, the N900 lacked a lot.
I as so ready to get the n900 but I am getting the e72 tomorrw for both myself and my wife. Battery is also amazing on the E72.
Nokia rep told me that there are around 40 apps available on the Ovi store at the moment for the n900. Good luck on making your decision. I played around with both phones and E72 is definately my choice.
MobiFool, 29 Nov 2009I may skip N900 and wait for next one, I'm happy with my N97. same hear

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2009Iphone killer? you having a laugh? HTC HD2 is the only handset so far that comes even close to that.erm pretty much every new smartphone is an 'iphone killer'. only reason they sell so well is because they are ridiculously easy to use, so less intelligent persons such as yourself think they are the best
