sohail, 18 Oct 2009do u think that the 1320 mAh battery will be good enough for this phone??according to allaboutphones.nl the pre-release version:
Talk time - 660 mins
Standby time - 360 hrs
in another review I also saw that with extremely heavy use (always online, media player, several browsers opened) it lasts from 6 to 10 hours
I think that considering its connectivity and multitasking capabilities... it is above average
do u think that the 1320 mAh battery will be good enough for this phone??
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Landscape only just like no mms are maemo remnants. They both suck ant they'll both be fixed.
You cannot use the keyboard in anything but landscape so why would you want anything but the phone in protrait ??
i want the N97 mini! c",
this phone doesn't have portrait mode in all its application except call. a very big deal breaker..
i need to know rgrdng Nokia N900 , that can we install any softwares as like same in nokia n70 or n95.whether all nokia mobiles softwares will support to N900.
Pls rply me,,
When i saw first time this mble photo in google , from that moment iam waiting inshalla to buy this mble as soon as it release.
Being carved from a single piece of aluminium pays dividends. It makes the nokia incredibly light, amazingly thin, extremely durable, and eminently portable.
Farhan, 18 Oct 2009all i want is Java...do u think they will include that
i think they should. At this point java MIDP is almost useless, except opera mini 5. Winmo's, symbians and the whol bunch out there that uses webkit browsers could end up relying entirely on it and I have to admit it's awesome!
But regarding java libraries, it's hard to say, I only use one program that speciicaly requires them and that's REFT (ridiculously easy file transfer)...
Maybe they'll come but either way java works in many programs without needing vm or libraries instlled.
And no it doesn't seem a priority.
all i want is Java...do u think they will include that
i think they should.
Anonymous, 18 Oct 2009hardware specs are unlikely to change... at this point only some minor software changes will b... more[better camera]... and it'll also make the device more expensive.
IMO N900 is great value for the money.
Not many ppl will think the same as u...Unless u r working as a tech in Nokia. Then ur words would be helpful. U are confirming everything before ACTUAL LAUNCH!!! Funny!
Nokia fans, 18 Oct 2009Im just Hoping!!! In the review specs of N900 in here already speculate before the actual laun... morehardware specs are unlikely to change... at this point only some minor software changes will be done
- and with the battery... the current one has already proven to be enough to be in par with average phones
- ram and processor is also more than enough since I've read that even with 6 apps running and 9 browsing windows it's response remains the same
- camera... would have been great really, but this is not a dedicated camera phone so adding an 8mp camera will only make it heavier, bulkier and more energy hungry
what is nokia waiting for?i've been waiting for ths phone to be released and now its release date has been moved to november,i'm getting a lil pisd waiting ths long..
Farhan, 18 Oct 2009so ur are speculating these features. Im just Hoping!!! In the review specs of N900 in here already speculate before the actual launch. So im just hoping, hoping it can be change.
Farhan, 18 Oct 2009thank you.
I have done my reading across the net. But i could not find that information.
Bu... morewell... there are actually 4 unlocking methods so here are all aver again (positions are located with the phone in portrait mode)
1 - sliding the qwerty keyboard down: takes u to the screen that was on when it locked
2 - sliding the unlock slider down (located right in the middle of the right side of the phone): takes u to the screen that was on when it locked
3 - pushing the on/off button (on the upper side of the device right on the middle): takes u to a screen that has the current time and below a sliding thingy (just as in the iphone and on the n97 to answer calls while it is locked) after sliding it all the way, takes u to the screen it was on whet it locked
4 - opening thee lens cover (on the back and to the right): opens the phone app
hope it clears all your doubts
