As long as you accept that resistive screen is okay and the lack of multitouch, this phone is great
I can see the success of the n900! euro 500 N900 is cheaper than slow n97 and released just one month since the announcemen
I accept the resistive screen, but hope nokia keep working hard to bring the multitouch tontheir future maemo based model, mutitouch is useful when typing on onscreen keyboard and zoom and gaming
n900 makes my day! Maemo os is the best Linux os on phone!:)
Anonymous, 29 Aug 2009compare it with samsung i8910. don't know what these nokia fans are talking about. perfection?... more1 GB application memory (N900) vs 256 MB application memory (Omnia HD)...
We have a winner! Why do you think multi-tasking is so smooth on the N900???
This phone looks fantastic. But, I've just been on Nokia's site for it; http://maemo.nokia.com/n900 and it says that the headset it comes with is the WH-205. Go look it up! I think it's a bit basic for a phone of this calibre, since the 5800 ships with a 2-piece music headset, with play/pause/skip buttons.
Surely that's not correct?
Nokia Product is out of mind.
why it delcare heavy set why not it decrease his previous branded model price.
but Nokia servic is better
If this is capacitive screen, the Maemo hacker will hack the os to add multitouch
just like android hacker hack g1
Anonymous, 30 Aug 2009To all of you Nokia fans out there,
My dear this couldn't compete w/ Satio. Its so obvious ... moreto this poor ericson fan...
please note that SATIO phone has Symbian OS...which is owned by nokia....so nokia knows that this Maemo 5 cell is better than Satio
Please nokia note= same n900
specifications+edit 8mp camera, HD video shutter, 145gram, 450 ero price, s60, 5wy joyestik, lounch nokia i will run other phones why.
Maemo high end phone will kill the symbian high end touch nokia phones !
Maemo make symbian look boring and outdated!
Capacitive screen will be annnounced this nokia world or next year, I do believe nokia can't make all their touch phone resisitive screen! The nokia 's love afffair with the resistive screen, please stop it!
Listen up! Make some( not all) or capacities edition capacitve screen phone, and to add multitouch tech to your phone( not important , but it is good to have)
Stantum resistive multitouch technology also works with capacitive screen :))))))))))
www.stantum.com. Check this out!!!!
battery is very week. i demand atleast 2000 mAH battery for such a phone / computer.
This is indeed one of the most capable phones out there... I hope Nokia would launch something like this but with AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and a camera with more than 5 megapixels. =)
It is shame for Nokia that not included DVB-H receiver tuner.
Ff, 30 Aug 2009Is the fm radio confirmed?
It is very important to me!!!!!!! Nokia site does not mention... moreYes,it has FM Radio,FM transmitter,BUT without FM radio recording function.
Nokia N900 Technical Specifications :
lek, 30 Aug 2009the camera is too poor if it wud b more than 5 MP it wud b better n it need 2 have xenon flash... moreLek there goes your ignorance about photography, more megapixels have very little to do with the quality, megapixel number just mean the size of the image, many factor must work together on the camera itself and including the user experience and talent to get a good photo.
I do recommend you to read more about photography.
No dout this thing will be equal to laptops (plugins wise)when it comes to web surfing.far ahead of any smartphones.at the same time it did manage to put in some decent specs and i think it wud support upto 32gb memory card makin a total of 64gb.
Is the fm radio confirmed?
It is very important to me!!!!!!! Nokia site does not mention it! But gsmarna say it does
have one, who Is correct
does n800/n810 has fm radio?
To all of you Nokia fans out there,
My dear this couldn't compete w/ Satio. Its so obvious that in the coming years Sony Ericsson and Samsung will win over every single Nokia phone out their!
But before thet happens let me just say goodbye nokia, see you next time( if ever theirs still a next time)
