I hope after atleast 1 year Meego will be fine, looks good not childish as now,and old bugs would be fixed, and be easier to install because meego is meant to be better than maemo5, also Meego can run all applications that existed on meamo5, also I do not believe that nokia and intel would actualy join on a project that would go to garbage, so virtualy nokia did not abandoned n900 completely.
if you were coming here to say the iphone 4 is better so go and buy one ! and don't disturb us here ! PEOPLE WHO OWN N900 are way more to compare their smart tablet with those stupid phones on the market like iphone and android and even WP7 ! this phone uses a way different technolgies ! So SHUT UP and believe the N900 is non comparable phone :) because it's a tablet !
nokia n900 are great...!!!i ve used this fon before...but im now using iphone 4...
yes, mybe iphone 4 left n900 too far behind...but seriously i said that n900 n galaxy s are only competitor for iphone 4...mybe galaxy s2 is greater than iphone 4..
but for those who r using n900 rite now.just keep it n dun ever think to replaced it...its processor is better than 3gs..mybe nokia is fool cuz raise too much for symbian...i hope nokia will make maemo, meego n wp7 greater than android...cuz i hated android..have used android before(galaxy s,xperia arc n xperia play)but get bored just after 3 days....just xperia play is looking a bit great cuz it got somethin special that its psp like gaming button...
relly hope that nokia will make somethin bigger after this....cuz bestphonemaker already goes to htc,n bestsoftware also on android...
just hope that iphone 4s/5 will be a great competitor with maemo, meego n wp7 on nokia...!!!
cant wait for iphone 5 n nokia n9 launching...will be 2 greatest mobile in the earth guaranteeed....
no it's not better than iphone 4..check the specs..it's only half the power of iphone4 processor and memory wise
this phone is the reason why i hate nokia nowadays..
i hate nokia because this phone n900 has loads of potential, coupled with a smooth ui, openness for multimedia and file sharing, trustworthy hardware and possibilities for innovation with this linux-basd one..
and nokia just abandoned it..
how pitiful it is for them to stick with clumsy symbian for too long, now theyre losing profits, stores, and recently their UK online store is now closing (link here http://recombu.com/news/nokia-to-close-uk-online-store_M14440.html)
i want nokia to comeback soon.. hope they wake up and start making wp7 and maemo devices with competitive prices..
I recently heard along some grapevines... That the N900 supports DVB-H Headsets.
Is this true?
Can I view mobile DVB-H channels on this device? Is it software app I need to download? Or the DVB-H headset plug-and-play?
P.S. Are there any of you who have been able to actually view mobile tele via the N900?
great device...computers look like sissy infront of it....been using it for 2 months.its the ultimate smart phone.

TARIQ, 04 Jun 2011I am trying to download Nimbuzz but Nimbuzz is not supporting Nokia N900You do not any apps to access SNS (messenger, ICQ and other stuff)
Just install the protocols for Conversations and you have all these services integrated right into your Conversations built-in application.
That's the deal with the N900: you don't need to install hundreds of apps to get anything done.
I have one and I love it and I love using it everyday. There's so much you can do with the N900 that you can't do with even the newest droids or iphone.
It's just not a phone for everyone (especially the less technically inclined) and the Nokia did a poor job advertising it (in Portugal, where I live, they did plenty of advertising of the crappy N97 but nothing for the N900... Sad, really)
