I bought my nokia N91 phone yesterday and it was functioning properly till this morning when it started going off and on, pls help ur reply will be of help very well.
The model is N91
i would like 2 ask about the 2 little arrows that appear under network signal provider,
could you plz tell why u actually prefer the silver one(I m havin)though the black-silver has 8 gig in HDD size
Yesterday I had in my hand a N91 8GB and the only difference I found with my N91 4GB is the hard drive size(4GB-8GB) and the color(silver-black).
I actually prefer the silver one, more classy and elegant....just a matter of taste

can N91 phone download it to a PC, pictures preferably and important messages received for future reference. Can I take note and log in the celfon and download to a PC. Thank you
Well, actually, I admit that I really want that N91 8GB, not because of the increased hard drive capacity (4GB is actually more than enough for me since I don't store songs which I never want to listen to.), but because of the hear-says that N91 8GB possesses a faster processor, music player visualization, and better screen resolution (and not to mention of course, 3G and Wi-Fi). That's just actually a better upgrade of N91. But if it's too costly to upgrade, then I'll never upgrade at all. I'll never buy another mobile phone in a short half year span. I just wish someone would give me a N91 8GB for a birthday or Christmas gift.
There are 3 variants of N91: N91-1 WCDMA, with Wi-Fi (WLAN); N91-5 GSM (no 3G support of course), without Wi-Fi ; and N91 GSM, without Wi-Fi. N91 GSM is for China legislation. N91-5 GSM is a crippled version of the original N91, actually, a cost-reduced one, sold in Asia. N91-1 is the full version N91, sold in Europe, Middle East, Asia & Africa.
If you happened to pick the wrong one (N91-5), like me, your phone is only limited to its fastest data transmission speed, EDGE, and nothing more.
It has 2 versions-n91-1 & n91-5
u r havin n91-5.
No way 2 fix it.
But u can buy n91 8 giga with 3g n wifi n lots more!
i have a question...why my n91 not competible with 3g and wifi?? how can solve this problem?? thx
my nokia n 91 worked properly for the first two months!! all my songs and pics got corrupted and my hard drive wasnt saving anything!!
hi i have a N91 4GB i thought it is not a comprihencive phone too much bulky ringer is too much lower but i wanna to say one thing for music lover its fantastic
What language was that? 'Cos I can only understand English and my native language Filipino.
N91 8GB I think for me is pretty good. I wish to have one of that next year. N91's design is the most attractive, gorgeous, sexy, smart, excellent, futuristic, stunning, luxurious and everything else.
can some one tell me which is best forat to put in cell fones .mp3 or aas or ogg
wat settings to use for either . !!! and any good audio converter for these formats ???
I'm very much satisfied with my N91-5, 1.10 sw. I thought it would give me same terrible problems like other N91 users were encountering but it turned the other way instead. I must say that I was disappointed in the first week of using this phone because of frequent hangs. But after that, it doesn't hang anymore. Everything is working smooth and fine. It doesn't hang, it doesn't restart by itself. The HDD does not corrupt even if I put many songs and other files in it. I don't know what happened but I'm very happy with its "behavior." It's really a tough phone in my opinion. The only thing I'm not so contented with is it's lack of 3G and Wi-Fi support. But that's no big deal anymore. I can even surf the internet through this phone like what I do with a PC. I should also mention that the Opera Mini browser is much better than the two built in browsers 'cause it lets me browse the web in speed (though it's inevitable to restart the browsing session because of low RAM).
These are my final words regarding my personal comment about N91.
With the N91, I get a reliable phone, superb Music player, and instant internet browser in one tough device. I'm not trading this for a N91-1 now.
its a tight phone, but it keeps shutting down by itself, every now and then most song on my phone gets missing. i have fomatted my hdd four times in three months and thats not good. was thinking of getting the new N91 8gig but i hink it will still have the same problems. i'l like to know what is the problem cos you cant acces your pictures, watch video without it hanging
I don't want to risk the pleasure and convenience of having a perfectly working phone. My 1.10 sw causes no problem at all. So what's the point in updating to 2.10? I don't mind the version, I mind the performance.
About the Live 8 videos, I really like them. But since I have no way of opening them, I think I have to delete them all. :-(
(I posted this message using N91 and Opera Mini browser.)
