Hi Siilver The £149 on O2 site is for new people to O2 not up Grades. You well pay a lot more than that as well But they do deals on Text & mins if you change for 12months to 18months............... The Phone does Rock
The N91 is great in every way apart from none. Once you have downloaded music to the phone, it then takes ages to open anything in the gallery. I have 1.5 gig on mine and with nothing else on the phone operating, it takes 30 seconds to open the gallery, say to look at a picture. Logically, I guess 3 gig will take 60 seconds? . WIthout music on the phone, the gallery opens instantly (as it should). The problem is that the N91 stores its music in the gallery (like other Nokias) but it does not need to as you access the music via the MP3 type controls on the front of the phone. WIth normal nokias storing music in the gallery was never a problem as you were only storing a few megabyte, but now we are talking gigabytes, this problem really screws this phone up. I have reported it to Nokia and if you have the problem, I suggest you do the same, so they sort a fix out for it, because believe me, this delay will really annoy you.
PLease Nokia change ur interfarence of series 60 or launch any set in touch system like P990 ya like 7710 with some thing new or with lot of features
U can use it browse the net.
The you can really use it. This is my setup.
My pc is 40 metres from my tv. all pc movies plays on my tv. my N91 connect to the pc via wifi, and i'm able to controll the pc as if i'm infront of it. when done, you shutdown your pc, and sleep. Also i can control my home pc from any where in the world. All that is needed is an internet connection. Ahhhh, ain't technology great. there other units that do this, but the n91 just makes it look good
1. The internet browzer is unmatched. exlc pdas
2. Music player works good enough, so does the radio.
3 Battery life 1 and a half to 2 days, which good enough considering you get a docking station. Set it up at the office, you'll never run flat. have a spare at home though.
4. numeric keys are small, but once you have this phone for a week, you'll right at home.
5. Wifi - this just opens doors!
sorry guys really disappointing camera picture quality at the worst level but the memory is good up to 4 gb an other cause very slow processing and overall this n91 disappointing me but the up coming mobile n93 will be rocking
This phone is excellent, although N80 is very tempting but battery is S$!T!!
im waiting on this phone to arrive from o2
they have been out of stock of this from it was released on monday the 22nd, and i orded it on the friday before
but the main point here is
i got the phone for 29.99£ upgrade
and i only spend 40£ on my bill
the way i worked it was,
the upgrade of the phone is 149.99£, yes?
and the person on the end of the phone at o2, said that they will give me 10£ of my bill for a whole 12months.
so that will give me back a grand totaly of 120£, so if i didnt get this phone i wouldnt have got of the 10£ a month, so i would be getting the same bill on any other phone
so i dont think i got a bad deal on this phone.
they said it was know problem getting money of my bill.
so why not ask and see what they will offer you
remember they want your money and they will do anything to keep you
dont be affraid to past
oh ya forgot to say i got a txt from o2 to day saying that this phone is now back in stock and will be ready to be sent out ot me
i want to know how wi-fi works and what html internet explorer have and pls if you can acces with his own software this site on wi-fi www.meebo.com and to login on thx
all people who complain about this phone they just cannot buy it ,this phone rocks , it is like a small lapetop or even better
I have been waiting many years for a predocessor for my nokia 8910i and finally i have found the n91. It has many great features including a four GB hard drive to store music and videos on. Camera and video quality is good also the zoom in feature. The desin and looks of the phone remind me of another great phone that was my former nokia 8850. Maybe nokia have listened to my complaints about the ugly phones being realeased on the phone market and re-invented the nokia 8850 with better features. Also i dont think the phone is that much bigger as people allways want to find something to complain about. People hate this phone probably carnt afford thats why they critise it.
That was the worst phone I have ever come across. Received it on a friday, it went back on the monday after. 3G - You have to turn the phone round to have a video call. Is it me or is that a tiny bit stupid? The whole point of Video calling is TO SEE THE PERSON YOU SPEAK TO!! Trying to send a text is so slow, it's like trying to play catch up/ The keys are tiny and not very user friendly. The speakers are tinny, not what I'd expect from a so called music phone. I had to reformat it 6 times on the first day I received and lost all my info. This phone is bad. I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy.
anyone know when this phone will come down in price iam up for an upgrade and o2 tole me if i wanted i had to pay £200 obviously i said no, really like this phone nothing out on the market that catches my eye
I have this phone(02 model), alot of people hate it, but I can say yes its a little big, but it has pretty much everything I want, GREAT PHONE NOKIA!!!! (camera flash would have been great though)
This is my 7th phone this year (6230, 6230i, 6820, V3, N90, N70 and now the N91 and I have to say that it is by far the best phone I have ever "owned" - I might even have to keep this one. The music quality is as good as an ipod (although mine did arrive with a faulty headset it was easily replaced with a quick phone call). The phone looks nice, feels nice, works very well. It has a key lock switch which is a great idea.
I'd definately recomend this phone to anyone. You can even go online free with wireles LAN.
