Nokia N93 Has One Big Problem. It's Dictaphone Records Just One Minut
it's incredible huge. u can say smthing about it-s size just before u hold it. it's huuuuuuuuge. i realy want to buy it... but i must think about a way to take it with me.
it does not fit with my pokets.
I think that many SE and Nokia phones are released with the very very similar features/same class. That's why everyone want to compare them.
I'll give you some examples :
W950i (but still not be released) vs N91
M600i/608 vs E61/60
K610i/m/618/V630 vs 6233/6234
K310i vs 6070
Z520i vs 6101
Z530i vs 6103
Z550i vs 6131
J230i vs 6030
Of course not all of them can be compared because most of Nokia phone use Symbian (I mean smartphone like 3250,N70,N72,N73 etc) while SE smartphone are only P series + M600 + W950i.
But we can compare partially like only music quality (for SE W810/800/700/900) and camera quality (for SE K750i,K510i,K800i/790i).
And for music quality, that's very individually taste; maybe also photo quality. That's why we find many different opinion.
But for so far I see, if the price of them are similar than SE usually has more or better feature than Nokia. And if the feature is similar than SE usually has fewer price. (For example K750i vs 6230i at that moment).
But the last time I see also SE price sometimes too high. In my opinion like W810i and P990i.
I know that is an economical law or price strategy. More people need and will buy it than the price shall high and if not than the price shall drop.
This is a free forum, that's why I like it.
@no name before me
Please, have you read all the website so you can say "all other website prove that the foto which taken by N93 always better than SE K800i"?
You forget this adress :
Please read it.And if you don't agree with them you can prove it by yourself.
This is a free forum,so everybody can share their opinion. But of course if we share it with objectivity that can be better.
Everyone has also individually taste and condition;that's why we find many different opinion here.
Like small phone or no problem with the dimension.
Want to buy worthed handphone with the price or no problem with money.
Want to take phone+camera+video+music+office aplication in one handset or no.
I must confess,I can get more megapixel+super video in a camera digital plus music smartphone with the price to buy one N93.
And because of many many discussions from the quality of photo taken by N93/73 or K800i,maybe the ability of the camera not too much different than the hand that use the camera shall make decision.
I just want to hear/read the conclusion from someone who has used both of them personally.
K800 is a phone in the DARK WORLD! we are not people who live in the dark world. Who cares about it xenon flash and if we want camera just buy digital camera. Don't you know why K800 is much much cheeper? Because even it is cheepest in the market it also cannot hit the market. I still don't understand why people say k800 can take better picture than N93. See in Mobile Review.com. It's totally prove that N93 is better. All other web site prove it too. Colur is better than K800.
Didn't you guys notice that there is so much loss of contrast in pictures taken in the n93 compared to the k800i? It turned n93 into a 2mp camera. The video may be the main
attraction of the n93. But if you take 640x480 video. Won't the detail be more lost compared to the 2mp level n93? Isn't k800i the logical choice for those of us who want camera and phone in one?
actually N93is the best nokia phone so far in the next genaration to come.kaap it up nokia.
Nokia N93 won award already!
Nokia N93 voted European Media Phone 2006-2007
August 15, 2006
Espoo, Finland - Nokia today announced that its latest high performance multimedia computer, the Nokia N93, has been awarded the European Media Phone of the Year 2006-2007 by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), Europe's largest multimedia press organization. The award is yet another industry recognition of Nokia's continued commitment to innovation in mobile imaging.
EISA commended the still image and video capture quality of the Nokia N93 plus the extensive internet and connectivity options, dubbing the device the "perfect example of a multimedia computer that can fit in your hands." The judges also singled out the Nokia N93's video editing and printing capability and its digital music player for particular praise.
"Nokia is delighted to have its advancements in digital imaging recognized by EISA for the second year running," said Satu Ehrnrooth, head of Nokia Nseries Cameras, Multimedia, Nokia. "The Nokia N93 represents a new breed of mobile imaging device. Users will find all of the exceptional connectivity, communication and entertainment features you would expect from a multimedia computer whilst also providing always-with-you imaging facilities to match dedicated compact cameras or video recorders."
EISA is the largest editorial organization in Europe, with a membership of 52 Audio, Mobile Electronics, Video and Photo magazines drawn from 18 European countries. In June, EISA member magazines came together for the election of the European awards. The panel annually chooses the best equipment in a number of categories from products introduced during the preceding twelve months.
The Nokia N93, which started shipping in July 2006, is the latest addition to Nokia's high performance Nokia Nseries range, offering unparalleled digital camcorder, telephony and rich mobile internet functionality. Boasting a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, DVD-like video capture and 3x optical zoom, the Nokia N93 offers an advanced combination of imaging and communication technology.
smaaherz, what will you be using the phone for? they have different purposes thats why i am asking..
the n93 is the best of all n-series but a bit oversized. if size doesnt matter you than n93.
to all people,, i need sincere help!!!!
which fone is better p990 or n93
i thing i wanna tell you- i dont care about price!!! please help
n92 is better because is hads better keypad and program and best look and features
The Nokia N93 is the best of the N series phones at the moment, imo. While it may be quite expensive at the moment, I think it's one of the best smart phones available at the moment.
Yes, N91 is music oriented, but it should be considered that its memory is HDD (Hard Disc Drive) - which means that it is very sensitive - and yes I have heard and even seen a lot of people complain and had problems about it. However, if you are going to purchase this, be very careful so much so that you must play with it as much as possible while in the store.
As for the N92, it is not officially launched yet by Nokia. I can be wrong that people who have it might be prototypes, I'm not sure. However, N 92's support site has already been online in Nokia Europe site, which means that it is indeed scheduled for release - but seems to be limited only to countries with DVB technology.
As for the N93, I suggest you try it in a store. I have it and I am satisfied with it. But still, it will depend on the enduser if he or she will be satisfied or happy with it. The unit that I have is very stable and has never restarted whatsoever. However, it might depend on the particular unit so kindly check. I purchased N93 because I need to use its TV out to carry simple powerpoint presentations during class, rather than bringing my laptop everyday. Plus I can also show short educational films in MP6 format. Among other things, I am able to maximize its use.
So, in the end, it will still depend on which applications you want your phone to be used for.
Good luck in choosing.
bubut..if music and camera qualities are what you are after then i would not purchase the n91..i had that phone before and was very disappointed..the hard drive will crash and the picture quality and screen clarity is poor..i dont know much about the n92 because for some reason only a chosen few can get there hands on that phone..besides, i heard its 2,000 dollars to buy it..although i am not a fan of the n93, i would purchase it when compared to the other 2 nokias you mentioned..that or shop around with other brands..good luck..
Hi. can anyone help me? Which is better, N91,n92 or n93. Im more particular with d camera and music features. Rikki? help pls?
hey rikki, im happy that you have this phone and that you are satisfied with it. i have the phone as well and i am UNsatisfied..so my posts that you may deem as nokia bashing arent meant to be that way..im sure you will agree that all of us are entitled to our own opinion. if the n93 suits you then good for you.. but phones are like a pair of shoes, what fits you may not fit someone else..
Got this phone yesterday, it has exceeded my expectations!! Can't get over the quality of the sceen, it really is outstanding! This phone is not perfect, but it's the best phone i've ever used and that is saying something!! www.zenmobile.com - there will be a review here very soon :-)
