i don`t like n93 because it`s too heavy (it looks like a brick :)) )i`ve seen it..very ugly..and it has the same features like n80 and n73..i have an n80 and even this one it`s pretty heavy 135g...i think the best one will be n73..thin..2 speakers..the same features like n80 and n93..
what do you guys think? its cheap only problem is it takes 5 days processing time.
i think n93 to n80 are all good... just try to surf on it before you'll goin to buy it.. me i love this to buy that kind of phone, but there is no enought coin to buy it.. hehehe
Im sick of people saying that the dimentions of the N93 are so big and its a monster and all that guff.
Do not discriminate against this phone untill you have seen it and played on it.
You cant even imagine what this fone is like to use...but i can cus i have one.
This is a very powerful phone with very powerful features, its a smartphone, thats why its a bit bigger than sumthing like the 8800 or S/E K800.
Im not the type of person that is only one-branded. Ive just swapped from a S/E V800 and ive have Motorola, Nokia, Ericsson, Sony and Sagem phones in the past.
Every phone has its good points and bad.
Im just tired of reading peoples opinions that are obviously completely dedicated to S/E, and hear them bash around Nokia.
Everybody just relax
hi there just two days back i brought thi phone it has full tv output facility u can even surf internet gr8 tv output function
Very cool features and design , like N73 and N80 . It's a very good choice ...
beetwen n93 and n80 I would take n80.
My dad has an n80 and it's very heavy and big, BUT IF U READ THE dimesions and weight of it................by the way n93 is very ugly too ......................................................
hey i am thinkin of buying this phone. i just wanted to know that does it have full tv out support like in d600 and d800 etc. or is it limited to videos or somethin. plz someone help me cuz it is a serious problem and if it doesnt support tv out fully i might not buy it
Bawaji, you are saying that the videorecording is bad...?I'm going to buy it tomorrow...I'll buy the n93 only for the camera, like you did...what should I do?isn't it the best device for videorecording...?Thanks,regards...
rknr.. lolx... sounds funny though but it does make sense to me. haha.
b7aa... I have N70 myself for 2 months be4 i got K800.. honestly, K800 is far too good compare to N70 (once u've seen K800, your N70 looks like SH*T). well.. i dun have problems with screen, but occasionally the phone turns itself down (and when it happens, my fren said, yea.. its common for the new nokias).. so? i guess ppl here don't really complaint because the problems are just tooo common, that even without saying it ppl already know.. that's what i think. lolx.
however, the build quality of N70 is fine, the screen is better than K750 but not as good as K800. One problems with N70 is the way too small keypad. I found that is a huge disadvantage.. look... even if i can work with word, NOT WITH THE BLOODY KEYPAD. I'd rather to write it down, its faster lolxx.. so.. useless smartphone i guess..
Seeing how the K800i is the best camera phone. I tried it today but notice something awefull. When you use dictionary mode in texting, can you turn off the annoying "The word is not in dictionary" screen that pops up everytime you misspell it. I like the nokia way where it is not shown. Also the "space bar" key of SE is the right most (the # button). Don't you find this more tiring for the thumb to press it rather than in the middle position (in the number 0) of nokia where it is more comfortable??
Its a teriffic phone. The size of the phone isn't as much as it seems initially (or perhaps, I have got large hands, so I don't care). Camera is top quality and I bought this phone ONLY for the dvd-like video recording. I definitely shines out as far as this is concerned. This is my first clam-shell phone So I am not too comfortable with the headpiece, but I think its something to get used to.
this phone is way too large its even bigger than the n90
only thing good in this phone is the camera
and the price of it is too much for it
to whoever posted he se lover comment below..
Gents & ladies
Received my N91 fone 5 days ago. It hung twice - i had to remove the batt. The volume function sometimes fails to adjust during calls. I occasionally get "changing applications" msg that appears together with a beep when fone goes to standby. Any advice would be appreciated. I don't want to throw in the towel just yet.--
oh my god! Mine got several bad sector in hd drive. When i accessing some files it always give errorr message. Then i check via scandisk on my pc, then i found a lot of bad sector!--
yesterday i went to nokia service center & they refuse to repair/swap under warranty. They said its my fault! Oh my god!
What a fantastic response!
bought the N91 on 10th May, 2006. the most worst phone i have ever used. it gets restarted every now and then and with the restart it deletes all the sms. now my hard drive gets corrupted. any key press shows MEMORY FULL. it's gallery does not work. What a beautiful product NOKIA is marketing ! ! !--
my n-91 hard disk is defective. after taking a few shot (camera and video) the hard disk broke down. i brought it to the nokia center, however, it did not last for 3 days and i cant access the hard disk again. i am a nokia fans but this piece of phone, the hard disk thing, 4G for that matter is a bad piece of advertisement. now, i have to bring this junk again to the nokia center. i dont know if a bought a lemon.---
there..thats just a few of nokias happy customers..next time read both sides before making a comment
To SE fans out there... youre just blinded and wont ever accept that SE phones are crappy... theyre DISPOSABLE. ok... so they might take good pics or whatsoever, but i havent ever read a post in a nokia forum that states:
"My screen just went on and off and then suddenly got white and my phone wont work anymore"
"My battery wont charge and when i plug in the phone to the AC, it just crashes"
"When i use the Disc 2 phone software... sometimes my phone just freezes and when i unplug it ... it just wont work"
"My joystick broke within the first month of use"
Got my point???
If you are more oriented in taking pictures, K800i is suggested (because it has so far the best mobile cam currently in the market), the pic quality of N93 has more realistic colors but a bit grainy (but this will be fixed by future firmware upgrade, after Nokia has reached acceptable sales of N73 - pure marketing).
But if you are more into video, N93 is currently the best in mobile the market. About the optical zoom noise, there is an option in the menu that can turn it off, I have browsed through it but I have never tried it yet, will post about it later as soon as I have the time.
N93 sound? the loudspeaker is more of treble, clear and loud but not stereo. However, when you use the headset or earplug that comes with it, the sound is superb. I have read in mobile-review.com, can't remember the URL though, that the sound using headset is very good because of a special chip used (other than the chip for graphics accelerator) ...sorry I am not that specific into technical terms but I will try to look for that thread in mobile-review and post the link here.
There are also other users who opted for a 3.5mm plug adapter to be connected to the pop port so that they can plug in their own type of earplus (Bose, Altec lansing, etc)...you can decrease or increase the volume even when the phone is in closed mode, also can switch to next music file or the previous and you can see that through the external screen.
Thank you very much for the TV out link! That was cool! I will try it. Thanks.
Fantastic Phone.. Just bought it from Vision PCS in houston on harwin.. Great phone Great Guys... Should check them out.. Thanks to the crew @ Vision PCS
the above quotes:
"There is not one picture which fulfils the extra amount of pixels within the KG920 (5 Mpixel in stead of 3.2 Mpixel within the others). It does not lead to a higher sharpness or a better detail."
Well. From the very small censors of the
cameraphone. We can expect the 3.2mp to
be noisy compared to full fledged digicam. This means a 5mp won't do better as the
quality of pictures in camaraphone is not
as good. So does this mean 3.2mp is the
optimum resolution. Also it will take
longer shots in the 5mp and this can
produce more blur.
Another quote in the following web site says:
"When we sum up a complete conclusion of the complete photo quality then it becomes clear that the Sony Ericsson K800i sticks to the number one position. There is no reason to buy the KG920, due to the fact that it takes to much time to make a photo and there is no extra quality in relation to the amount of available pixels. The N73 and N93 are nice devices with a reasonable quality. The N93 is too fat and too large, but has 3x optical zoom."
For the first time. I'm considering a SE K800i. Admit that the n93 is just quite
expensive at $800. The K800i is half priced and better quality. For those who have analyzed this for days. does it mean the k800i is the one to get for general cameraphone purposes? Does SE plan to come up with a 640x480 30fps video too?
