Well I was a happy and proud owner of Nokia N95 for almost 2 years. It was all going pretty smooth until my microphone starting giving me some problem. So I visited one of the local Nokia Support Centre. After waiting for almost 2 hours in a queue I got my chance to talk to the technical support executive. He looked at my handset and after finding out that it was out of warranty, he asked me to go to another Nokia Support Centre. But, when I insisted, he noted my contact information and told me they (support centre) will get back to me as soon as they have tools to test the battery.
So I tried my luck at another Nokia Support Centre. But this time they simply refused to repair my handset. The reason was amazingly pathetic. They told me that as my Handset is out of warranty, Nokia has given them the right to refuse any such case.
I did not go there to get a free repair or replacement. All I wanted was to fix the minor glitch in my handset. At present I have no other option but get it repaired from a Unauthorised Support centre.
If Nokia can not ever value a customer who spent over $500 on a handset, then I am amazed what treatment would a basic handset owner would be getting. I would make sure to sell off this handset as soon I get it fixed.
My message to all my friends and relative in India is simple, sell of the damn Nokia handset before it is out of warranty or be prepared to be treating as an outcast. Thank you Nokia – India, you should get an award in customer satisfaction.

nakul.hisar.haryana, 25 Nov 2008hw can i sort out the problem of automatic off while operating??????Had the same problem. Hangs, turns off. Make sure you are running the latest firmware in your phone, v30 for n95-1. If so, and it still happens, have the phone checked. I had to have mine fixed by a tech. Mention Service Bulletin No. SB-143/04.07.08, aptly titled "RANDOM RESETS AND BOOT UP RELATED ISSUES".

From what I heard, branded sets are notorious for being way late in getting the latest firmware updates. Make sure you are getting v30.
And if the messages are being stuck in the outbox, it means that the sending failed somehow. Maybe you lose signal?

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2008Please, I have a n95 and I don't know how to put the accelerometer in it, can someone help me?You don't need to put accelerometer in it! It's already in it and you can use it if you installed a program which use it such as MovingBall
I restart my n95 to the original settings, and then it stopped working the Wi-Fi, when I try to connect it says "Internet: Unable to connect. Try again.", That happened when I restart it, it broke the Internet? If this has happened to someone and resolved, please help me! I'm desperate!
Sorry for my English
