the nokia n95 can take memory cards up to 32 gb but now the biggest card is 6 gb we have to wait :D
this is an excellent phone with lots of features ,i only worry about the slider functionality either it may spoil quickly other than that every thing is perfect .coming to the battery is quite ok it gives a talk time of around 4.5 hours and a stand by time of 187hours if and only if the phone is just switched on and left ,i tried this using a newly bought sim card.
nokia n95 is a multimedia phone you can use it as of your own choice .you can install and download various applications of your choice ,as there are various features and applications you need not use the navigation key multiple times ,you can use the dial pad to access diferent applications easily and quickly.the signal strength is good enough where ever i stay either in a tunnel or on the sea bay.you can read your office documents using the quick office software,
So I had my N95 for exactly 4 days.
It went back to the repair center for a new battery, new charger, tightented contacts for charging terminals and a new camera.
My phone had a stand by time of less than 7 hrs, and so far the new batt/ charger/ contacts seems to be helping.
I complained about the camera being blurry and downright horrible. The techs looked at it, replaced the camera and said that it was fine.
Looking at the pictures from gsmarena's review, I said absolutely no way it was normal. I didnt buy it. The folks at nokia said too bad, and sent me on their way.
I swear, 5mp not even close. My sony K790 with a 3.2MP cam takes photos that are 100X better.
I only got this phone because of the GPS feature. But i have a feeling i will be selling this phone soon.
Im thinking whether I should get a N95, N95 8GB, N81 8GB or N76. Camera doesnt matter to me. I see no practical use for a 5Mpix camera, so 2Mpix is more than enough for me. But I want that DVD-like quality video recording & TV out. Thats awesome. Music matters most for me. N95 has all of these but its software is kind of outdated already. Plus Im afraid of N95's loose slider. The N76 has better audio quality through the 3.5mm jack, faster processor, larger RAM, newer software & cheaper than N95 but doesn't have GPS, HSDPA, WiFi. Well, who needs GPS that takes ages to work? Huh? But N95 again has stereo speakers but not so impressive audio quality through 3.5mm jack. N95 8GB has everything, except the fastest processor, but it's too pricey. N81 8GB is just so cool. Its the perfect slider Ive seen. I think its perfect for music. I just hope that its sound through 3.5mm jack is the same as N91 cuz N91 has the best audio quality so far. But N81 8GB has no TV out, HSDPA. I dont care about GPS. I wont be needing that. N95 & N76 both support 4GB & 6GB microSDHC cards. N95 8GB & N81 8GB has already large built in memory. N76 has better sound than N95 at least through 3.5mm jack. N95 has more extra features than N76. They say N81 8GB has same audio quality as N91. But it's not yet out so nobody can really confirm. N95 8GB is just too ambitious. Im really torn. Which is which?
also did 4gb card come with something else so your phone would accept it. thank's.
PUrM. Can you tell me if the 4 gb card sped up your phone as it has been said that it does. where did you get it from and how much.
N95 does support 4GB and 6GB cards (no 8GB cards out yet, but soon) - this is confirmed by many owners (I have had a 4GB MicroSDHC card in mine since July, works perfectly).
I expect that N95 will be compatible with ALL the MicroSDHC format cards, as they all use the same technology. This can only be confirmed 100% as they come out though and owners test them.
Just Bought this cell phone from www.sale-on-line.com
The best cell phone ever. 1 Year warranty and 1 GB mini SD included.
dotsis.com is down and has been for a week!
Anyone know of a good alternative for symbian software?
has anyone tried the higher capacity batteries available on ebay?
do they work or not?
just sold my n95-1 and bought the N95-3 US 3G version. The battery is much better and the 128mb of ram they stuffed in works great. the phone runs smoother and faster overall. no more memory full error messages. so far so good
I completely agree... nokia should make a new battery for this phone... improving the battery life...
does nokia N95 support 4gb and 8gb micro sd's???...please do reply...
don't know why people buy N series when it always hangs and make you wait for years to do a simple thing. :(

very cheap materials, loose slider, plastic is maybe 99c in the stores..so what, if it has a GPS ?...most time it restarting by it self, wi-fi works really bad, and now i have IPHONE....
PEOPLE please. IF you spend this much money on it and you like the n95 but are upset because of the battery, just buy an extra battery and keep it with you fully charged of course, or buy a car charger if you drive. i don't have all these battery issue's and i use it a fair bit during the day. you have to expect that a phone that has all these features if used a lot during the day will wear down on the battery, so JUST POP IN A NEW FULLY CHARGED BATTERY.
