I'm very happy to announce that I've made my permenent phone the N95. I've never had any problems ever and none so far with this new handset. I also have to say that the N95 american 8GB version has been approved by the FCC so North Americans will be able o get their hands on one soon.
Nokia have now just released the Nokia N95-3 an it looks a total improvement from the first N95 but its only available in the U.S.A why have Nokia just made it available for the Americans, its unlocked an hope it will work o.k in Europe i will try my best to find a website so i can buy the N95-3 as the N95 with 8gb of Memory will be really expensive i bet from Nokia.,www.nokiablog.com is the place to see the new N95-3 review an pictures an it looks really good
Is the sound quality of the phone better than the Nokia N91? Is video and photo capabilities better than those of the LG Viewty? Please someone tell me
i m planning to buy n95 but confused between n95 nd n92. guyz plz tell me that is the n95 has dvb.thanks in advance.
cool handset with lot of features including carlzeiss 5 megapixel but poor battery life. .i am using it and i am impressed with all its features specially maps and gprs speed is brilliant.magneficent mobile n95 ,nokia will always remain no 1.
Got my phone last month and was using it for less than two weeks when its sytem hanged. I cannot operate the phone anymore. I brought it to a Nokia Care Center last Oct. 7 and after a series of tests, they told me that the unit's motherboard needs to be replaced. I don't know if it's factory defect but it took me one month before it is repaired. Tonight I'm going to get it from Nokia Care and I'm excited because I want its many features. My only comment is that it requires charging almost everyday but that's not a problem with me. It also slides easily even if not intended as when I'm inserting it in my pant's pocket. Overall, I still lovew my N95 very much. I hope the system will not hang again.
Its an excellent device. Best so far with performance and features. The only down side is batter which is consumed faster since it is drained if you are heavy user. I have to keep an extra Nokia 1100i for business calls for longer talk time.
Build quality could be better and the os has it's limitations but all in all the n95 is a good handset.P.S. drop the 'best phone in the world'...power users would rate some WM6 as the best,a trendsetter might rate a prada as the best. Each to their own!
I am amazed by how many people have all this issue with this phone.I have this baby for about 3 months now and everything works alright, listen to mp3 for about 30-40 minutes a day, usage of blutooth, take a few shots and my battery lasted till the next day
if not aleast till night time.so it seems like everyone got a different n95 ,anyway
BEST phone ever.
by the way, to the guys who always sour grape, just buy urself a nokia 5110 or a SE T200.sure u will have no problem with this phone.
i have my n95 bought it in an authorized store.no problem at all!every thing in the world deteriorate.its up to you on how u
take careof ur things to last it longer.if u take CENTRUM everyday becoz its complete,so as i carry this phone to make my day complete.
Its about time nokia think more of the phone side feature. They advertise n series as a computer, but this is a phone. A phone is used to make phone calls and must have long standby hours to be useful. Ashame nokia.
I can have mine on all day in standby mode from 6:15 am in the morning till when i come home from work at 5:00 pm and still make a few phone call's, bluetooth on, go on wi fi for 5 minutes, listen to 2 song's and the phone be down maybe 1 maybe 2 bar's.
Excellent phone. Amazing features. One major problem though, the battery lasts about 6 hours tops when in standby mode, and far less when the phone is actually used.
This is after 2 battery replacements, extensive check up of the phone in Nokia's lab (working as intended), and a user that knows how to make sure there are no open applications and how to switch off the wifi and the bluetooth. Since I can't walk around all day with a charger, the phone gets a big thumbs down from me for the sheer reason I need a phone that actually stays on at least from morning to nightfall.
this is a nice fone.you will never regret if you buy this unless if you buy this to unauthorized mall.very nice cam, video, sounds, even watching movie, very fast browser, easy to press key, executive look, nice wifi and gps, light and not so big,its looks like big because the screen is big.
I have been having this phone for about 5 months now. n i must say i m not very pleased!!! i bought a nokia aftr lke 6 yrs.. i had a sony ericsson w800i(which was quite gud) and motorola razr v3i(not very user friendly but a gr8 phone). regret selling my razr for this nokia n95.
the phone's waorst part is its battery life cause it jst seems 2 run out of juice evrytime u really wud need it. nvr bought a car charger in my life but had 2 for n95 cause the battery is just so bad., It also hangs so much tht u jst HAVE to reove the battery 2 reboot it properly n the worse part is it hangs wen smeone is callin in. thts quite embarassing... the camera it boast of 5 mega pixel is not all tht gud nyways. the auto focus seems 2 have a mood of its own of wen 2 hve the square green so tht the pic is of gud quality. wlan is also quite difficult 2 use... othr fetaures r jst ok... aftr 5 months i plan on selling it shortly n buyin the new motorolla razr as i feel i jst wastd my money on a nokia again n i dnt think i will buyin nokia in the future nyways... ys it is more user friendly compared 2 the othr phones but i guess this is the only things gud it canboast about... gud luck othr users of nokia i m of 2 join the motoroalla community again....
Nokia N95 is nearly perfect but I though it would have a more powerfull sound effect & volume with or without earpiece!! Can someone suggest any earpiece for me to buy?
To the guy who is wanting to buy the n95 or the i phone. buy the n95. to me the i phone suck's. i phone= no video recording, 2 meg camera not 5. no voice dialing on i phone, no 3.5 input to connect to car stero's. battery has to be replaced by the company and a few other thing's. N95 is a much better choice.
