N95 you are excellent but a few people can afford u I should just tolerate my sonyericsson w700
Kailas senan. Sim card behind the battery. yeah, like in every other phone i've used. that sound's like a pretty serious issue there, NOT. you threw it into the dustbin, sure. more like you sold it.
Kailas Senan. I don't think i've even had any of these issue's you are talking about. if all these problem's exist the phone wouldn't sell. keypad to small, not quite. look at keypad of n73. bluetooth to slow, that's a bunch of crap. battery problem's, not with mine. wi fi user friendly. phone is 2gb, but now you can use 4 gb sdhc.
I have used N95 for 5 months, thrown to dustbin.
N95 really SUCKS...
1)No Touch screen with huge price
2)Battery backup less than a day, if you use wlan/mp3
3)Application manager hangs the phones several times
4)sis support not there.
5)No USB charging, only thr 230v supply, cannot charge ur cell from laptop.
6)Bluetooth paring is too slow n transfer speed is too slow.
7)Camera lens is not covered in new N95, Old one have a projected cover.
8)Accessories are too costly.
9)keypad will get loosen very fast, no life for the keypad, nokia have to do some thing for this.
10)Not user friendly for browsing net in wireless lan.
11)Poor battery life
12)No option to kill the application, if the phone hangs, u need to remove the battery to reboot.
13)Sim card is behind the battery.
14)Can't turn off the network when phone is switched on.
15)small keypad make it difficult in typing.
16)Calender entry is not as user friendly
17)Overall performance is low compared with its competers.
18)Battery backup only 2 days. Talktime 4 hrs. Mp3 only 5 hrs. Please no one go for this mobile

I sell these things. Very expensive, and us Irish aren't crazy about spending money, but it's a boys toy, so it sellsd pretty well.
It's a brick though
add to that. mine is a touch screen! oh ha! the real n95 is not a touch screen phone but mine is. hehehhe....(*,*)
i love my phone. it was a gift from my mom.
i have nokia 95 and its exactly like this one but sad to say that its not genuine. my phone was a fake version but from finland. I heard there are a lot of fake n95 from china. mine is fake but unlike china the camera is good. everything is good except that the imei is not true.
had n95 too more than 2months now.i love my phone.i dont have any problem.only the battery but its ok for me.this is only advice.dont install many application to your fone.its coz many problem.even a theme.
Have had N95 about 2 months. Operating system is ok but it is not as good as windows mobile 6. First major problem was squeaking speaker when on calls. Found fix on net after Nokia denied issue. Used pin and poked it in the two holes in the ear piece mesh. This makes a clicking noising and if you do it firmly a number of times problem goes away. Also for price of phone not enough free software. Key board could also be better and wifi is slow. Lastly camera is slow to allow you to take another photo. Rate it 5/10
i wanted an iphone yesterday but i guess this phone is just above its class.it has every feature that this generation can think of except for touch screen(uhhh, not again).
i definitely feel this is better than Iphone.
what do you think guys?
i need your opinion since im buying a phone tthis month.cheers!
The on switch is at the top of the phone mate. its a black button. hahaha
I have been selling mobile phones for 5 and a half years....and i currently own the N95 - and its an AWESOME handset. So many features. Proven to be very reliable. :)
Hi, I just want to know is it true that this cell phone measures 110 decibels ?
I found that the N73 speakers were super loud, and I checked the internet and it said that the N73 is 85 decibels.
Could it be that the N95 is that much louder than the N73 ?
I really need to know this.
we are talking about 2 different things. yes you don't need the network to lock on but i i'am talking about paying for your navigation. what's this route 66 and free gps, is this in the usa. how do you get free navigation without openbit.
we are not talking about tracking we are talking about navigation! go on your phone on map's then press on for extra services and then for navigation follow thru with that and i guarantee you can't pay for your navigation without choosing an internet site. how is open bit going to put navigation on your phone without the internet. they find your particular n95 thru the internet. as i said before i have paid for my navigation this way for 3 month's in a row now. choosing the internet site has got nothing to do with downloading your map's it has to do with paying for your navigation!!!!!
navigation is not free, but tracking is if u have the 1st version of nokia maps. L berek is right just press no on internet connection but your gps will take longer 2 lock on. U can get free gps with route 66 and use inbuilt gps. It works ok but not 10/10
Limberg berek. i'am not trying to make you look bad or anything, but with my nokia n95 i downloaded the map's using nokia map loader. then you have to pay a company called open bit, which is done thru wi fi on your n95 and open bit ask's you to choose an internet connection and you then have to pay for your navigation with a credit card. navigation is not free. i'am doing this on a monthly plan at 14 canadian dollars a month, so i know what i'am talking about. there is no other way to get navigation without open bit.
My NOkia N95 just turned off today and I am trying to turn it back on it's now working. I just got it few days ago and i am out of town therefore i don't have my manual with me. Can someone tell me how to turn it back on?
