The 5pm camera is really 5pm. not software needed.
And why listen to the sales department from another company talking about the N95? Obviously they're gonna dis the phone cause they want you to buy an 02.
And Canadian HSDPA is actually 2100 so... That new model is only good in america
shut up and stop lying SE better than nokia.just bow down to nokia N95 ultimate king of communicating
New variant of Nokia N95! Compatible only with AT&T's 3G/HSDPA frequency 850/1900 MHz, 128 MB of RAM, increased 1200 mAh battery. This will actually be the U.S. version of the N95. Therefore it's not compatible with Europe/Asia 3G networks. The 1200 mAh battery cannot be inserted in the original N95 because it's larger in size. The U.S. version of N95 has undergone some design modifications to fit the 1200 mAh in the device.
this fone is still the best there is for nokia..hopefully nokia will produce more 5mp fone..n do upgrade a lot in the battery life..
i av this fne n its a 5mp camera av compared it wiv a 2 mp n its well betta n i compared it wiv a 3 n its still better so i fink its a 5 lol......jay
can anyone help me out, i've been trying to get the best deal for a new N95, obviously i dont wanna pay for it and would like to stick with O2.
but the geezas at o2 have twice told me not to bother with this phone, with one guy saying the camera is the equivalent to a 3 megapixel and the other guy said you have to increase the pixels with some software of something and its actually a 2 meg????
this is there sales dept so i was willing to give them some business but they both slagged it off.
whats this software issue? is the camera really 5 meg.
most of the reviews on this site have been positive to wicked
so, has anyone got any independant camera reviews. is it worth a punt or what cos i really like this phone and these s0ds are putting me off.
help me please guys
New N95 battery being released soon but it just seems for the USA N95 but i hope we get it the U.k soon ,i bought one off Ebay just to see if it last longer or not,Not long now to get the new mobiles being released by Nokia on the 29th August i will then hope the 7.2 megapixel camera mobile being rumoured around will be released or the N95i
this N95 is a very very lousy phone within 18 days i send it to the service centre 5 times change the Lcd 2 times change the motherboard 2 times upgrade software 1 time and it is still giving me problem it will suddenly go blank while using it turns black screen with light and i cant off the phone i have to remove the battery put back and wait for the next alarm clock to goes off b4 it can be on again
It is really a very stupid phone i bought it for $1243SGD and now the trade in price only $400SGD
Madpanas, are you certain about the "new N95" with 128MB RAM, VGA display and 1200mAh? Where did you attain your info from?? Furthermore, if there is really a new N95, will it house the GPS Sirf Star III chipset??
Yah you can download the maps via your pc and then transfer them over USB. That's how i did it. I wouldn't even consider using GPRS or even EDGE for that matter... the map DL's are HUGE. I've got over 1GB of maps on my phone... but that's cause i travel a lot.
Sorry i should have explained my question better. i know that you can actually get the maps free but what i was wanting to know is if ther is a way on the N95 to get the mapping without going through the GPRS because this costs and goes ontop of a cap. But with the NOKIA 6110 nav phone you can turn off an option on the phone so that you do not get used for using the mapping. ???
Own both, Nokia N95 and Sony Ericsson K800I. Yes, N95 can do more stuff, but...
1) battery is really bad
2) software is still too fresh - keeps freezing
3) GPS isn't really that accurate
4) voice quality on SE K800I is by far better than on N95.
5) even though N95 has a better camera, you won't be able to tell the difference between both - quality is the same.
So... for those who are geeks - go with N95, but make sure you have extra 2-3 batteries with you. For those who need a PHONE - SE is the choice!
Just my two cents.
hi all 95 users , i have been using this device since 3 months and i regularly update my phone software presently my ver. is 12.0.013 and i am surprised to see that the battery backup has been increased a little after the update, this device is the best model of the nokia till date very light ,handy and elegant ,the camera is really good and esp. the video cam is a real handy cam ,the videos are of very good quality and now the price has also dropped to just 27,500 rupees so grab ur hands on this fine cell thanks
im using n95 for 3wiks now.when ive got dis,d only problem ive seen is d batery life.wow dude only 8hrs and its empty.i cant beliv it.but im curious bcoz its brandnew and maid in finland.myb ders a rison.i dont know wat i did.im just always observing l8ly.and now d batery life can take more dan 1day.so im comfortable now.normal use only.great fon.great camera.nice keypad.
In my opinion, the difference between the n95 and the n93i lies in its size.
The N93i is HUGE. MASSIVE. watever, you want to call it. It's essentially a camcorder that rings. That being said, the N93i does take better photos than the N95 despite the reduced mega pixels, mostly because of the size of the lens and because the N93i boasts 3x optical zoom.
I still picked the N95 over the N93i because of its size and also because of its features like the built in GPS and the newer version of symbian. The video quality on the N95 is, of course, inferior to the N93i quality, but not by as much as you might think. N93i video quality isn't THAT amazing. The dual slider is also really cool (although the N93i's turning screen is also equally cool) and having dedicated music buttons is awesome.
IMO, N93i would be an awesomely perfect phone, if it werne't so HUGE.
To madpanas,,do u mean wvga display,,wga display is a type of display window within the screen of windows a sort of pop up display,,anyway chap below about color of n95..when i got my n73 it plum aod when i got my n95 contract it was plum but maybe the sand color will go better against the silver front its up to you but the easiest part of the n95 to replace it just pops off.My 1350mA batt now lasts about 25-30% loger on 7th charge so wether thats a huge advantage i dont know but i can relax a bit more now as it easy gets me thru my day in gsm mode most of time,,I hav no car i use train but have used gps in foot mode aod it does help but you do need to scroll and as with all screens in bright sun its hard work,I still regret not buying the samsung z710 sim free from expansys, its jurt what i want a clamshell just that shape and style,,maybe samsung will bring out rumthing like it with symbian and if they do im sold ,,the nokia effort has too many probr including the most important to me vid record/playback plus other probs and the only way to get my fave fone is to move to japan or south korea !!
Hello guys, plz help me to decide to buy N93i or N95..i'm not able to find much difference in
two phones...if someone has used both the phones can help me to decide which one to buy
ur opinions will be appreciated
To all people asking about Color Schemes,
The Plum is the most typical of Nokia phones. The Sand is the second most common and it looks really good, it goes very well with the silver. The black is the most rare, it looks a little odd on a Nokia N series phone like the N95. There is also pink but that was a limited color. In my books it goes like this,
You can change them very easily, have a look on YouTube to see a vid of it.
