it is the best available smart phone on market for the time being. For sure battery is an issue but honestly...not even a gps dedicated WM pocket pc can last for more that 3-5 hours without charging or my laptop searching or even connecting to WiFi lan and browsing for more. Among others N95 is a gsm phone so it has a gsm antenna consuming battery all the time. So I disagree with comments such as its battery does not last!common guys what would you expect from this device!
This is for Nadia,
This phone is not the best if you realise as a whole.
Be realistic or may be you are not capable to realise it.
Keep in mind I am a nokia lover and have many nokia phones.
This is in reply to sarah's question You can get the world maps for free from the nokia website You need to download the nokia map loader software and plug your phone to the computer and transfer the maps across There you go nice and easy and whats more its free!!Cheers This phone is beautiful Could do with a better battery though But I aint complaining considering all the things packed into this baby....
Hey can any one tell me if there is any way to make the maps free on the N95?? or how much the maps costs with the phone compoany 3?? i know with the NOK6110 nav phone you can make the maps free i just wanna know if you can with the n95. cheers
Right guys... I had one for 3 days and then exchanged it to an HTC S710. Happy since then. The extension power cord I gave back to the shop. :P
"I have a DivX player on my Nokia N95. I want to know how can I than get DVD and VCD videos on my phone running."
You can watch 10 minutes and then better find a power plug... Hahahahaha...
Man... A GOOD phone works at least 3 days without charging! And that while calling, surfing the web, listening music at the same time and also playing almost the whole day!
battery battery. didn't you people investigate this phone b 4 you bought it,like on this site. i did and i don't have all these issues with the battery. i can still make calls during the day, play some music, gps a few times and so on. i leave for work at 6:15 and get back at 5:00. maybe i'am down 2 bars. no big deal. maybe you use it alot more than me. in that case buy a second battery, pop it in when you need it and stop whining or a car charger.
hi shahid. That is a good point what you made. I think this is a tricky one cos some swear by n95 while others hate it. Me personally only get nokia if they free, cheap or my wife likes them. I only got this phone cos a mate sold it 2 me dirt cheap and now i think its almost the best phone i have owned. Mine is made in finland i wonder if thats why mine is reliable?
The N95 SUCKS!! i have had three of them and not on lasted more than a week. The other downside is that you have to buy navigation as an extra. At the pribe of this phone it should come full house.Who's ever heard of a phone that has to charged twice a day!
..hi,da software version of my n95 is V 10.0.018 RM-159 but i noticd tht da pixels in the fonts in this software version are quite visible n relatively smaller in the standby screen(e.g. operatorlogo) than da 1's wit a different software version..is it bcoz of da software..pls help..thnx
only nokia could build a phone that drains battery power for fun, the battery technology isn't availible for what they wanted to acheive, and when are they going to stop using the crap os's they have, if a nokia can last 6 months without a problem these days it wants putting in a glass case and should be on display for the world to see!
And how on earth is the xenon flash going to help me when filming ? ? ? The N95 has a super handy cam build in ! Also if I take pictures further then 5m or less then 1 the xenon flash is useless. In my opinion the Led flash is more suited for a cell phone. If necessity asks for a 'xenon' flash then I might just as well use my dedicated "BIG GUN" :)
