I have just bought a n95 and its been great,
the camera is amazing(it finally has a lens cover),the vids recording is superb, the screen is bright and huge and the speaker has good quality.
At the start I wasn't sure of purchaseing this phone because of some bad comment from people in the forums, but after I got it the phone is so amazing.
Just one question, how can I put a full screen photo on the wallpaper in n95??any help will be great....THXXX
had this phone nearly a month now sent back 2 times kept crashing and painfully slow. pointless having all these features when battery life is pathetic and im growing tired of charging my phone every day sumtimes twice a day. i thought the phone was smaller when i ordered it but the same brick size of all nokias plus looks so cheaply made so plastically. Not impressed with phone and dont no what possessed me to switch to nokia in the 1st place.
nokia is d best.u dont deserve dis fon if ur alwys complaining.and maybe u cant afford.hahaha! ive got 5 words fo you... this fone is the best...yahooo....
I just remember N7650 when it was released in the market. Consumers are so crazed about the hype of the N7650 phone. It is like your famous for having such phone. N95 is something like this, it's all but a hype to the consumers. There will always be better phone than this and I will surely wait for that one. For now, even the voting results is really quite high for a phone, the negative opinions keeps getting more and more by the day. I have tested N95 for a couple of days, it is a good phone. But if you are talking the price against the performance and built which is normally you buy in a phone, unless you are fashionista, that doesn't care about the price of the phone since most of them are filthy damn rich, you will not mind if it is working at full or just showing it to your envious friends. Bottomline, the price vs. its performance is really not worth it, unreasonable and too pricey... Ciao!
Sold mine and got the K810 and will wait for the K850. Bad battery, bad too much compressed photo and darn slow. I read a review that convinced me to sell this poor built (plasticky brick) fone.
I read this review on N95 and K850. Here are some statements on conclusion. You can read it here http://www.mobile-review.com/review/sonyericsson-k850-cam-en.shtml
If you value truly photographic quality of snaps – look no further, this model has no alternatives. In all conscience I have to admit that the Nokia N95 over the past 6 months has become the most popular 5 Mpix equipped device, but the Sony Ericsson K850i is not only on its heels, it also surpasses it in the imaging department.
The time has proven that both Nokia’s and Sony Ericsson’s offerings became sought-after and had own followers. But after all, if you are looking for the best imaging department today – it all in the Sony Ericsson K850i.
For photo enthusiasts. You decide to buy now this and regret buying this or wait for the real 5meg mobile phone.
Anybody out there can confirm that the N95i (music edition) has a 2.8" screen? What about the N97, does anybody know if this is already a touchscreen? If somebody has a picture of these Nokia models, please post in this forum. Thanks
Man i love this phone, i don't know what you guy are talking about but this phone is the greatest phone i have ever had. If you think this phone is crappy then don't buy it but i had it and i love it and i am keeping it and when this phone break on me, i will definitely buy myself another one of this baby.
I get pda essentials every month and sumone earlier was asking if you can use n95 as webcam,,well in this months edition it can it says go to www.warelex.com and its a two week trial version, from skimming thru the article one connection option is thru bluetooth but im not going to use this app but others may appreciate this info
ive always wanted to buy this phone, but yesterday one of my friends got it n i got to play around wit it for a while... n this is the conclusion i came down to... first off u gotta understand i was crazy bout this fone,, but after yesterday i think its really crap, the only thing worthwhile is the camera, other than that i dont think anyone gives a damn bout the GPS... the feel is average, the design is not great... i wouldnt advice anybody on getting this phone... waste of money !!!
Had the phone three days, sent it back.very clumbersome, big phone really ,so why are the keys so small ,and anything on them even smaller ?.
This is a high end of the market phone,( not cheap )so why does it have to be so dated in its layout and looks. If Nokia want the young market to go for this phone ( and as we all know thats were the customers are ) ,then bring it into this century.
Its so old !!!Shame, good camera, rubbish battery time, the gps did work .they say only outside ok what if its raining ? texting, and finding your way around the phone is very long winded.Could go on but better not.
Sorry Nokia ,but think its time to get some new designers in, and instead of making a phone that you want us to have ,make one that we the customers want.
n97 has 20 gb hard drive and up to 24 h music playback
4 h battery talk time
its the best i dint see wi fi on it
What is the point of Nokia releasing the N97 when it has less optical zoom than the N93 and N93i?? This is a step backwards not forwards. We should be looking at 5* optical zoom and beyond. I have heard that the so called N95i will not have GPS. If this is true it will be another step backward because consumers crave for an all-in-one device that includes GPS. Rather than leave out GPS, why don't Nokia improve the chip eg by using the sensitive SiRF Star 3 ? As for the possible N82 I hope Nokia consider the two aforementioned points. Furthermore phones with big screens (higher than 2.4 inches diagonally) need sharper displays ie 640*480 pixels for normal screens(4:3) eg i-mate ultimate 8150 (2.6 inches) and 800*480 for widescreen (16:9) eg Toshiba G900. The N95 should really have a 640*480 screen because it is 2.6 inches. One has only to compare the N93i screen to the N95. The N93i has a much sharper screen because it is smaller but has the same resolution. One more point: it is better for the N95 to weigh 20g more but have a stronger battery than to weigh less with a weaker one. Incidentally N97, N95i, and N82 are not listed on Nokia's official website.
Well, its not quite a sturdy phone, the other features are excellent, the camera quality will flabbergast u, but still i cant choose betn this or the i phone.
