Had the phone three days, sent it back.very clumbersome, big phone really ,so why are the keys so small ,and anything on them even smaller ?.
This is a high end of the market phone,( not cheap )so why does it have to be so dated in its layout and looks. If Nokia want the young market to go for this phone ( and as we all know thats were the customers are ) ,then bring it into this century.
Its so old !!!Shame, good camera, rubbish battery time, the gps did work .they say only outside ok what if its raining ? texting, and finding your way around the phone is very long winded.Could go on but better not.
Sorry Nokia ,but think its time to get some new designers in, and instead of making a phone that you want us to have ,make one that we the customers want.
n97 has 20 gb hard drive and up to 24 h music playback
4 h battery talk time
its the best i dint see wi fi on it
What is the point of Nokia releasing the N97 when it has less optical zoom than the N93 and N93i?? This is a step backwards not forwards. We should be looking at 5* optical zoom and beyond. I have heard that the so called N95i will not have GPS. If this is true it will be another step backward because consumers crave for an all-in-one device that includes GPS. Rather than leave out GPS, why don't Nokia improve the chip eg by using the sensitive SiRF Star 3 ? As for the possible N82 I hope Nokia consider the two aforementioned points. Furthermore phones with big screens (higher than 2.4 inches diagonally) need sharper displays ie 640*480 pixels for normal screens(4:3) eg i-mate ultimate 8150 (2.6 inches) and 800*480 for widescreen (16:9) eg Toshiba G900. The N95 should really have a 640*480 screen because it is 2.6 inches. One has only to compare the N93i screen to the N95. The N93i has a much sharper screen because it is smaller but has the same resolution. One more point: it is better for the N95 to weigh 20g more but have a stronger battery than to weigh less with a weaker one. Incidentally N97, N95i, and N82 are not listed on Nokia's official website.
Well, its not quite a sturdy phone, the other features are excellent, the camera quality will flabbergast u, but still i cant choose betn this or the i phone.
to pgir.at the end of year or first quater of next2008 will release nokia n97 whit 20gb hard and 2.8optical zoom.i hope that battery to will at minimum 1500mah.i have information about nokia n99 at and of 2008,but is rummers yet and dont know cpu and another parametrs.

just heard that the N95i is being released 08/10/07 - apparently nokia have pulled their finger out and enhanced the battery life on this device - yipee!"
I work for o2 personally in o2 customer service and our agents are trained just fine thankyou very much!
Must download new firmware 12.0.013. i cant imagine n95 to be this fast after update. very quick responce. if u know how to update firmware u must do and feel the new experience. GPS locking is faster
What is the best camera-phone that is out already or the one that is coming out soon?
Australian buyers WAIT. N95i coming out in October. Telstra Next G compatible, better maps and fixed most of the bugs (current model has bad battery and high failure rate)
n93i is old phone it is outdated after the release of n95 n95 has all superb features and it is a small multimedia computer with powerful digital camera n95 is the king of all the mobiles i adive u to buy the n95
hey guys if u always complaining d batery, dis is my advice.u dont deserve dis celfon.u know wat,buy celfon dat has no camera,mp3.lyk d nokia 1100.dats long life batery ok?if u got problem, just sell ur fon and just buy 1100 or 1112 or 1110i.ok?im sick & tired reading complains...of cors if ur always using ur fone, its normal ur batery geting fast low.dont use ur celfon, let see d batery will take longer life...
this phone is a piece of crap, i mean the battery life is really useless and that makes this phone a piece of cra. and its not worth it if you use this phone for 2 hours straight with only listening to music.I mean the se phones are phones and the the saying of (the n95 is what have computer become?) thats a typo.... there are a lot of functions inside this phone but the quality of it is not that great.Ive been a nokia user for about 2 years and ive experienced all about nokia phones... and now im useing the sonyericsson w950i and its quite superb with quality even though without the camera.
i rate this phone a 5 out of 10
sorry nokia but nokia has to step up a notch in quality of their phones because they can say that all of their phones have a lot of qualitys, but the truth is that the quality of the phone is not good...and im saying this for the truth and you know all of the nokia users also know about it.so whoever is saying that the upcoming k850i and w960i sux.. theyre deffinitely wrong because the n95's quality in the phoine will not be as good as the se phones.
i also have a problem with the n95
it keeps on lagging but the buttons are cool when you slide the slider down for the media buttons.but hey it restarts on me while im making a call or when im texting and its really irritating. The sliding mechanism is not that great and theres no beainrgs or a spring supported on this phone and the desing is so (euck) so all of you guys on deciding on what phone to get, i prefer the soney ericsson w960i for music and the k850i for camera.these phones are gonna be the crown of all jewels later in the future when they come out.So nokia watch out for sony ericsoon, theyre developing theyre mobile technology really more advanced than nokia crap phones.
this phone is the most entertaining fone i have purchased in 9 yrs.It delivers on all features which are all top of the range. The variable font size and decent size screen which can also be used widescreen is superb to use, this fone is really cool cool
for better battery untick all the gps methods in positioning. I dont use my gps much so i have it off unless i need it. Also i get problems with t-mobile uk when i use 3g with calls, windows live messenger and email. When i have dual mode or umts selected it takes very long to connect to any of the above services. But when i use gsm it all works very well and save a lot of power. I smell a rat t-mobile. Anyway i now get a day and a half with theret 2 settings de-activated
Instead of a comment I have a question for users:
1.- Is vedeo recording very good, I mean really 30 fps or not?
2.- When you use GPS the gadget has to connect to internet? If so, can you select HSCSD access point instead of another?
3.- Maps of Mexico`s motorways come by default or not?

Just read a review of the Sony Ericcson K850 an compared to the N95,i am definetly keeping the N95,the cameras on both models are about equal par,but you do not buy a mobile just because of the camera, its the functions on the mobile an ease of use,an Nokia to me never be beaten reguarding this there mobiles are the simpliest to use thats why the are the best seller, only one thing they have got to stop doing on there expensive mobiles is putting rubbish battery lifes on there mobiles,i have seen a few photos of the N95i an check its battery life before i decide to buy it or wait for the N82 i am sure will be relesed in the 4th quarter of this year
