lol@u!!! tell your customers to buy a sim-free N95 and you wont get any of them complain!!(in the nokia repair centre i WORK IN, we have had 3 sim free back VS 392 network locked and people buy this phone for many reasons, i agree a lot cause they are nobby posers, but some people like me buy it cause it does everything i need and suits my lifestyle. please dont generalise, it makes you look stupid on forums
Does anybody experienced that some of the pics taken become up-side-down (about 1/10), is it a defect of the camera or it got virus after using wifi on internet
the battery life on this phone is none existent ye the camra is good but evry thing els is bad bad bad!!
I WAS LOOKINg FARWARD TO GETTING THE N95 NOW I HAVE IT. WHAT A disappointment!! the phone is slow and keeps on frezzing i have had the phone for 2 weeks and am on my 4th handset alredy and i keep haveing the same problems
I think all reasonable people accept that GPS on the n95 can't match gps on some pda phones etc.If the fanboys care to research the differing chipsets they might not make quite so many absurd comments.
I installed the update for the N95 nokia maps and its freakin fast!!! I get a lock on to the gps in about 25 seconds!!! and while i was on the bus, it was freakin following me! this is freakin crazy! i love the maps app now!
check this out!
WOW!!! Finally Nokia launch a sexy black version of N95,like they done it in N73ME & N91 8GB,Great Job Nokia!
does anyone have a clue as to when the black N95 might be launched cause i love black phones?
Great phone with many features, but also have problems with it.
Comes with all the features u kinda want
Becomes really glitchy when low on battery
Odd resets from time to time
When talkin on the phone u can sometimes hear the phone dailing buttons
The GPS is poorer than sirf2 version GPS systems so long connection time and poorer reception, you also gota pay for the navigation
And a poor battery life to back it up
I got one of these, they are handy for kinda like an emergency backup (camera and gps) but do tend to die out quick and I wont call it a replacment since it does not compare to the real deals.
I would reccomend just gettin a GPS with sirf3 if you are after a navigation and get a PDA phone with a decent operating system not symbian and then you can make use of the inbuilt GPS (if smart phone has one) with your tomtom or other navigation applications

or tell me about substance that can clean it
1)with britness at 75% i get 5hrs video fullscreen playback with no bluetooth on and in gsm mode,,its not bad but if you go carefull you will get a day out of it,,if using gps it will go down quicker but nokia supply an in car charger as standard
2)I am suprised how light it feels compared to my n80,,n73 and s/e p990i
3)i find camera quality good its way better than samsung d900 and n80 but video is fantastic plus im using the n95 at 3 mp as thats enuf for me plus when you first get it the screen is huge
4)gps tried it and got a lock in 3.5 minutes and it seems to store the are where you are but you d/load other maps for free,,someone else will be more into gps to explain more
5)ive had it a month or so with one crash whilst using opera mini but its dead stable to me,,using firmware 11 still
This is a question for Nokia N95 owners:
I am currently really considering this phone..like within the next few days I'll buy it..my only questions are these:
1. Do you find the battery life that poor?or is it if you charge it its fine
2. How do you as a user find the weight and size of the phone?
3. Is the camera quality great(it wont play a huge factor..but I am simply curious)
4. Are the GPS maps etc. all loaded on to the phone prior to..or do we need internet to do this
5. Last one: What is this firmware..and what woudl it help to really do on the N95? Thank you to whoever answers these questions..but as I do not possess alot of knowledge on cell phones nor have an actual model in front of me I am soemwhat playing by ear..
I want to buy a phone.I choised between the Nokia N95 and Nokia N93i.I found the the N95 is really better, but the only problem is the battery life. Can someone please give me an answer about which of these phones got the best battery life. Are they better than the Sony ericsson K850i??????
