And yet you still buy Nokias :) I think you talk utter nonsens just to scare people of ! No man (or boy) in his right mind will carry on supporting a company after so many mishaps as you pretend to have experienced. Anyway my N95 is working just fine and I would recomand it to anyone who wants a unmatched 'all arounder'.
ok , 2nd post after owning this phone for a month . camera auto focus is so bad ... just bad ... i had to half press the shuttle so many times , adjusting distance before i get a good clear focus to snap on ... but every one , the macro mode is best ! i think carl zeiss handled nokia a macro lens instead of a normal 28mm lens ! gps works fine but sucking the battery life a lot than i expected ! i had problem with the media shortcut key by the navigation button , sometimes it won't work at all ! i still have not find out why it failed to start after a certain time , but by sliding the front downwards , the menu will show exactly what the media button is preset ... overall till today , i give my n95 a 85 / 100 .

Why in GODS NAME would a N95 owner want to trade in their handset for a sony erricson? Why would we downgrade?
so ,, all ppl who bought dat crpa N95 are plaining abt da battry life,,, which is aweful. guyz sell ur n95 n wait for da new SEricsson K850 which is commin soon.. it will be worth it to sell da crap(n95).. da n95 freeze all time, it stanby time is 6hr max which is very very poor. its a half-made phne.
da phone is good,,, but da flash is still poor,, very poor,,, compared wiz the SEricsson Xenon flash!!!! N it doesnt matter cauz it haz 16m colrs. think dat the k850 pic will be better cauz its performance is like a digital cam. but not n95..!!!
excellent phone i had not faced no problems with this phone some stupid sony ericsson fans r saying all bad opinions about this phone se k850 will compulsory flllop this phone is really a wonderful phone thank u nokia
Battery sucks and after paying $ 800 which is not good. I bought it two days back and selling it today and getting Nokia E61i. I am a business user and don’t recommend N95 for business use
1) Hopelessly battery life
2) Half finished product.
3) Jack of all trades... master of none
4) Poor quality finish to overall product
best phone ever, just missing a touch screen or! a full qwerty keyboard. why nokia, why? =/
My opinion of the Nokia N95 is
Jack of all trades... master of one
The only feature that Nokia have gotten correct on this phone is the 30fps video camera.
Nokia are so stupid with their "Get it out as fast as possible" mentality they have succeeded again in releasing a half finished product.
Here is a list of failings that come to mind... I'm sure people will add to this list.
1:Hopelessly inadequate battery life
2:Loose sliders and scratches on keypad above No3
3:Poor quality finish to overall product
4:Half baked attempt at Sat Nav... How can they compete against TomTom with poor maps and $300 fees for voice activation
5:Over compressed jpeg files on the 5 meg camera giving poor quality still pictures
6:Very low volume level on FM radio when speaker activated
7:Poor quality flash on camera
8:Stupid unnecessary red light that comes on when video camera is recording
9:Often freezes and locks up
10:no privacy possible when you open up your gallery folder, everything is open for every one to see
Then to add insult to injury, we are expected to pay top dollar, $1200 plus Australian for a product that is infantile
When are Nokia going to become the Mercedes Benz of phones instead of General Motors or Ford with endless firmware updates.
Having said all this, Nokia N95 is still better than anything SE or Motorola have released, so sadly, they will maintain their No1 market position by baffling the majority of consumers with hype and a never ending stream of new models to further confuse the average consumer.
Excellent!Good sound quality, touch sensitive screen with 5 MP camera... such functions enough for a students. Anyway, this symbian phone runs slow...
