to michail.may dear fiend haw many aplications and programs you have instaled on your n95.ok new symbian no have to much programs yet.now imagine that your have 10instaled aplications and your card nave minimum 2gb musik informations.i wanna see your face after 1 year when your slider have looft, battery is weak, dispay is scratched, phone freeze and prize will 300us$.so money is so big for this thoy, expesialy i know haw good models will came at the and of this year.at last battery is so weak.
it jus sucks !!! i dunno how nokia can promote these kinda models which have every application possible but guess wat none of them work properly.try using gprs and then take a snap and see what happens, u'll know on ur own
The applications for symbian (s60) are very basic especially when compared to other platforms. It seems symbian hasn't evolved over the years, basically the os is popular due to Nokia and 8 out of 10 s60 owners have tunnel vision.N95 is wasted with that pathetic operating system!
I'm using the N95 for 1 month now and I'm very satisfied. In the beginning there were some issues regarding performance and lock-ups but after an OS update everything seems to work fine. There is only one thing that still bothers me: using the phonebook or log to call someone doesn't autmatically close the phonebook/log and thus it keeps running in the background. You have to exit manually. But still it's a GREATE PHONE !!!
Great fone but is degrading very fast. In the Philippines, it is almost half the price than last month. Now only 27K (abt 420$), I bought it at abt 580$ on the last 3 weeks. So I sold mine and will wait for k850. Its gonna be cheap considering that n95 will be around 22K or 360$ when K850 will be released. I wish n95 had an accelerometer like iPhone and K850i.
after reading most of the comments here. i've come to a conclusion that not every handset is built with the same standards. maybe there is fruad in to this like battery, memory card, covers, etc>
so i urge new buyers not to be fooled by cheap n95 that is out there and to buy original handsets from nokia dealers.
so that you would enjoy it like iam doing with oout any problems what so ever> even though not updated software. no problem
great phone, lots of features.. but symbian (on nokia phones).. oh god, nokia needs to move away from that os. speed and stability of symbian is the only reason i gave up on nokia. i had at least 15 models of nokia, starting off from 3320 and 8390 models. and still have them. but these symbian based phones are piece of junk. i moved to samsung and enjoing my U600 right now
Am writing this comment using my n95 and it is by far the best phone in the world at this point and if someone disagree please list the phone that is better then this one
good phone but in my opinion it's not a great one.The most important aspect is the os and unfortunately s60 Nokia's use Symbian which falls well short.
Guys i got a Questions..
There is a N95 sell in the Internet for 250 USD and a 30 Euros Delivery.. Its a Finland made N itz Fresh from the Box with the accessory, International Warranty for 1 year and 90 days return policy..
They say to make a order (shipment address) and make a payment to Western Union Money or Money gram bank.. They will deliver it via fedex/ups/DHL..
I just want to know Is this True? I mean N95 for 250 USD?!!
nEeD uR oPiNiOn guyz..
SE K850 is nice, I like the designed but nothing compares to this phone. And to the ppl always attacking this pphone, hey I wont hold back im buyin this phone.
My friend got this phone, first when he turned it on, she opened the slider. Then the screen went haywire from a second and screen shut off. But the rest of the phone worked. When she closed it, nothing happened, everything still worked, BUT the screen.
She went back to the store to figure out what happened, and appearantly the connection was frayed.
Nokia may have good products, but they don't have a very good manufacturing quality. It's like 1/20 people get only the resonable quality ones. I bought a nokia before, N80 and my slider wobbled which happens normally, but this was a bit more then normal. My friend's N80 had no problems.
ive actually seen the phne, its build is plasticky, in short it looks cheap, unlike the n93, the material is of high quality. in the dark you can actually see the gaps on the slide. it shouldnt be that way... im still planning to buy n95 but am really thinkinh twice if i should.... im very confused
How many times do some people have to declare it's the best phone in the world? What are you guys going to say when the HTC Kaiser is released?hmmm probably exactly the same!!Ok it's a decent device even with it's somewhat outdated hardware :-)
PS if you have many problems like the people say on here either you have a dodgy phone which can happen in any appliance or you just dont know how to use it....in which case i suggest you get the 6300 as ny 2 year old son can use that
This phone is seriously good, I own samsung p31o, 6300, 6630 & n95. I updated fw and followed a lot of tips on net, Self sign, different apps even tips on stable wifi and route66 with internal gps. This phone is so good it's unbelievable, build quality could be better, battery could last longer but the more I use this the more I love it. If you know about phones you will know they all have flaws cos it's the way things are design so the next version is better. I work for panasonic and I see it with all there goods when they leave things out etc on purpose so next time they can still make money from you. Im not a fanboy but ILL TELL YU THIS!!! My laptop use has cut dow since I got this phone
