Hey,after long SUFFERING with W800i and another SE phones,i buy Nokia 3250 because it has Symbian OS 3rd edition, its better million times than SE & Windows mobile,,,so keep it on Nokia if not N95 it must be Nokia (any thing not Nokia=BAD BAD)
You know it's funny really, i've had my n95 orange varient fromt the day orange brought it out and i have just not had any problems with it, no freezing ok once but no slow menu nudder.. i dont understand whats the problem with the other varients,,,
but to also add yes the nokia n95 is the best phone on the market.. i mean how can you compare a sek750i to a nokian95, thank god you dont work in a phone shop you would be slaughted with those kind of comments
Actually they do have!!
But it doesnt change tha fact that N95 is est mobile in the market at this moment...
n70 is has better camera than k750i and you know it...n73 has better camera than k800i....n73, n93, n93i n95 has the best video qaulity and the sound on new nokia like the nseries is way better than any sony ericsson phone....n95 and n73 have the best sound of all the phones on the market....ok ur battery is better than nokia so what and so what if it scracthes u can buy new faceplates for 12 pounds every now and then...........does SE have on OS on most phones....NO...IS THE QAULITY OF VIDEO ANY GOOD ALSO NO...THE COLOURS ON sony ericsson are pathetic only 256k colours....so the tru winner is nokia..............i cant beleive u think k750i and k800i have better camera than n70 and n73
People complaining about the phone rebooting, have you ever thought of upgrading the firmware on the phone, ive had no problems whats so ever?
I was going to post this in the SE P1 section but here goes:
I am sure this was mentioned before, but the N95 must be the most overrated phone after the unreleased iPhone. The features it does have are incredible, but what kind of power user will get a phone with no real way to do data entry? Everytime I look at the phone I am in disbelief that it has no touchscreen or qwerty keyboard.
I have no idea why SE P1 is only 802.11b (like the SE P990) but it makes no sense comparing any phone with a qwerty keyboard, touchscreen, or document editing to the N95 since the N95 is clearly not for serious business use.
This is the worst phone i have ever had, i change phone every few months and i am sorry that i took out a contract with this phone. I have had it replaced twice and for the last 2 weeks it has been in an Orange retail store.
BAD - phone reboots during calls, when it comes back on i have to use the headset.
freezes whilst sending a text
battery lasts about 1.5 days
Good - 5mp Camera,
That more or less sums up the N95, a waste of phone, plus the build quality is rubbish
Camera and features good but it crashes all the time and has a terrible battery life.
and SE P1 copied n95 macro option....they r just copying everything...soon they will steal nokia hsdpa, dvb-h, 16 mil, OS, camera everything!!
look how sony ericsson are copying nokia n95.....2.6 inch screen and 160mb memory, almost the same size(they did it on purpose to compete against n95 and n73)......and the thing i dont get how come that phone has only 256k colours...wen will sony ericsson make a phone wid 16mil colours.....
Hey just a quick question, i've seen SE Phones have the option of having video caller ID in mp4 format, does the n95 by any chance have this feature? Cud'nt find it anywhr!
to save battery life
avoid listening to wma mp4 , mp3 and 3gp is better
divx users 2 h of movie playback
avoid leaving to many application on standby by press and holding the symbian menu button press c to end app or select and exit
turn off wi fi search and bluetoot off
wi fi 3h of constantusage
a good 5 h of gsm talktime
it cans stay connected on agilemessenger connected on agile and google up to 2 days .or constant voice and msg usage 3h
with any phones with that many features carry extrqa batteries or chargers with you
battery life issue peoples how many batterys you can carry ? every phones i get i get up to 3 original battery for it . why 2 bettery " if you browse the net on 3g or wi fi use gps the camera and use the phone it has every thing + quality ennergy demanding as camera wi fi or gps + multytasking so get other batteries and salve the issue
N95... functionality, good. performance, bad!
1 week after i bought it, i went to Nokia service center to complain its 5Migapixel camera, yes its so sharp, that you can see white annoying spot on its 16million color screen! After 5 day in service center, they said they change the camera module, but still white spot are visible! Okay, I just leave as is rather that arguing to nokia guys!
other than this:
1. the multimedia key is not functioning if you have daily alarm.
2. memory card will automatic ask you to remove/eject.
3. hard to connect to gps system.
4. for most, short battery life.
5. and a lot more to mention!
Its been a month now that im using this "thing". Funny is, the price drops drastically! why???
FOR ALL N95 USERS, CHEERS!!!
if you guys want to solve the n95 problem, youll have to download an upgraded firmware wat it does it reduces the battery life use,it reduces the amount of restarting and it the phone dosent lagg at all.
all right i have all ready made my mind, and i rather buy a play station 3 than this phone, let´s face it is wayy to expencive and pleasezzzzzzzz if im going to waste almost 800$us in a phone the least i expect from it is to be in good shape and in the reality that´s not happen so correct me if im wrong but the only way for someone to buy this phone it´s in a year or something because now this pnone is full of issues
1- very low battery life.
2- 5 mega picture with NO natural colors.
3- the GPS is SIRF II not SIRF III this means that sensitivity is low.
4- the GPS can not work with other than the build in applications.
5- it freezes 2-3 times per day and you need to remove the battery to restart it.
6- the restart takes about 1-3 minutes.
7- very slow menu navigation.
8- No handwriting screens
9- no keyboard
10- no jogdial.
come on cut me some slack....
