Please any one suggest me how to change the battery or to enhance the talk time or battery life.
can anyone tell me how the slide function works on a day to day basis. I've played with one in a store and feel that it is slightly flimsy and will be prone to sliding open in my pocket, similar to the N93.
When you take a photograph on a landscape position of the unit, is there a way that when you open the photo from the gallery, it will be automatically on the landscape position without going to the menu - rotate picture - left/right? It is a bit annoying that after you have taken a photo, then open from the gallery, it is not on a fullscreen until you rotate the picture (either left or right). Pls. help!!!!
Hey I Got Nokia N95.... But the Nokia Company can change the Battery Facility it really poor for this Multimedia Computer cant... and this is the main disadvantage of this mobile... I hope Nokia will do this..
atleast nokias have and operating system symbian....sonyericsson and samsung most like 90 percent dont even have and operating system.....windows mobile is the best operating system then its symbian and then its linux......but you only neeed windows mobile if you are some business man
sorry guys ,but you are comparing the N95 to the HTC and you really are not fair.
just comparing symbian (N95) to windows mobile 5.0 0r 6.0 (HTC, I-mate, ASUS,....) is not fair, because windows mobile is by far more important, applicable ,and above all stable.
no, it is not true that symbian does not lock or freez, the true is that symbian is the worst oparating system as far as stability is concern.
moreover, symbian compared to mobile windows is complicated for simple casual users, while windows ....even a 5 year old boy can work on it.
so, please be objective and stop praising the symbian machines because someday nokia will shift into windows.
finally let me tell you the N95 cons
1- very low battery life.
2- 5 mega picture with NO natural colors.
3- the GPS is SIRF II not SIRF III this means that sensitivity is low.
4- the GPS can not work with other than the build in applications.
5- it freezes 2-3 times per day and you need to remove the battery to restart it.
6- the restart takes about 1-3 minutes.
7- very slow menu navigation.
8- No handwriting screens
9- no keyboard
10- no jogdial.
so guys the only innovation in this phone is a big screen, and even it is not that big.
so pray that the nokia engineer will reach a day to update the n95 firmware to solve these issues.

hi guys.. I am trying to download the nokia maps but it sits at 0.0% for hours and does not download anything. I left it running overnight and it only downloaded 20% of the map and appeared to hang. I crashed it and tried again, yet now I cannot get the download to start... any thoughts?
I've got mine N95 for a couple of days. Excellent display and speakers, great camera, very easy and friendly menu, reasonable weight and compact for such type of phone. Yes, battery life is unsatisfactory, but I personally can live with it. Overall impression - very favourable!
my 3250 is way louder than the n95,i have both ,the n95 is a way better phone though
nokia should have supllied 2 batterys and mounted the gps not behind the keypad,,,ive put on other forums that we dont like aerials but why dont they put a fold down one so you just pull it up when needed ?? this will improve signal and also improve battery life but no people dont like it but i love aerials especially when phome rings and you pull out aerial to answer..i give up because people are wanting aesthetics but at the cost of of good battery and signal
To all the people who thinks that N95 sucks. Consider this, an internet on your television. How? just connect your cable broadband if you have one via wifi and then connect your N95 with a television via the provided cable which has three pins. Whatever is displayed on your n95 will be displayed on television. Now that you have internet on your n95, you are surfing web on your tv. This could also be done on your friends house too. Oh! did I mention this is the first phone whose web browser is exactly like the one in your desktop. unike any other phone, n95 web browser is not optimised to have special webpages. you can surf the net the way it is. I know that the webpages would look small on your n95 but hey that is why you are attached to tv. Great reason to stop fighting with your brother.
I'm looking for a next generation phone to make the big leap...This look like a worthy contender....but i dunno if this phone will lag or slow down when i access the features..
