hello, im going to buy this phone soon....im just wondering if the speaker of the phone is good or bad......how much will you give out of 10?
That's a fair comment regarding htc making devices with better functionality and a more complete operating system. The n95 wasn't exclusively aimed at power users hence we have a stylish portable mobile that does more than enough for most people.HTC don't concentrate on camera's and such like because they know their target buyer isn't overly concerned with having a 5mp cam,on the other hand nokia know mega pixel appeals to their market. At the end of the day it depends what your looking for.
cuz the camera can't make all, be GPS, mp3 player radio, wifi (internet), smartphone and in one device. if you look for the prices of eazch devices you are saving a fortune
why pay $900 to 1200 for a 5 megapixel camera phone when u can get a 10 megapixel camera phone for under $500,check this out :http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/news/articles/story_6849.html
I have had my N95 since day one from vodafone very nice phone only problem i have had batrey life aint the best when you first get it. As your playing iwth all the fuctions but it's a great phone.
with the stupid LED flash on this phone the 5 megapixel CARL ZEISS lens on this phone ,this phone is totally useless.DOnt buy this phone for the camera ,as u will regret it dearly.
I totally agree, Meteor. I have no idea why there are people whining and moaning about the N95 - I've had it two weeks now, and it's the best phone I've ever had (And it's hard to please me)
The only downsides are:
- Battery life - Need to charge it every night if you use it regularly
- Using the camera with the flash AND zoom makes it look a little grainy
Apart from those downsides, it's perfect. Love the video quality, love the camera, love the MP3, love the calls you can make, love reading ebooks, using applications, love it all. 10/10.
Excellent phone ! Does hang now and again but no doubt this will eventually be fixed by firmware updates. Had similar thing with N73 but everything got fixed pretty quick.
I use the N73. Time to switch to N95? How should I decide? Does this Nokia also have software issues? N73 had this sms issue when the phone would hang, thanks to my dear friend Kunal I downloaded "mobile accelerator" for the N73. Now all works well.
prince zarqawi, please can you post the details of where you found out that 4Gb SDHC cards wotk with the N95.
I personally think that the e-90 communicator will be a better phone than the N-95,i cant wait to get that as well.
damn the price for this phone is really dropping fast can bet by july it'll be $700. plemis is selling it for $792 and phonesource-usa is selling for $799.. if you want to buy unlocked and unbranded i think those are good sites, plus u get a 1GB card n carrying case, when im gettin mine im gonna purchase from either of the two
No network will give out 10 replacements!I had the same problem with my n80 and after 3replacements orange uk said they would only give me a phone of similar value but not another n80,anyway I would like gsmarena to write a review when using the unit like we the users do ie put some 3rd party apps in the phone maybe a few java games, then you will see an accurate account of the problems regarding the handset rebooting. Its very poor that when you zoom in on a photo maybe load a web browser or perish the thought try to play a java game the dumb phone reboots
Good good news for all N95 owners: its is now confirmed N95 works with 4GB microSDHC cards so youll have plenty of storage for videos etc.
Hi everybody, when they say the Nokia N95's dimension volume is 90cc , do they mean that's how loud it is ?
just had to post this exact message on loads of these forums i have been moaning on, lol
i have been posting all over different forums and the main Nokia site!
i have now had 2 Nokia N95 Handsets on 02, all have been FAULTY, wobbling slider, poor workmanship, and a high pitched whining noise coming from the screen when its lit up!
i just recieved my 3rd Nokia N95 from 02 Online Network and its 100% awesome !
the delivery driver turnt up a day early! result !
NO awful wobbling slider on the right hand side like the last 2 handsets, and NO high pitch whining noise!! i cant believe it!
to all of you that have these problems, be patient and just keep sending your phones back to your Networks until you recieve a decent one!
if it takes 10 attempts, it will be worth it!
dont give up!!
you will all get it sorted !
and if T-Mobile or ANY network say NO to a change of more than 2-3 handsets, that is WRONG !!
check with someone high up!
YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER !!
MR HAPPY AT LAST !!!
What i personally think is ;
The loudest phones of the 3 are
The clearest phone of the 3 are:
P.S these are all based on my personal experiences since ive had all these phones for a month and i done exclusive testing on them in terms of sound quality, since i myself love loud and clear music. The n-91 still takes the cake man ,its the best sound around, the N-95 has alot of features so i guess it compensates thae sound quality but u can still live with that kind of sound quality, its not BAD,its not GOOD either.
