just had to post this exact message on loads of these forums i have been moaning on, lol
i have been posting all over different forums and the main Nokia site!
i have now had 2 Nokia N95 Handsets on 02, all have been FAULTY, wobbling slider, poor workmanship, and a high pitched whining noise coming from the screen when its lit up!
i just recieved my 3rd Nokia N95 from 02 Online Network and its 100% awesome !
the delivery driver turnt up a day early! result !
NO awful wobbling slider on the right hand side like the last 2 handsets, and NO high pitch whining noise!! i cant believe it!
to all of you that have these problems, be patient and just keep sending your phones back to your Networks until you recieve a decent one!
if it takes 10 attempts, it will be worth it!
dont give up!!
you will all get it sorted !
and if T-Mobile or ANY network say NO to a change of more than 2-3 handsets, that is WRONG !!
check with someone high up!
YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER !!
MR HAPPY AT LAST !!!
What i personally think is ;
The loudest phones of the 3 are
The clearest phone of the 3 are:
P.S these are all based on my personal experiences since ive had all these phones for a month and i done exclusive testing on them in terms of sound quality, since i myself love loud and clear music. The n-91 still takes the cake man ,its the best sound around, the N-95 has alot of features so i guess it compensates thae sound quality but u can still live with that kind of sound quality, its not BAD,its not GOOD either.
By the way, What is louder and clearer ?
I'm just asking because you have experience with these cell phones .
P.S: Where is the review ?

I last posted on this board when my n95 first arrived. Now have had the n95 for exactly a week.
This really is a truly impressive, surprisingly light and extremely beautiful phone. The last Nokia smartphone I had was the lamentable 3230, and after that experience I was hesitating with Symbian OS, but the n95 is lightning fast and Nokia have really impressed me with personalisation (plus, Orange have scrapped of their appalling Homescreen.app).
CAMERA - I don't know much about photography, but I have a 5MP Digital camera and its quality is noticeably better than the 5MP n95, however the phone comes very close in outdoor shots. Indoors, the flash distorts the image too much and without the flash it looks a bit grainy.
GPS - as has been noted already, the GPS takes a while to find the satellites, but once it gets a lock on, it's very impressive. The phone automatically downloads the relevant section of the world map when you search for a place - make sure you are using WLAN for this or you'll pay network charges! You only need to purchase "navigation" if you want voice commands - written instructions and tracking are built in.
GENERAL POINTS - yes, the slider is too loose, and often opens as I take the phone out of my pocket, but I can live with that! THe speaker is very loud and clear, although the quality of sound during calls is disturbed by a very slight hiss.
BATTERY LIFE IS TERRIBLE!!! In the first few days the phone could not even last 18 hours, although I barely left it alone in this time. However, even now that I am more able to resist the temptation to play, it only manages a day and a half of normal use. Effectively, this means it will need to be charged every night.
But don't let the negatives get you down. I don't mind charging a phone every night if it does so much, and it *almost* means I can sell my mp3 player and digital camera!
Hi to all n95 owners I have owned my n95 for 3 weeks already and I have been taking good care of it.Well the problem is that the sliding mechanism has a problem. It always slides up and down and its really irritating. Can anybody help me on how can I fix this problem
After reading ur comment i scrolled down to find meteors comment. ummm at no stage did he say that he owned a N95, he said he would most likely buy a N93, N93i or N95.
So maybe you should read the comments properly.
P.S if he has some other comment 6 pages in, i apologise i couldnt be bothered reading that far. But as far as i can see, he didnt ever say he owned a N95.
this shows that n91 has better quality than N95
Sonic experience – the centerpiece, where Sony Ericsson branded products are dominating. Regrettably, Nokia N95 puts up average sound quality, aimed at unsophisticated users.
to every on
THIS is what mobile-rewiew.com says:
The handset houses two stereo-speakers placed on either side of the casing. The volume they put up is slightly average, but in terms of sound quality they are far behind Nokia 6233, and don’t sound too loud, being a tad quieter than those on Nokia N73. Even though you may give it a go and use the phone as a pocketable juke box, it won’t make much sense, as with volume turned full blast you will surely notice sound distortions.
If I buy this phone in Australia do you think I can use the GPS feature in Indonesia? do they provide the map for Indonesia?
plz dont lie
u dont own a N95
u know what u want it but............
let me ask a question from u?
u have n95... ok as u say ....hmmmmm

tell me by which company it is designed and does it use google maps or not?
its a simple question honey............
