Has anyone noticed how bad the quality of the video calling camera is,very grainy.IT'S TERRIBLE!
im very disaponited with this fone i waited a long time for it n i finally got it n its crap jus like every other nokia, you pay an arm n a leg for it then u expect the sat nav to b free but u av to pay for that, the battery life is very poor dosent even last 8hrs, the zoom aint the best also multimedia keys jus a gimick if your looking for a good nokia that looks nice, does everything i want and has a awesome camera go for the nokia n93i the camera amazing because of the optical zoom
800 dollars for a phone, buyers must be crazy ! Have used only Nokia phones but now i have switched to Samsung for the feeling of quality and design of their phones. Try the U600 for 350 dollars : so much better than this ugly brick....
wad is orange or 02? wad is the diff buying from diff shop? isn't the same product?
can explain to me?
I Agree. Difficult to find other real cons than the battery. Could perhaps be a bit slimmer...
this phone is sleek and suave i love the look the camera is astronomical and the other features on it are brilliant slightly worried about the battery life but thats ok
Been using my n95 for a few weeks, using all the features and using the phone to make long calls. The battery lasts me the day with no worries. Sat Nav feature is fab hasnt let me down yet. As for not being good sound quality im a huge music fan this rocks the liudspeaker beats the pants off anything thats on the market.
I got this phone the first day it was launched and now im regretting. The phone shuts down itself wen connected with computer or used as a modem with computer.Restarts wen listening to music and battery drains so quick. Some times i even have to charge twice a day.1 n half hour of music playback and batt is gone.Buttons gone hard and makin noise just in two days and slider has got play in it.Not worth buyin.Crap phone
Philippines price right now is at 53,000 pesos. Pretty hefty...only a few stores even carry the N95.
I use the power saving options in my Symbian phone when using the GPS. Then I have no problems with the battery!! In that mode the dislay goes dark when the map isn't needed, e.g. on a long straight road. Then when voice navigation is needed, the dislay is enlighted automatically. I suppose N95 has something similar!!?!?
To 'n95 user also'. You shouldn't compare apples to bananas. SE W880i isn't a smartphone! For example, SE W950 is a smartphone and can be compared to N95 (although the W950 it lacks camera, GPS and other features in N95, but on the other hand has e.g. touch screen...).
For a smartphone N95 really has impressive overall features! Great camera, GPS, audio jack, FM radio, Wi-Fi, etc, etc!!
To you who complains about the MP3 player, buy someting else, an iPod, Nokia 5300/5700 or SE...
The only problem I have with this phone is getting o2 to send me the mms settings.Been trying since Friday morning ! Haven't even got the settings on their website ! The phone itself is excellent apart from the battery life. Used the GPS today in the car whilst connected via bluetooth to car handsfree kit. After 100 miles of driving the battery went from full to empty, didn't even make a call. Really need it connected to in car charger if you're going any distance.
this phone was all hype, didnt live up 2 it.
this phone will drop in price like anything.
hi im thinking about getting this phone the only thing concerning me at the moment is so some people are not happy with the battery life. Does any1 know how long it will last if i listn to music on it? Or just use it to talk. I appreciate it if any1 gets back to me thanks
i had it for 5 days, very good features, but very bad mp3 playback whether playing on speaker or playing music w/ headsets....my brother has SE W880i, and we compared the sound playing on the headsets, my n95 is not even half as good as my brother's w880i... even n95 has good camera and lot of features, but i love music more, this n95 will not please music lovers.. i will trade it!!!!
mp3 sound quality really sucks!!
To Techseow. Only thing you have to do to get the GPS operational is make sure the slide is open. Also, make sure you download the maps from www.smart2go.co.uk otherwise when you use the GPS the phone will be roaming to find the maps and you'll get charged, once downloaded the GPS is free. You must download them to PC first, don't just do it via internet on the handset
I'm quite ok with the battery life of my Nokia 3230. N95 has a better battery life, so it will not be a problem for me... ;)
Well to what I see from now this is the best phone in the planet, it has almost everything. As what that person posted "battery not that good dies fast it don't eat battery it drink battery." Well I dont know I haven't got it yet but it depends on how fast you eat and drink or maybe something is wrong with your battery.
