id rate the music capabilities on this phone at 7/10 whereas id rate the N-91, 9.5/10 , and the N-73 music edition 5/10, 3250 8/10
i got my 02 upgrade today the n95. Its such a wicked fone spent ages on it. Only to drawbacks build quality and the fact that it didnt come with a memory card. I think everybody buying the glorious n95 would at least expect a 128mb card in thier box. Btw i got the graphite/grey version which in my opinion is way better then any plum, sand or pink colour!!! Overall very pleased with the camera, screen and the speakers are bloodyyy loadddd as hell on 10% it sounded like it was on 60 compared to the n73.
so do we have to buy it ??? and how much is it? and tel me can we set a full screen wallpaper in n95 unlike n93 and n73..??
is the camera of n95 betta then n73??
dont start off a boring camera argument again i have n73 and thats enuf megapixels for me,,,its interesting that this fone seems to hav got navigation topics started as its obvious theres more devices to come,,,altho most browsers can tell you the nearest cashpoint in an town you are un familiar with this can expand that service to actually guiding you to it.,,i was the one complaining earlier about charges & it would be nice to see an all in package related to these very sophisticated smartphones so I personnelly know were i stand with charges..I am also pleased that this phone has a more acceptable battery life and good sized screen in wat is such a small unit in real life terms.
Tv out means that u can view stuff which is on ur phone on ur tv,by plugging in the supplied cable from ur phone to ur tv.the main purpose of tv out is to view videos captured on ur smartphone
Just upgraded to this phone, and i well impressed with the look, size and handling but can anyone tell me, the booklet tells you to use the sim sent with the phone, but its not working should i put in my original sim?
any help much appreciated
and by the way i think the n-91 sound quality is way better than this phone, its way louder and got superb bass.this is ok,not bad.
is anyone here experiencing the HISSING sound in their videos taken with this fone coz i am.
sony ericson cant compare nokia at all...
sony only got better pic nokia got all in one... look at SE video quality its like useless... compare that to n95 ??? ya u know da answer... there are lot of things that are betta then sony....
Mark.... You asked.."hello. does this phone have a gps chip, or use the network signal??????"
It does have a GPS chip and it also uses the network if it loses the GPS Lock. Quite clever TBH. It will also connect to a good quality bluetooth GPS reciever. I have a Blackline GPS reciever and it works instantly. Also it does not work to 30Meters like the one in the phone the Blackline unit works to 1 foot! So I plan on using it for some data logging on my trackday sessions this year.
Already available at PureMobile:
Sony Ericsson cameras are better than any nokia camera,so when sony ericsson bring out their 5 mega pixel camera phone ,the camera on the N-95 will be junk.Im strictly a Hardcore Symbian NOKIA user and i hate sony ericsson phones but lets face the facts guys ,even a Carl Zeiss camera lens wont match up with sony ericsson cameras, for everything else Nokia humps Sony Ericcson.
hi... news for those who live in Saudi arabia...
just found out n95 is 3700 SR warranty AL-haddad
hello. does this phone have a gps chip, or use the network signal??????
I have had a play with a couple of things today. The camera is good. 5Mp is a bit much for a small lens so it does have some noise. But it is acceptable.
There is a hint of colour cast in indoor photos but nothing serious.
I use photoshop so I can clean them up and they are as good as most compact camera images in my honest opinion.
GPS. I am not sure about having to pay to use it... I thought that was only for the vocal direction download for each journey. Also if it used the network for the trip instead of the GPS system. I do know GPS signals can be lost in built up areas so using the network is quite clever. I have also sync'd the phone to my Bluetooth GPS reciver which is a very accurate motorsport version and it picks up the signal almost instantly. I will be using it for a route guidance later this week so I will see if we get charged if I turn the network option off!!
So far it has been great. I have run the battery down playing with all the toys and listening to music. I had hoped the USB cable would also charge the phone but I am affraid it does not! Oh well luckily I am close to a power supply and I will not be playing with the thing too much once I have got used to it and it just becomes another phone!
to l7wv,,,, three massive cheers to you because on voda i got 20 quid contract plus 100 quid upfront for my last fone and generally pottered about on internet..BANG the first bill was 87 quid and all extras was browsing internet..They want you to enjoy the experiance of browsing, and i love it on a fone browsing the internet and generally use it for train info to news video clips...SO now its minimal browsing & an UNINTERESTING experience with all the images & sounds turned off to save data d/load cost..They can give me 5000 mins or 5000 txts i dont care i want is full mobile fone web browsing experience at broadband home prices..BT broadband have given me a general cap of 16.7 gb but if i go over they never charge me,,, if i did that on vodafone live it wud cost £39,579.00 at voda"s £2.37 a mb,,,enjoy voda live "huff" ENUF SAID!!
