seen as everyone is trying to source these phones i can confrim they will be out on vodafone uk thursday 5th april and will cost £500 sim free.
working for vodafone i have had the opertunity to test this device and dispite some speculation it is relativly fast for symbian 60 mush better than the n80. + sides it the camera is excellent as expected expecially vid quality and playback.
- sides, lots of menu's
Outstanding Phone. Nokia can Win Award Against this phone if it is TouchScreen.
at last n95 is in stores, and im gonna
by one today for 4000 dhs=1070 $ but it comes
with 1GB micro memory card instead of the 128MB.
When can I get this phone in South Africa? I saw it being sold by someone for R13000 (they can't be serious). It's shouldn't sell for more than R6000, surely, given that it's $700 in the US. Anyhow, when will it be out here? Does anyone know?
there are a few things people are not familiar with this phone:
first, it runs on a conventional switch line and MIOS(internet-protocol-based calls).
the net, being so insecure, can sometimes drop a call, especially if a mobile on WIFI-hooked calls meets a cluttered router every now and then. next, what are the chances of someone, somewhere far away, listening and recording your conversation by hijacking the data packets?
second, the selling point, GPS function, eats up battery life real fast. face the facts, do you really need to navigate around with a gadget in this easy world of street signs and prominent landmarks?
third, even with its touted fastest download speed, this model does not have built-in virus detection and firewall (unlike the SE P990i).
yeah well I think I'm gonna buy one, has anyone else got one and if son what do you think of it so far?

hey i found a review of the n95 you can go check it out http://youtube.com/watch?v=DX5eh7eLaVQ
At the end of the day I beleive that a phone like this carrys with it the obvious, it's not really a fone for mr and mrs plant pot is it? I mean come on this is a 5 megapixel symbian fone with all the gubins. I had an n91 and whilst slow and annoying it was still my fav fone along a string of disapointments with other fones!
i dont understand why some people are complaining about the price ... i mean if you want a BMW of course you have to pay for it ... similarly, with all the stuffs N95 has to offer ... be prepared to pay a premium ... btw, anyone knows what colour has been released? i understand there is a plum colour similar to N73 and another gold like colour ...
dont get your panties in a bunch, the n95 is going to be release in uk ONLY onn the 2nnd of april the rest of europe is going to have to wait untill the end of april or beginning of may
