its wicked....but wen will it be launched...i think it would have been better if it was a touch screen! thats my opinion
Sim free price has been setup @ carphone £499.95 , Just waiting for stock now! ;0)
I held the display model nokia n95 in city of westminster california.
The phone is perfect!
I can't wait til i get mine...
They told me it will take couple of more days before they will actually have this awesome phone.
I just hope that all the functions in it will be flawless, coz I owned couple of smart phones before like palm treo and black berry pearl they both sucks when it comes in receiving incoming calls, somehow treo and blackberry phones are poor when it comes to receiving calls not sure why... maybe after they built the phone with too many features in it somehow it interrupts the signal of receiving phone calls.
I just hope this phone will be flawless coz I
will be the first to buy as soon as it releases on the market.
By the way, the blackberry phone I had before was made in mexico...
Would be nice if this phone is made in finland or made by nokia coz it would really suck to find out after spending $1400 and at the back of the phone it will say made in mexico or made in thailand or made in korea or made in china or made in hongkong or made in vietnam or made in antartica! lol
Ok I will sleep now maybe I need to rest can you guys sleep with me and dream about this phone...
(Before you start i am Australian) Why is Nokia taking so long to launch this phone? Because they want to release it making sure there are no bugs in the software and the GPS works good
Why is it so expensive? this is a simply math equation
1. GPS System = $500
2. 5MP Camera = $350
3. Water GPS System = $800
4. 2gig MP3 Player = $400
5. Nokia Mobile Phone With Symbian = $700
6. 5MP Digital Video Camera = $1500
7. DVD Player = $70
8. Pocket FM Player = $25
9. Handheld games System = $199
10. Personal Organizer = $90
11. CB Radio = $50
All this equals = $4634
ILL BE HAPPY TO PAY $1499
All you have to do is think about it and it makes sense, just cause you want it now doesn't mean its going to come out now, be patient its coming and when it does you will be happy that Nokia got all the bugs out first.
wow wow, Steve J,
well said....multimedia toy...hahaha....nokia usually launched devices 3-4 mths after announcement, and it has been close to 6 months now? and still not available, or only available in some places, obviously somethg is wrong.......
let's wait for the launch, reviews, and comments of users ( who are super dumb and super rich ) to be among the first to buy, to test out and let's see if it is really a device worth paying for.
Most likely reason Telstra rejected this phone on their NextG is that there are very few phones which ARE compatible with NextG, because of the network freq of 850. Even if they wanted it, they couldn't get it to work!
I think you people have to calm down and look at the facts. How can you have a phone of such complexity without a QWERTY keyboard? It means one cannot thumb type properly and take full advantage of the 2.6 inch screen in landscape mode. Secondly, would you buy a 5MP camera that had no optical zoom? You need OZ for modern photography. This is the 21st century and we know that digital zoom is rubbish. To add insult to injury there is no Xenon flash so low-light photography will be less than stellar. Remember that this "phone" is going to cost a fortune and the N95 is a multimedia device with phone capabilities. It should therefore have the aforementioned features. You people still think of the N95 as a phone with a few bonuses when it is in fact a multimedia device. It is ridiculous to have a 5MP camera without optical zoom. It is like having food without water. It is ridiculous to have a mini-computer without a QWERTY keyboard. It is like wanting to write but not having a pen. Nokia have to decide what they are giving us. Is it a multimedia computer or a multimedia toy???
ABSOLUTLY WRONG MARKETING ATTITUDE!!!!! I don't f***ing belive it. It's been over 6 months since they announced it and it's still unavailible!!! I would love to make some kind of an understanding with all you potential buyers not to purchase this stupid phone when on the market....this way maybe NOKIA people will learn their lesson not to hold that much with a lunch!! ABSOLUTLY WRONG MARKETING ATTITUDE!!!!!
greatthe best phone i had seen in my life they must transform from phone to mini computer or smalest notbook
Telstra (Oz) does not offer this phone because Telstra does not use the globally standard (2GHz) HSDPA radio bandwidth for their Next G. I think they use 8Mhz range. This means that they need non-standard HSDPA phones to support their radio frequency. iMate builds a different version of the JazJam with a different radio transceiver to support the non-standard Telstra Next G. Which means your Telstra Next G phone will not be globally compatible with other 3G HSDPA networks.
Nothing to do with the phone's capabilities.
Pictures are just good for a mobilephone, read this:
I don't think the reason for it not to come to australia is about the network, it has the newest 3G standard, which isn't operative in australia yet.
Belgium and Japan already cover gsm digital broadband up to 5 mbps, for like 60% of the country.
Hi, I read two blogs' review:each of them has shown pics taken with n95 and , it is sad but true all of them was purplish.
Hey guys! the price for this model in denmark will be abt 3200 kr including abn. and without abn about 4700 kr.
the n95 has dual speakers so ofcourse its louder and clearer...so n95 is louder than n73
Is this model available? I've seen screen protector and even crystal casing on the streets of this model sold. Then I start to wonder. I inspected the casing and I'm pretty sure that it fits the phone. The hole for mem card, jacks, buttons etc.
