PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST THE SAME MESSAGES OVER AND OVER AGAIN
This is getting quite ludicrous to see the same pathetic messages over and over again here.
There are a certain number of FACTS concerning this phone that need to be clearly stated so that people don't waste other people's time with spam and pointless messages:
- The N95 is STILL NOT OUT. PERIOD. Anyone who claims that they have it or have a friend who has it or works for Nokia or heard from someone that it is out in any random less developed country is lying. That's a fact. THE PHONE ISN'T OUT. Prototypes do exist but they aren't the finished product so don't speak about them here.
- About the release date: the only OFFICIAL information is that it will be out in Q1 of 2007. Now Nokia has sometimes delayed their official release date but we don't know anything yet so no dodgy comments saying that the phone will come out at a certain date.
- About the price: again, the only OFFICIAL information is that it will cost 550 Euros (that's about 730 US Dollars). This might change but WE STILL DON'T KNOW. So stop posting false information about prices in your local currencies which are clearly just lies.
- Finally, all the techincal specifications can be found on GSM Arena OR on Nokia's official website. So read the information there instead of asking technical questions which no one can answer yet since no one HAS THE DAMN PHONE.
I hope this will limit the extremely poor quality posts that people write here.
GUYSS!! do not buy this fone b4 it is released formally.. its best to wait.. its not that hard trust me one site i kno for sure is a scam is http://www.elitecellphones.net/index.php..that site has been goin around changin their name and layout from a while back. they change the name of their manager and address but they dont change the picture of the building they claim they are situated.. i HATE SCAMMERS( almost bout from one but changedmy mind) and so i try my best to enlighten every1 bout dem. IM IMPLORING U. JUST WAIT and DONT get scammed...
The phones a masterpiece its jus looks so cool its a collabaration with business n style n it came out as gud as gold the features a superb, a 5mp camera GPS n thats impressive coz Nokia was always left behind coz of Sonyericsson with there featues n design, but now nokia has gotten ahead with features design n performance. this phone must b the first phone ever 2 b rated over 9/10 by GSM Arena i think this phone will cost over $1000 US but this phone its awsum!!!
Doukan dear, I was so excited when you mentioned your finding the N95 @ "Page Computers", I e-mailed them @ once and e-mailed my brother in San Fransisco since I am in Egypt and they do not ship overseas. I just got off the phone with a sales rep. from their site "Page Computers" and the girl could not find it anywhere on their site, so obviously it was an honest mistake from their behalf. I think in the future one has to get his/her hands on a unit b4 claiming it is on a certain site and also send us all a pic of him/her with the Nokia N95 in their hands...lol
Well I really got overexcited. They told me otherwise but well, it just sucks I am so easgerly waiting for this phone..I apologize from those to whom I may have caused a heart stroke:)
I work for Nokia reatil in UK, we have been told by our head office to tell customers that the N95 will be available fron early january, but in actual fact it wont be out til late Feb '07 (they just want customers to get fed up of waiting and get something else... Hmmm!)
Also, the price is advertised at 550 euros (about £380) but the N93 is currently retailing for £504.99, so N95 I think will be a lot more than the original price estimate (I recon at least £450), which is crap!
Looks awesome but, i wonder why nokia only have only one hsdpa phone on their line up, they're getting way behind on speed
the features are good..but if you'd ask me i'd really prefer if its a bar type.. slide type phones easily gets broken...since the ribbon wire connecting in between is easily damaged...specially if you drop it...it will really be hard to fix and thus after one drop it may be obsolete..i really consider the fact that a rotating camera or screen would be nice yet it's the wear and tear i'm more interested too..i hope nokia's future design would also consider durability..
just like any other viewers i was drooling over this phone...geez..on my opinion it was'nt really cancelled..but anyway i'm really hunting down to almost every shop that has this phone..and please if you really know give me a detailed information..
Doukan: I just got in touch with Page computers via their online chat support. Guess what? The phone there is really the 9500 and *not* the N95. Their IT people made a mistake and they will correcting all info there ASAP. Apparently they entered all info from N95 on the 9500 page. They do not have the N95 in stock an they don't know anything about N95 or when and if it will be available... back to the starting point... ;)
Sorry but am I the only one who's little bit puzzled by the fact that it says "installed Maps application covering over 100 countries" and then it only has 160 megabyte of internal memory???
I heard N95 in Singapore market. Bcouse of one of my friend said he brought from Singapore.. but i didnt see it.
lol it beat the digital camera recording video.... thats wot digi cams are built for? haha
I have done business with them before(i bought my n80 before official release from them and also a m600 and a camera). But all i know is, they have good customer service(you can call and reach them actually) and they have good customer reviews on other comparison sites(such as bizrate, nextag etc) I am not an advocate of the site, but every single day for the last 3 weeks ive been searching n95 all over the internet to see if a vendor actually has it and they are the first site i encountered that actually has the phone in stock. I am not in position to say they actually have the phone or not. What i am doing is like giving positive feedback on ebay and recommending the seller. Im just saying i bought three things from them before at 3 different times and it all worked out well. And i know there are thousands of people waiting for this phone like crazy, so i just wanted to let everybody know.
how is the n95 less expensive than the n80?
plus i dont really trust stores that have typos in their product description 'wiht'.
THE WAIT IS OVER! I found N95 in stock after weeks of research. and i am 100% sure it is not scam, because that website has been around for quite long time with good reputation. I also bought my previous phone from them, and i just talked to their sales department and they told me they have 20 of them in stock currently..the website is http://www.pagecomputers.com and the phone is listed as Nokia 9500 for some reason, but when i talked to them they said it is actually N95 and for some reason, they listed it as 9500. Anyways, if you don't believe the legitimacy of the website, just google them and see. And no, I am in NO WAY affiliated with them. Im just a "over-excited" N95 fan. Check it out now, thank me later!!!
