lol, hight demand at launch? name one thing that hasn't been in hight demand when it launches? seriously thingk about it... delays to this phone and the fact that nokia have change their website layout must mean something is going on with the phone? i agree with previous post that say this phone is over price, networks will tend to shy away from supporting it... due to price and the numerous issues with the nokia "n" series... wase of space realy
I talked with Mobilebee.com and the answer was:
Thank you for contacting Mobilebee.com Customer Support
You'll be able to use it in Brazil, since it's a quad-band phone (GSM 850/900/1800/1900 Mhz). This cellphone will be available in 35 days. Unfortunately we are online store only and we don't have a retail store, the address on our website is our office address.
Its still on the websites and I have check quite a few so I guess it might depend on what region your checking from.
Also clik on upcoming phones for europe below...
I can see this phone would be in high demand from lauch, people pls calm down so you dont make nokia inflate the price even more cause the higher the demand the higher price...
Fot those of you who thaught that this phone is cancelled you are wrong. Nokia said that they removed the N95 from their web page cause they added the Nokia N92, but it will not be cancelled. We will need to wait til Q2 2007.
nokia! you idiots! what the hell were you thinking putting a Li-Ion 950 mAh in this phone? you should have put a Li-Po 1100 mAh.
nokia wont be releasing this phone in usa and some parts of the globe in the 1st quarter of 2007.. unlike in asian countries, who will be the one to first experience it.. but dont lose your hopes.. it will be released in usa..
And what about this link, right from the US Nokia server: http://www.nokia.com/nseries/index.html?lang=en&country=R1#product,n95?
Now, come on, let's stop the speculation, would you?
The Nokia N95 louch may be cancelled in the US but it's not cancelled worldwide (at least, not yet). The Nokis website in Russia still displays it like the US site used to: http://www.nokia.ru/phones/models/n95/
In response to 'The Real Nokia Sales' post;
Link us to a press release. I know Nokia have a habit of giving out press releases of practcally EVERYTHING they do, so go on. Hook us up. Prove once and for all that the N95 is still upon us.
I'm finding your post very hard to believe, due to the fact that I had an actual representative from Nokia in the UK here, in my shop, telling me that the N95 has been cancelled mid-development.
So go on. Prove me wrong.
Good lord. Perhaps you should all stop monging over this phone. It' been cancelled. A nokia rep was in the store I work in today (I sell phones). Basically, there's no demand for it from the major retailers across the globe. Apparently, It's gonna be too expensive and the cost to manufacture is currently too high.
True, this was always going to be a highly specced handset, but as it turns out, It's just too expensive to manufacture just now...
What you all should do is switch off your computers and go outside. Leave your phone at home. Go with your girlfriend and have a picnic in the park. Go see a movie. I find it hard to believe that every poster in this thread is a seperate person... I mean, come on...
It's only a phone...
Nokia's N- series model, the N95 has not been cancelled or delayed.
People do you know how N95 can store up to 140 country maps for GPS ??? Where does it store them??
Yes waht happende with nokia site http://www.nokia.com/nseries/index.html?lang=en&country=US#product
they dont have N95 anymore. Anyone knows why?
I saw the dummy set for Nokia N95 today at a shop at Plaza Singapura (Singapore), at basement two! I asked the salesperson when the phone will be coming in but he said, "Not so fast. In Marcg." But it is surprising isn't it, to put a dummy set, or to even have a dummy set, three months before the actual release date? Well, but I was really excited. Nearly thought I could splurge what I have next month. Still waiting for a Sony Ericsson counterpart to this. If that is good, I might get that, since K800i has been consistently ranked higher than N73 and N93 despite all being 3.2 megapixel camera phones, and Nokia using Carl Zeiss lens. But N95 pack a whole lot of features which no phones would! Hopefully it won't hang as often as the other N series phones said to. Cheerios!
Any idea as to why Nokia has removed the N95 from their USA website? It is no longer there as of 5 minutes ago.
what are the 2 colours of the nokia n95?
is it black and silver, only silver
or is it dark maroon and silver, sand brown and silver?
let me know. which colour looks better???
I found a cheaper place to purchase the phone... its http://www.elitecellphones.net/index.php?categoryID=2 ....
