ri4, just compare the features of N70 and N95 than you will come to know that which one is smaller and lighter.
Don't know how so many people say you going to buy immediatley - maybe should hold up a bit - seems to me all the complex/smart phones have major problems when released. Nokia , SE, imate, all the brands really. P990i temporarily withdrawn from some markets, ditto other nokia phones having issues with battery life, all brands hanging up/freezing etc etc etc ad nauseum. Seems like not enough QA and too early release to market.
By the way, HSDPA means HIGH-SPEED DOWNLINK PACKET ACCESS.
you can read about it here:
Yes, it is a 3G phone. In the US, we have UMTS at 384kbps and HSDPA at up to 1.8Mbps the latter of course being the latest greatest known as 3.5G wireless.
Cingular's UMTS (3G Wireless)is decent so far with my O2 XDA Trion phone, however, I can't wait to see how good HSDPA is in US networks.
i know NQNM right because more phones will be out for xmas and after
I've heard for the price of the phone will be expensive. It's not worth buyingcoz every 6 months technology changes and there will be more excellent cellphones coming with more features and the price will be reasonable. Nokia make more monies everytime they advertised their new release products. It so expensive buying it.
omg i talked to nokia support they said this phone is going to be released on xmas with msrp 1600 usd its just too expensive!!
I wait from long time this fhone from NOKIA, but now i mast wait till they put this fhone on sale in my country.................. bye
i have had a lot of new mobiles but this has an element of top gadgetry for its size. its double slide action looks top notch.it should have dvb/h or dab... carnt wait to get it
beautiful handset with 5 MEGAPIXEL cam and WLAN technology no other competers will fight with nokia.
i am really getting the feeling that alot of people dont like this phone because they wont be able to afford it. i think this nokia is leap ahead for nokia. it will probably be one of the most powerful phones on the market as the n93 is. as for the lack of touch screen. i am happy it doesnt have one. i have had touch screen devices since the first windows ce handheld computers back in the day. nothing slows you down more than having to grab the stylus in the middle of an activity. i ditch a windows mobile phone for an ericsson p910 to have a stable yet flexible os and then switched to an n93 to not have a touch screen. i must say i will never go back to tapping the screen of a windows mobile again.
N95 is the best for the moment,
i want to buy it
but how is the official prize ?
this is an upgrade of the nokia n80. i wanted to have a phone that has wlan on it.
Does this phone have a reported software issues like so many of the new nokia's or have they managed to fix it, this phone is wicked but the software issues that nokia have would stop me buying it.
Perhaps it's the best phone in this moment.
I want it.
But what is it the S.A.R. value ???
I live in Tibet and i want know if my country is included in this "Installed Maps application covering over 100 countries".
I don't know what the Nokia people are thinking. Simply ignorant of market expectation or don't want to overkill the handphone market. I tell you Nokia, if you add on touchscreen and use MS OS instead of Symbian OS, you will surely capture the market for PDA phone with this model for a long time to come. Hope you'll consider my suggestion.
