I totally agree with you that a cellphone could have the convinience of all-in-one features. what irritates me are the people who complains about the phone features, they brag about that its not enough for them. thats why i was suggesting those stuff i mentioned. and for you info im one the people who are testing the BETA VERSION OF THE ENTIRE N SERIES...you think this phone is the best? wait till you see the rest...peace!
some of you dare to pretend that they already buy n95.how stupid lier can you be? only some nokia workers are able now to say that they have seen this beast at work.did you know n96 with 10 mp and high-definition video 1200x900 with 12x zoom???.soon will be available, and i already have it.it's truly amazing...
hopefully this phone's OS has no bugs in it like the other smartphones made by nokia in the symbian 9.1 series, because all of its feature will be useless if the phone will not work properly.
N95 is an allrounder performer with the new and advanced bulit-in navigator so marvelous. Its more like the N80 which is doing great in the market as one of the best selling phones in the world.
Wow it also has DUO SLIDE that moves up and down splendid and lovely.A perfect phone and pocket PC for the century man(me).
I look forth to own it but have to wit also for the fall of cost.
i have n80 still the best phone on the market FOR NOW gotta get me one of these babies
- 5mp digital camera 175g
- videocamera 275g
- 2G Mp3 player 125g
- Wlan apparat 265g
- GPS navigator 195g
- Psp2 gamestation 300g
N95 with all feature mentioned+much more only 120g!
Why 320x240 screen resolution only???
It has everything but as always...there is a big minus! I am a N80 owner and dont want to downgrade anything!
It looks like a great phone. Can't think of anything missing, but the touchscreen, so all in all it looks loaded with every option, just like a multimedia pc. Well I think I'm gonna wait till the fall of 2008 to get it, as it seems very pricey for the moment. Right now I am a proud owner of good old nokia 3310.
Sounds good on paper but will the software live up to the promise? If it is like Nokia's other recent phones it will be buggy and prone to unexpected failures and crashes. Battery life will be disappointing and the image quality will suffer from the optics.
I've put my hands on this beauty and the most exciting thing is that you get all those nice features in a compact form factor. The GPS software is pretty neat with support over 100 countries (though maybe only one will be included in the package)
Ergonomic wise, it's more comfortable than most Nokia sliding phones.
Image quality is what you should expect from camera phones, you can't compare it with dedicated digital camera.
My guess the price will be around 600-700 Euros.
Who is it for? A person who likes to have a mobile phone that can do virtually everything except boiling water.
nokia care has a very poor servie. they will just ask you to wait for months before they repair your phone.
finally. a dream phone. hail to nokia. i currently own the N80 and it pretty much rocks my world. the one and only better phone than the N80 will have to be the N95. i mean just LOOK at the specs. Good job Nokia.
this phone really rocks. I have N70 with me rite now. And i hav decided that my nxt phone is N95 only. Can any of u guys tell me when this phone will be released in the market? Atleast any approximate ideas???
Justin: Ok, u are right, the cellphone had been created to made calls... but I'm enemy of have a lot of heavy devices on me (a camera, a mobile, a mp3 player, a PDA, etc...), and if there is a device that offer me all that in one, belive me that I'll get that device, although the specifications can't be compared whit a real camera or a real mp3 player, for example. Arrive to the XXI century, buddy...
one thing i realize a long time ago, A CELLPHONE IS MADE FOR CALLING!
you want camera with good quality? get yourself a regular digital camera!
you want an mp3 player that could hold up a lot of songs? get yourself and ipod or something!
you want an accurate GPS? get yourself a REAL GPS!
i could go on forever. so stop whinning like a baby that this phone lacks this or that or this phone doesnt have this or that.
take my advice please.....
after watching a few videos on the demonstration of this phone, it seems to me that it works slow.. like... it takes about 4-5 seconds before it opens the applications...
will this get faster when it is actually released or will it stay on the same speed?
So far, i have used the W810 and the black berry 7130 for the past year. Looking at the N95 it has everything i want other then a full keyboard and blackberry connect. however, for nokia quality and countless features it isnt like i would be settling at all. while i may not have the blackberry push, with the hsdpa i dont really need it. i have no desire to check my work email. this phone has the mp3 capability i want with a 5mp camera and it a bit bigger then a razer. all things considered, this phone is perfect in my eyes and if any1 knows where to get 1, shoot me an email. i do give it a 10 bc it has absolutely outstanding capability with a convienient design. Samsung, SE and motorola have never shown me a phone that can dowhat this phone does and still has teh 850 band for the US. in my humble opinion N95 > all.
