jeve, 07 Nov 2009Through IMEI of yur phone you can secure that no one can use it if it lost or stolen it is req... morehere in the philippines.if u lost your fon,u can blocked it by going to NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION-Government run entity.jaz provide them ur lost phone IMEI number.after 3 days u.that phone wont be useable again but we have bunch of celfone technicians here that change even d last 2 digits of ur lost phone IMEI.WHOLA.it will acquire cellular signal again.hehehe.so blocking is useless.
kingpin, 24 Dec 2009Opera mobile 10 has the same proble with the memory.not on my n95. It works fine.
taimur ali, 22 Dec 2009hey .. i ve this fone n95 the simple one .
every time i start web it says close some applica... moreinstall every apps, games, themes that are downloaded in the memory card. installing them in the internal memory would definitely make the phone slow. also, for the pics that you have taken and stored internally on your phone..upload them to your pc. once uploaded delete all photos. keep the photos that you want to keep in the memory card. use an 8 gb or a 16 gb memory card.
another idea is download opera mobile 10 or any other browser.
hopefully, this helps.
taimur ali, 22 Dec 2009hey .. i ve this fone n95 the simple one . every time i start web it says close some applica... moredear taimur ali , about your problem, i also have n95 and i have problems with the brouser, it is shuting downn sadenly when brousing , you may also open the pages that you open on your phone on web from you PC and observ that the brouser eats a lot of RAM because of the flash content from the pages, you may try to change some settings of the brouser "settings->page->load content->images (no flash)" but i'm not shure that it'll help. I updated my software and it gave some more 10 mb of RAM but it didn't solve the proble, the only solution for me was to install some other brousers like opera , ucweb 6 , skyfire etc. They have some limits of loading content.I'm not shure thet nokia servise will help you, they just can't.
LaloMex, 22 Dec 2009The ugrade for n95, its only for the n95-1 (europe)model. WTF!!again my n95-3 has firmware 35. check for a firmware update on the nokia website for your device.
yes. it did take a while for nokia to accomodate the n95-3's firmware. it was always about the n95-1. it is about the time they did something about it.

a new firmware is available:
Just as the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show is kicking off in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nokia reminds the U.S. that it loves Europe more, by releasing yet another firmware update for the N95-1. This firmware, v31.0.017, makes the N95-3’s current v20.2.011 look positively ancient. The new N95-1 firmware should be available through NSU for all generic product codes, but remember to backup your information, since the N95 does not have UDP (User Data Preservation).
I’ve chatted with a few Nokians about my strong feelings regarding the shaft that the N95-3 NAM gets from Nokia in terms of firmware updates, and it always seems to come down to ‘business sense’. There are a massive number of N95-1 owners, and despite every blogger that I know having forked over his own $$ for the N95-3 (including myself), apparently there are simply fewer of those in the market, and thus, less reason for Nokia to use resources to develop the firmware update.
Personally, I think that’s garbage, since we paid the same price for ours that the Euro folks did, and deserve the same level of support. What do you think? Should I just give up and get a new phone that Nokia (might) fully support, or do you think I’m still justified in wanting a firmware update for my N95-3, especially since obviously the other N95s are getting updated?
I have this phone N95-3 Norteamerica/Latinamerica(firmware 20.2.011); and I don't know WHY I can't upgrade the firmware same as the N95-1 Europa (firmware 31.0.017) with Auto-Rotate and other great features. I like to ask to Nokia Company, WHY this discrimination to users of the N95-3 ??????
got this one before getting a n97. i have lived with this for over two years. surely, this one was a king of its kind. everything one would have needed and wanted are all there packed in one single-mixed plastic and metallic objects, to say the least.
I've had this phone for almost 4 years. It's been great for music and picture. I also like voice quality so much since my ear is clear.
