what can i say . . The phone its really nice from all points of view including its camera , speed , the mass memory and all the rest of the things :p . .
But im also undecided why this phone cant edit any photos. .
I mean for example , if i made a photo , i save it in the mass memory or the phone memory (dunno if this can be the problem anyway) i make the respective changes for the respective photo saving them the pic doesnt change
It remains with the same graphics ^^ . .i really dunno if one of you encountered this kind of problem but some advices wouldnt be bad xD
Best regards , ayumi
i myself am a n82 user and this is about the screen brightness. to me the screen is bright enough for myself as i do not like screen to be too bright. yes, it may be a bit dim but it is sufficient. about sunlight ledgebility it is just fine as i am living in the middle east and when i am outside at 45 celcius i can see the screen clearly. Cheers.
PS: i do own a n95 8gb but i do not use it often due to size otherwise both phones are the legendary nseries phones out there.
haha n95 8gb is much better wen compared to n82's awkward keypad which is hard to press and the dim screen whick sukkss big times as compared to the n95 8gb 2.8 screen and the dual slider and i jst love the dedicated music buttons of the n95 8gb. and of course the robust slider!!
Anonymous, 21 Jul 2009I have in same time n82 and n95 8gb for 2 mounth,I can say that n95 8gb was much better for me... moreYup! you combine them both, and they make a good couple =D
one for qwerty, one for camera and stereo speaker =D
Anonymous, 21 Jul 2009n95 8gb vs n82... hmm many ppl would go for n95 but its a bit bulky and the 8gb does work prop... moredoes work properly after you fill it up to 6gb?
yeah mine does work properly, i have 970mb of free space left now, and it works properly =D
I have in same time n82 and n95 8gb for 2 mounth,I can say that n95 8gb was much better for me,I have it now,the second phone now is nokia e71(a very good phone too)
Hi again 2 all the gsm readers listin nicely 2 me i had 2 n82 nokia 1 fell in the water and the second 1 i bouth again brand new got it for a bargain and beliefe the camera is awsame thats all ,how can you guys compare a bmw 328 series to a m3 bmw series both r bmw but big diffrence i am comparing aples to banannas but that the truth i had the n82 very good phone but please dont compare it 2 the n95 8gb the big boss whish is the king of nseries please gays make some sense the specs look the same if you compare the 2 but the cpu and the 3d hardware acel is not the same quality as the n95 8gb cpu sales peaple can fool you thats all what i got 2 say make your choice
n95 8gb vs n82... hmm many ppl would go for n95 but its a bit bulky and the 8gb does work properly after u fill up to 6gb... for n82, its a tidy looking phone which has a very powerful camera, both two phones have the same powerful processor, i personally would choice n82.
DV, 18 Jul 2009No, what the hell are u saying!!
Yes, the resolution does matter and so does the screen size.... moreExactly!
If you want a predecessor flagship device of Nokia's phone..it's the N95 8GB, there's no doubt about that, go check out Steve Litcfield's review:
and if u only want a device that's good at camera, and compact, meaning no slide or flip, just a candy bar phone, then go get N82, simple as that =P
N82 vs. N95 8GB, 18 Jul 2009N95 8GB's 2.8-inch QVGA screen is much closer to N82's 2.4-inch QVGA screen than to 5530's 2.9... moreHave u ever wonder that the screen on 5530 or 5800 or whatever is somehow..narrow? it's like the wide screen version they have on X1 Xperia..
it's not exactly equal side by side like the one on the iPhone..
why did nokia still use QVGA resolution on the N95 8GB? coz they see that it is enough, it's still beautiful to look at, simple as that =D
no camera lens? i've had my N95 8GB for almost 2 years and there's no scratch on the lens cover =S
it depends on how good u take care of your phone =)
It's basically the best phone i've ever used since back in the days of the 6600, to tell the truth i'm actually in love with the N95 8Gb,it's quite amazing dat such a piece of art work can do so many things,i named mine's Jack after the series action hero in "24" . X
I bought this phone 2 years back and then sold it, then i bought
2.N95 8gb-gifted to bro after using it.
5.samsung innov8 i8510
6.then again i bought N95 8gb
this is my 3rd N-95 and with confidence i can acclaim that this is really a KIng phone.
Believe me guys it has everything.
software compatability, quality pics, nice sound and less price as compare to the new 5mp camera phone and battery backup, what else u need.
Hope this review saves ur money from doing experiments.
One more thing i want to share with you, that this is my 50th Camera phone in the past 5 yrs.
N82 vs. N95 8GB, 18 Jul 2009N95 8GB's 2.8-inch QVGA screen is much closer to N82's 2.4-inch QVGA screen than to 5530's 2.9... moreNo, what the hell are u saying!!
Yes, the resolution does matter and so does the screen size. N95 8GB and N82 have the same resolution, but that doesn't mean that since N95 8GB has a larger screen, the quality is not good. If its like that then why even 2.4", y not go for a phone which has even smaller screen and the same resolution. I guess u haven't seen N95 8GB and N82 together. The quality on N95 8GB is far far better, and it's also brighter than N82. Also N82 has a problem of dead pixels and dust coming under the screen. There's no doubt N82 is a better camera phone.
But the missing lens cover on N95 8GB also doesn't make a huge difference. So it's as simple, N82 wins in the camera department and also it's little compact.
Personally the N95 8GB is the bomb, I've been using it for over a year and a half now,and i seem not to be getting feedup of it,it practically offers everything needed in a phone, it's really a cool piece of artwork.
N95 8GB's 2.8-inch QVGA screen is much closer to N82's 2.4-inch QVGA screen than to 5530's 2.9-inch nHD screen. What this means is it's not the physical size that counts, it's the resolution. You won't lose too much if you've got a 2.4-inch QVGA screen instead of a 2.8-inch QVGA screen. But you'll be losing a lot if your camera has neither a lens cover nor even a dual LED flash or much better, a Xenon one. =p
N82 vs. N95 8GB , 18 Jul 2009N82 is much better than N95 8GB in the long run. Nokia made N95 8GB a dual slider with larger ... morenaah, i would sacrifice a xenon flash for screen size, coz 90% of the time i look at my phone's screen, and 10% take pictures? oh and not everyone takes lot of pictures at night that need a xenon flash, without it in the afternoon the pictures quality are the same
i'd definitely go for N86 8MP than N82, lol
u get so much more from it
yes n95 8gb is overall a flagship, n82 is only flagship for its camera
just like n97 and n86, n97 is the flagship and n86 is the imaging flagship =)
N82 is much better than N95 8GB in the long run. Nokia made N95 8GB a dual slider with larger screen to make it worthy as a flagship device and to distinguish it from N82, The only thing that sets them apart is the form factor and the screen size. Other than those two, there is no other blatant difference between them except of course that N82 takes much better pictures at any lighting conditions. The question for consumers is would sacrifice the great camera that takes great pictures at all lighting conditions and even surpasses the new N86 8MP in photography in pitch darkness, just for the sake of a larger screen but same low resolution and a dual slide that is prone to wear and tear? I think it's not worth it.
There should be lens cover on n95 camera althouh it will protect the lens from scratches and it will provide the same quality which was at the time of buying
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2009i use for 2 mounth both n82 and n95 8gb,then I sell n82,in my opinion n95 8gb is much bettercool~ nice one dude, totally agree with ya =D
