I have had this phone for less than two months now, but as I thought It was too good to be true. It is a Multi Media Phone with heaps of mem and lossa apps (Viewer for photo, office readers, Music player etc). So I have now 11 games on it, with 300+ pictures, heaps of songs etc. WUT I have noticed now is that the calender does not allow any input and does not show any dates, it also keeps on dropping out to the main menu and has become unstable e.g. apps opening by themselves !!etc. It is under warranty so I will take it back but the worry is personal data is lost e.g. calendar entries, landmarks etc if they cannot fix it. So how many times do I have to keep on going back to Nokia with this problem and losing data. In that sense the Nokia is very poor in "doing" wut it was designed for. A pen and a note book would be safer with a PALM for the games and calender etc. p.s. this is my 4th Nokia all the others were OK looks like Nokia's Foray into the OS Smartphone was a Failure software wise !!! xxx

Anyone know if this has a motion detector? like the sony eriscon w910i etc.?
why does the colours on the screen look so washed out when outside? i had a sony ericsson C905 and the screen on that never did. also when i enter a word in the phones memory when texting say, why do i few days later have to input the word in again? thought once it's stored it's there
if i bought a new battery for browsing , Would it be a good decision? pls answer me
Riz, 26 May 2009Then the best option for u is the N95 8gb brothe guy has a point. it is soooo annoying to go around and have the audio jack popping out of your pocket like this
just got my n95 8gb. not bad at all though I suspected that the battery life would be longer since mine is Made in Finland and its battery is Made in Japan Further processed in Indonesia. it lasts for 3 days if u r not using it much.
Question is though, using the STUPID PC suit that came along is a disaster. tried several times to import music through this and failed. The files are sent to a new folder called Drag1 and never show up n the music player. After transfereing by this PCsuit, a mess pops up on the pc (refresh the music player list so u can view the newly imported mp3s)
How could I do that?????????????? thereinso refresh in the music player!!!!!!!!!
ANY ONE HELP PLEEEEEEEASE :(
Well i have had my N95 8GB for almost two years now and i must say it is nothing short of "PERFECT" if i must be a critic i would have liked a xenon flash.I use my phone alot calling and browsing and often have to charge once a day but with less browsing every second day so a better battery life would have been a nice to have. With a 3rd party software/applications list as long as this list of comments there is almost notthing this phone can't do.I have to renew my service provider contract soon and with that i can have a new phone, but to tell u the truth theres nothing else i am intrested in.I would reccomend this phone to anyone so if a new touchscreen fingerprint magnet is not your thing get a N95 8GB.

Hi friends. I want your help in selecting a new phone for me. I'm a nokia-symbian fan & want a similar phone. Phones under my consideration are n95 8gb, n85, n79, n82. I want big screen, great battery life, great display and graphics, great loudspeaker sound and clarity, very decent camera, great system speed, good system stability, new features, etc. If there are better phones, its welcomed. Please help friends.
Thanks in advance. . .
Anonymous, 25 May 2009Are you hitting the * key to change the word? Or just using the first word it comes up with? Thanks! You've just solved it for me, i wasn't aware that '*' sifted through possible word's, that's exactly what i was after, still not quite SE standard, but looking good now, cheer's.
