Aaron, 04 May 2009I don't know what kind of N82 you've used. But in terms of battery, I'm very much satisfied wi... morei used a new device with a new battery and so did everyone alse on the net testing it - get real man - you're obviously lying to us and to yourself. Why would you do that - beats me. But the internet would not be fool of people complaining about poor battery life of the device if it were superb:)
Aaron, 04 May 2009I don't know what kind of N82 you've used. But in terms of battery, I'm very much satisfied wi... moreAs always - every user that states differently than you do on the net is wrong:) And i have been challenging you about the SAR value of the device many times and you don't answer, which is a sign that you cannot hold anything against it. It seems that a candybar form makes a lot of excessive radiation possible. So if you're into health - N82 is a clear loser:). Not only amongst N-Series or Nokia's, but amongst the whole headset world:)
If akwardness of design and cheap plastics, hanging, small screen and the poor battery life of the device doesn't turn you off, then the excessive radiation should. But hey, we Europeans do care about those things since there isn't so many of us than Asians! Regards!
I don't know what kind of N82 you've used. But in terms of battery, I'm very much satisfied with my N82's battery. I have the new model of N82. The black one that shipped with the latest v31 firmware. You can ask the new N82 users about the battery and I'm telling you battery is never a problem on N82. Probably it's a problem on the early batch of N82. As I've said I do a lot of web browsing on my phone. So I just laugh at people who say that N82 has a poor battery life because I never experience it. What I could only recommend is common sense. Update your firmware and replace your worn out battery with a new one and you'll eventually understand what I'm talking about.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970O.K.!
Once down to the last bar, my N95 8GB lasts for the entire evening & the whole night :)
And another thing:
I've been using it as a GPS, and having it offline, it lasted for 12 hours.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i have not been only holding ut but using it. And all that i wrote is true. If u have to get accustomed to the keypad then something is wrong with the design. The battery on my unit lasted a day barely with only calls and sms and that's the experience of users all over the net (either you have a special model or you're just kidding yourself)
"I find myself not able to get through a full day if I'm going to be using stereo bluetooth for more than 1.5 hours and normal use of the rest of the phone's features."
This is just one of many testimonials:)
And what about the incredible SAR value. It's really dangerously high - you don't comment on that. It seems you don't care for radiation as long as you have your beloved headset. You like fact - here they are:)
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970uuuuu....going from Nokia to windows mobile, man you're gonna regret it:) i've been there. But if you're gonna stick there, check out spb's products (especially mobile shell 3.0) - could come in handy even though hd has Touchflo3d.. Regards:)
You probably haven't got hold of N82 in the actual. Ugly design? Only in pictures! The black N82 looks minimalist and classy at the same time. Awful keypad? Well, I'm the living testament that N82's keypad is easy and cool to use. I've been typing all my posts here using N82. Very minimal problems to almost non-existent. All you need is a day or 2 of getting accustomed to it and it will be as easy as ABC typing on it afterwards. Awful battery? 6 hours of continuous heavy browsing non-stop. Once down to only 1 bar, it still lasts up to an hour and more until it gets totally empty.
aaron, 04 May 2009Buy an N82. It is the same as N95 8Gb only cheaper. And you'll still have enough money to buy ... moreN82 really really sucks from designer point of view (awful keypad and button placements) and from other vantage points (awful battery) and it's also called "little chernobil" in our country because it has twice the Sar value of N958gb. N868mp will still be just a polished N958gb. If you would liek to buy a new phone each year go for N82, N85, N86....but if yo want the flagship now go for N958gb or wait for N97. That's about it:)
n's, 03 May 2009n95 8gb and n82 didnt hang and lagging..also n85...its up to u..if u want xenon phone go to n8... morewell innov seemed ok to me,it has slow motions vedio option and optical trackpad thats why i liked innov but if n86 have that slow motion vedio option i will surly wait for it.do u think n86 will cost more than innov?
Buy an N82. It is the same as N95 8Gb only cheaper. And you'll still have enough money to buy a 16GB memory card. Otherwise, wait for N86 8MP. It's the ultimate S60v3 phone. You don't want to get miserably stuck with only 8GB, bulky and outdated design phone don't you?
im not here to fight against a spammer
i like this phone and i recomnd it more than anyphne as no phone is perfect and n phone will be as the mobile phone makers,we,human arenot even prefect(so how come our handmade things be 100%haha)this oldie monster has enoguh things to keep the newbies struggling for the crown which n95 8gb holds yeah!!!!!!!!
The N95 8GB is perhaps the best all-round mobile phone ever made. A truly excellent device and still highly competitive 2 years after it's release. What other mobile phone can claim that? None.
I would have counted the larger screen as an advantage of N95 8GB over N86. But it's still in QVGA and it's a TFT. The OLED screen on N86 is more worth noting. It goes here that quantity (0.2-inch larger) is not always better than quality (OLED screen).
We're yet to see what will be the result of the 3rd gen dual LED flash. It could be brighter than a Xenon flash. But what do you think would be its toll? A blue, or white, or green, or yellow tinted pictures perhaps...
aaron, 03 May 2009N86 is a new phone. It should be better than N82 since it would be such a big shame if N82 wou... moreIm sorry to say but your just nitpicking on the whole N-Series now.
Feature Pack 2 S60
Dual LED(on N86)
Whats the point in bringing those things up?
Each phone has its pros and cons , so just go along with it...
People don't go for gimmicks like Xenon Flash, Feature Pack 2, Dual LED and what not blah blah blah...
So please stop being so comical about it:)
Mehedi, 03 May 2009dose n85,n82 and n95-8gb has same speed?i just want to know which is better and which one of t... moren95 8gb and n82 didnt hang and lagging..also n85...its up to u..if u want xenon phone go to n82..if u wanna all rounder phone go to n95 8gb and n85..fyi smsg innov doesn't support nsu.which mean u cant update ur phone software..n95 have nice built and good slider mechanism.
aaron, 03 May 2009N86 is a new phone. It should be better than N82 since it would be such a big shame if N82 wou... morehaha i like ur answer but its n82 down to 1 cuz nokia has said that 3rd gen dual leds will replace xenons and keeping in mind most countries have banned xenon phones
while n95 8gb has a larger screen also haha so
n95 8gb(2 points)vs n82(1 point)against n86
and the line u said that n86 is newer phone than n82 the answer is that n95 8gb was released before n82 and n82 just came to give a candy bar version of the n95/8gb and a flash....i tell u that everyone who has a n82 will not be using camera 24/7 with xenon on cu they know that they are not keeping a spare battery in their pockets
