First lets deal with "WiFi Connection problems"
Scroll down to highlight the new access point and choose 'Edit' from the 'Options' menu. Now choose 'Advanced settings' from the 'Options' menu.
Assuming you network used IPv4, which most do in my experience, select 'IPv4 settings'. I don't know about IPv6, and don't use a proxy so these are not covered.
The values you enter in 'IPv4 settings', depend upon your network/router settings, and whether you have a DHCP server or not.
Assume your a router IP Address, on the LAN side, is 192.168.0.1, and that it has a DHCP server set to serve addresses in the range 192.168.0.64 to 192.168.0.192, using subnet 255,255,255,0. Since the mobile does not seem able to get an IP Address from the DHCP server we give it a static address 192.168.0.55. Notice this is outside the range sereved by te DHCP server to avoid conflicts.
We end up with:
'Phone IP address = '192.168.0.55'
'Subnet mask' = '255,255,255,0'
'Default gateway' = '192.168.0.1'
'DNS address' = 'user defined'
'Primary DNS address' = '192.168.0.1'
'Secondary DNS address' = '0.0.0.0'
I used something similar and was at last able to browse the web via wifi.
'Show WLAN availability' = 'Yes'
'Scan for networks' = 'Every 5 minutes'
Some users have suggested choosing 'Advanced Settings' from the 'Options' menu, changing 'Automatic configuration' to 'Disabled'
Personally i dont understand why they call these phones 'fat' or 'chunky' etc..i have medium hands and love holding mine. In fact i just love the handset full stop.

Anonymous, 30 Sep 2008this phone is so fragile. looks like it will break anytime. The N95-8gb is a tank when compared to a cheap N78. The N78 would break more easily than this. N95-8gb is a well built machine.

When sending emails thru yahoo from my phone how can I have a copy of the sent email stored either to the phone or to my yahoo address??
the best phone in the world is N95 8GB !!! Nokia is the first brand !! never second place!
That says more about you than the phone. If you would give a 2 year old Donald duck magazine he would think it is hard to understand it. If you know how to use your phone you will see that GPS is free. It is only the guidence with voice that cost anything.
the worst phone you will ever buy. the worst gps ever and f------ guess what . you ll have to pay for using the gps .i bought for the gps Jesus Christ, what a rip off. oh yea and all you smart guys who are just going to say "i ll install a software on it " be my guess, you will struggle.
