Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970just wait for the release date of n79 and n85. they are much better than n82 and n95 8gb!
just had a look and mines made in finland, theres a sticker in the battery compartment thats states it.
I just spotted this new Nokia 95 2GB in Thailand, nearly same price as N82....
It is not a mistake because in Thailande the price of N95 8gb is much more expensive (22000 bahts instead of this one 17600 bahts). And the phone is said "new" model.
Anonymous, 24 Sep 2008us version phone are made in koreakoreans are better than finnish. they are more technologically advanced just like their cousins, the japanese.
for every n95, 3 out of 4 are made in china, only 1 out of 4 is made in finland. the reason is: nokia has their largest headquarters based in china. if there will be no made in china nokia phones, then there will be no large volume of sales from nokia, they will lose profits!
The Generic Version is made in China. The real one is made in Finland.
I've had the N95 since March and its awesome. No problems with anything...... as with allt he new nokia's people sometimes moan about the battery life but i'm not complaining as it simply does everything to such a reliable and simple way.
Easily the best phone i've ever had, so much so i will probably upgrade next year to a brand new one.
Samsung has used this phone as inspiration for their innov8
( i8150 ). The reviews are implying that the Samsung is the successor to the N95 8GB.
Yet, I have noticed that all the phone companies have shyed away from high res non-touch screens. The Samsung sticks with the same old QVGA res, which is below par for a 2.8 inch screen. You would expect this size of screen to come with VGA res. Could it be that manufacturers are lacking confidence in their batteries and processors?
More and more I am leaning towards WM for the thrill of the vivid VGA experience. My gripe with WM is that it is an unstable OS. One has to keep on tweaking the registry to attain optimal performance. Conversely Symbian works straight out of the box!
I hope that Nokia et al will seriously consider VGA res on their 2.8inch screen ( or larger ) multimedia devices in the near future.
i just saw a fake n95 8gig phone it looks so real 6ft away. but in closer inspection its almost the same with the real thing. cant belive they do things. the camera is just vga and the memory is only 512 but can be expanded to 4gig thats what the sale rep told me and it has a lifetime service warranty no parts just service. i saw more than 5 fake nokia phones that looks like the real thing but is fake. n95 8gig the real thing is sold here for 26,000 but the fake n95 8gig is only 6,500
Anonymous, 23 Sep 2008no. n85 does not have the good camera of n82. although same 5mp, n85 has smaller camera lens t... moreil give the precise difference in focal between both N82 and N85
N82 - 5.60
N85 - 5.40.1
20 mm difference, but the quality will still be there thanks to the carl zeiss lense
