yes keep telling urself all ur phones is better..it depends on how you use your cellphones..maybe ur bro was dum on using it and got it broke lol..
SE W960 is definitely the better choice compared to n95 8gig. N95 8gig is just so thick and expensive. Why pay more and bulk your pocket when you get the substance (wifi, media player, 8gig mem) of n95 on w960, plus you'll get a touch screen. Camera performance is at par even 960 has only 3.2mp. Navigation, its not that helpful, its only for fun.
my phone is month old it functions well the only prob is the slider mechanism should be much more sturdy and solid instead of being flimsy for such a xpensive phone and the phone processor becomes slow and lazy as the memory gets filled up otherwise the camera is beautiful and does wonders on this phone
First, cell phones are for making phones calls and that must come first and tri band phones can't be used all over the world while quad band phones can!
yes i have a w960 and my brother an n95 and he also thinks that my phone is a better option.it feels really good in hands while the n95's slider is not working well also my phone is much more fun while my brother thinks that after some months his phone is so boring and it also looks so BULKY!!
wow what a good phone. only good though. bulky brick like. dont like the slder each way thats annoying. features its ace. but have a spare battery as you will need it. bit of satnav a quick game. what a video.oh flat battery, not good. other that good phone. just to thick.
yes you are right aditya the n95 costruction is poor the slide is wobley and the phone is very bulky and thick while all the rivals for this phone have very good pannel quality and they look sleeker and much more radical
the sony ericsson w960i can be a much better choice coz the only thing the w960i cant beat over the n95 is i the 3.2mpx camera and gps fetures while the se w960i compensates it with features like touch screen, twin led fash, hand writing recognition, buisness card scanner etc etc. Overall its got a faster processor ,the built quality of the phone is amazeing and it does not at all hang like the n95 8gb as usual.
i just purchased mine today the phone is great and the chrome of the keypad does not peel away like the old n95 but the keypad built of the is very cheap, the battery is upgraded to the old n95 but still needs a lot more of improvement does not last long still and the processor is very slow and highly prone to hanging when the memory is used up more than 3gb.the phone functions great only up to 2gb.
What's the use of built-in 8 GB when you put 200 mp3 files and few videos, this phone hangs and eats out the battery fast. The same thing with Nokia N81 8 GB.
Mp3 player doesn't show the album name. SOmetimes cannot read ID3 tags. Doesn't show album art in some occasions.
the rest of the converter is OK just the currency converter i hate.
I love the phone, only thing is the converter on it is terrible, does anyone know where i can get a decent easy to use version, sort of like the one on the nokia 6300?
to dani original.
I agree that n95 does kind of integrate a lot of things into 1 device but my problem is its not superior in any feature.
gps is not the best of its kind
camera isnt the best - omg stabilityand flash is bad
battery life isnt the best still
video capture isnt the best
OS still slow even after the upgrade.
the sliding mechanism is unreliable
document viewer and editor isnt the best too
the good bits like 8gb memory, large and quality display size were there to compensate for its lack of superiority but that wouldnt do for me.
N95 is like:
" jack of all trades - a master of none "
