Hi, vaish. Send back ur piece and ask for replacement. N95 8GB has good built quality. My other 2 colleages has it same as me. We never have handset heat up problem. So them the problem on the spot. Nokia usually resist to replace new board unless u argue with them. Hope u enjoy urs like we do.
i just want to know how many hours do you have to initially charge the battery for the n95 8gb? tnx...
Don't worry about the slide, I also have the N95 8GB since November and it hasn't loosened :)
hey i'm thinking of buying Nokia N95 8GB or wait for a bit for Samsung G810. Both have almost similar specs. I read through lots of reviews for N95 8GB, seem like a almost a perfect phone. My bro got a N95-1 but I dont really like it coz it looks too plasticty.. and how about this one? does it look very plasticty like n95-1?
finkin bout gettin dis fone in a few weeks, vodafone told me its quality...is it?...
vaish your phone is faulty it should not over heat that bad and even when you are using the sat nav the battery last more than 2 hours i surgest taking back to were ever you bought it and asking for a new one mate
This phone sucks man. this nothing in front of my company's phones(microsoft). the battery is so crap, stupid Nokia. i hate it. i threw it in the dustbin, the day i got it. Nokia makes me gros!!!!!!!!!!!!
i bought a nokia n95 8gb just 3 days ago. the phone remains really hot at all times, when charging and even when not. is this common?
can anyone pl let me know? also i have to keep charging the battery every 2 hours even if i use the phone only to make and receive calls.
in my 5 m0nths of use of n95 8gb. I never experience of a virus. Symbian i think is a virus free OS. And for the slider i had a n95-1 and c0mpare the slider to the n95 8gb i think the slider is m0re c0mpact and s0lid c0mpare to the n95-1. My slider is stil g0od as new. Unles u accidentaly dr0pd it hard. Anyways, i dr0pd my ph0ne many times fr0m a 4 feet and les. And its stil g0od as new. Except for the scratch on my h0using. Anyways its just a h0using.
masters of n95 8gb, got to ask you this.... im planning to buy this phone but worried about the slide. does it loosen up? and do i have to install it with an anti-virus? thanks guys!!!
it's the dream of every symbian freak...it really has everything (ecept the dvb-h reciever)...but the new external reciever wich nokia released a few weeks ago is going to do the trick...all in all...the short battery life is a common thing among symbian phones so i can say that i'm pretty lucky if my phone doesn't pass out after 4 hours of use...in my opinion a backup battery would be a good idea...
Superb battery life compared to N95, smoother browsing, it delivers an amazing sound quality, big screen but beware its damn fragile. A friend of mine just dropped his 2 days ago and all his photos, music; videos got corrupted and he had to return it for repairs. Just to be on the safe side, back up your stuffs regularly.
I have a one quick question. if u do a master reset, will it remove the flash memory too fro m the other drive, cuz it shudnt be.
