Why is it so when both are having 5 megapix?
No doubt bith are comfortable enough but ccamera result has disturbed rather 8 gb
should have been more improved.
Mate, pre-installed ringtones are stored in Flash ROM drive Z. While downloaded ringtones should be residing somewhere in drive E (RAM) mass storage. If I'm not mistaken it's located in
To be able to access & handle such files (ringtones) you're going to need a 3rd party application File Manager suck as Y-Browser http://www.drjukka.com/YBrowser.html .
Upon getting into the file, use Option\File\Attribute then select "HIDDEN"
Good Luck mate!
Prepare a php 20,000 budget for N95-1. Again go for with 12-month warranty.
Pls beware of refurbished or reconditioned unit!
Mate, I think I got it this time. I was able to get my DivX player into work by deleting Spider 3 Trailer.avi file from my mass memory!
I think this player has an auto search and loading features that browse every AVI files stored in our memory!
I think I will stick around with RealPlayer with mp4 format!
helo, st_jorge! I just gave my n95 8gig to my cousin on his b-day and planned to buy a new one but due a lack of money, i had to buy a n82, and the sound is not as good as in n95 and screen is very small! Keypad is fine enough and the dpad is quite shaky but rathar comfortable! I think xenon flash is awsome and is necesary at many shots! Yet i regret buying this fone as the n95 8gb screen is way too good and memory card doesnt matter to me! And i also wanted to ask that whether n82 also has the same firmware upgrade as the n95! The version 15. I hope this info is useful, and i didnt bore u guys! Cheerz 4 nokia!

I have my Nokia N95-2 8GB for 2 weeks now. I live in the U.S. and work as a consultant. I must say that I totally enjoy the phone. I used to have a Blackberry and a Dash. After the BB thought I would never get any device with the same capability (e-mail purpose), especially after using the Dash. Its e-mail feature is so poor. Blackberry as a phone is so weak, especially when you're driving (yes, I did use Jawbone. Still.)
With N95, Mail for Exchange (download separately fr Nokia site) will make you feel like Exchange on steroid :) I have Outlook open on the laptop and emails always come to my N95 first. (I know you could change the settings on Outlook (perhaps) but with the Dash, this isn't an option, I have to synchronize my e-mail just to check mail).
The camera picture's quality is great but the color tone (I haven't messed with any settings) is somewhat greenish.
The video player is excellent. What else could you do while sitting on the airplane and watching Bourne Ultimatum (mind you, i own the hd-dvd) with mp4 quality? Priceless :)
I've used the GPS feature a few times. I wish the voice navigation comes with the phone (instead of paying for it). The search near-by feature (restaurant, hotel, etc.) is not as good as the app I used (forgot the name) on the BB (the BB will give me more results near-by).
Taking picture and uploading it to a web site is a nice feature to have. I also try to send IM friends a video clip I took from the phone, no problem there.
I have not experienced any issue with the phone so far. So, for those of you who have problems, not sure if you made it up or you just got a bad phone.
I'm so glad I did not get the iPhone. Somehow I just feel that phone is for kids. I do not need to show off how I could zoom the picture with my 2 fingers :) I just need a good phone (BB voice quality is really bad btw) for a consultant and a family man.
Wow! I'm really so intrigue with this DivX player. Buddy, can you pls send the installer at my email add st_jorge999 at yahoo dot com. Million thanks!
By the way, I have couple of DVD movies stored in my mobile phone 768 MB e.g. The Incredibles - superb video & quality courtesy of SlySoft! hahaha
st_jorge i have heard various people saying that . they had problems with the divx player . but i just installed it and was well amazed by the quality . plays the movies better than my philips divx player . they are brilliant quality ..each file was 695mb or 700mb i got 10 movies onto my phone ..
OK, your Blackberry curve is the KING but our Nokia N95-2 is the ACE!...got it?
Sir, have you tried reading your manual?
If you're trying to play AVI files then you're going to need to install an apllication like DivX, SmartMovie, MobileDVD.
Our RealPlayer can only play 3gp & mp4 files!
Set your budget to 30 thou! Greenhills is the place to shop in! Always insist for the 12-month warranty! Good luck!
