The Nokia N95 8GB uses internal flash memory not micro hard disk drives like the N91.
Does it have a micro drive/hard drive (HDD), or does it have flash memory?
I've heard the N95 8GB has a real HDD.
i would like to know only that whether n95 carries any gps map or not? coz i really travel from one city to another, and i need gps. so is there any fetures in 95 8gb some thing like gps mape route/?
Here is a comparison between the N95 8GB and N82:
two speakers! ok. it's cool for listen stereo sound. BUT! what's happen when watching videos clips in the landscape mode? do you feel the streo in that case? i ask that bcause the two speakers are perpandicular to ours eards in landscape mode. correct me if i'm wrong!
YES YES YES. ALL IS YES (avalable). what a phone! nice phone but the designe'd be better. yes. it remind me the 6600.
i did a search to see if i get any answer for next question but didn't come up with any. Is google map "data transfer" application meaning my network provider going to charge me every mb i've downloaded maps from google? I remember i read somewhere it does but can't find that site anymore so I'm just making sure. Don't wanna pay 3000$ like that iphone user when she got her bill.
To St_jorge, I really need some advice on what
phone to get for a long term use, taking into
consideration all the features and battery life it has
to offer me!!! The phones are: Nokia N95 8GB, Sony
Ericsson W960i and Sony Ericsson K850i.
I would like a good all rounder phone which is not
limited in anyway which will last me, because after
getting this phone I don't think I will be buying one
for a long time to come!!!
It should have a good camera quality, music and so
on!!! Although, I don't think I would be really using
the gsp functions very much on the N95 8GB but you
never know, it might come in handy sometime in the
Please, Please and only please give me your best
advice possible because I believe you are an expert in
this area to enable me to get the best phone out of
them for me to buy. Thanks a lot in advance!!! I am
waiting very urgently for your reply!!!
I got the N95 8gb and I love it.....i will patiently wait with you...i have the v.11 firmware as of now...!!!!
N95-2 is selling like a hot cake today and this why the price goes high! as for N82 the price goes down due to over-stock in their shelves! LOL!
PEACE N82 users :-)
Mate, looks like the new firmware 15.0.015 is the right one! I haven't read, heard or seen any NEGATIVE feedbacks about it!
In my honest opinion (IMHO), I will have my firmware bring up-to-date if only available for my unit!
Reason for not having this bring up-to-date firmware FAQ # 35 http://europe.nokia.com/A4577229#faq35 .
No problem here in sending multiple SMS!...no sign of slowing down! Could be in your signal or problem with your Network provider!
Thanks buddy! You sounds like a very patient guy! Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of patience like yours! LOL!
I don't believe in flipping coins but in faith...I trust NOKIA N95-2 more than ever!
"Leave behind the past, live & enjoy what you have today for there will be no more tomorrow to enjoy".
It's your call buddy. Cheers!
hi, i went to greenhills this aftern0on i askd s0me seller of the ph0nes of any brand which is the best ph0ne f0r their opini0n. They all answerd me that the n95 8gb is by far the best if u can af0rd it. I was also sh0ckd that the price of n82 easily depreciate fr0m 25k g0ing d0wn to 23k. And for the n95 8gb fr0m 30+k at 1st it was launch then 29k+ the last tym i saw it b4 this aftern0on. N t0day the price went up again to 30+.
george what u have to say about new firmware after reading various feedback on this issue. one should upgrade the firmware if its avilable to them or not??
hello, do you habe any problemes concerning sms, when you send lots of sms, blocking of touch, or letters, or slowness?
I think it's time for me to flip a coin and let faith decide on which phone i should get, either the N82 or N95-8gb....for those sharing my dillema, it's obvious that we should waite for a Nokia phone that has the screen size and brightness of the N95-8gb and the xenon flash with camera cover of the N82...Up to this time, I have no more use on reading each others thread, believe me I already read all of what the other has to say on this site. (don't believe me?)Well I know for a fact that St_gorge, Junkyskunky, father vince provided the most helpfull review, advice regarding the phones. I had to follow on what they had to say co'z I too am Filipino.
Anyway, until I see such a phone from Nokia....I'll keep my fingers crossed!
Special tnx to those mentioned above, though it did not make me decide which unit to get, it made me know which phone I should be looking forward to from nokia!.
So for all those flipping coins and still deciding, I think we should be more patient and waite on what nokia has yet to offer, besides this year just started!
Cheers to all Nokia users!
Mate what do you mean you can't use your YM,GPRS & inet? What's your Network Service Provider? Probably, your Access points are not configured correctly!
Have you tried using Setting Wizard?...Menu/Tools/Utilities >>> Sett. wizard
