I have known this for a while but needed to check it first so here goes.........
You have used your fone till the battery just dies so you plug in the charger and charge till full,,next you switch it on but if there is not mini vibrate when you switch back on its not fully charged !!!
Next remove battery and put it back in then plug in charger with fone still off and charge till it says ""battery full""...
Now switch on your fone and it should do the mini vibrate and thats the fone fully charged and working ok....
Now if you charge your fone before it fully discharges or you just switch it off with some battery left on it there should be no need to do the above..
So in short if you switch on your fone and do not get the mini vibration then remove battery and try again if you so wish its not compulsory..I found this out last year with my n80 but found it in all my symbian series 60 third edition devices but have had to do tests to see if i was right and my results are below,,,,,,,,,,
Using simple calculations as averages you get about 4% more battery overall,,not much perhaps but over 5 hours thats an extra 20 minutes????
But to clear up this finding it is NOT compulsory to do the above battery removal actions it is just some thing i come across as you do...

I still preferred N95-2 over N95-3:
1. Black color
2. Bigger screen
3. D-pad navigation keys are much appealing.
Though, I preferred external memory card over internal mass memory due to high-speed data/files transfer.
Again, this is only my opinion!
Buddy, here's the download site for Lightsaber application http://www.symbian-freeware.com/get-lightsaber-for-nokia-n95.html . May The Force Of Jedi Be With You! hahaha
what would you recommend the n 95 8gb or the n 95-3 before I get one.. thanks ...
@ st jorge
thanks man, that link you gave me made my decision. T-Mobile doesn't have 3g support in the US yet so i'm going with n95-2.
To All NOKIA MATES,
All request for SINGED NOKMOTE will no longer be processed in order to respect MR. Samir Oueldi (NOKMOTE developer) and all Donators.
Sorry for this unhappy message! I guess everybody must wait til Nokmote be available for the public in two to three weeks time! For the menatime, let's enjoy what we have! Cheers!
Mate, YES I'm still coping up with a lot request of Signed RotateMe...my email was flooded everyday with request!hahaha! huhuhu! By the way, F-Secure AV also comes with Firewall. Advanced Device Lock is worth every penny! Thanks buddy!
N95-3 (3G US version)
Mate, N95-3 is the much improved version of N95-1 except for the camera lens cover which has been removed similar to N95-2.
N95-3 and N95-2 are almost identical in every features from processor to battery. The only signnificant difference is the size of display screen...N95-3 got 2.6" while N95-2 got 2.8"
Mate, this site I found might give you a better picture and idea how these 3 models of N95 differentiate http://www.mobiletechreview.com/phones/Nokia-N95-3.htm . Good luck in your choice!
f secure is for protection for viruses... etc...
advance lock is different... by the way.... in a way....
how are you? still coping up with those requests... haha... anyway if you re happy.. and you are helping real n95 8gb users...
f secure is really nice.. i wanted to have this advance lock permanently... but its my last day yesterday.... haha...
Thanks mate! Much that I would like to help everyone but I'm being limited with some unforeseen events like downed server, computer bugs, limited access, etc. Rest aasured for my continuous support with N95-2!
@b r y nn,
Mate, I also have this F-Secure in my mobilephone for almost a month now which about to expire on January 1, 2008! Though it's good for 1 month only, I found this program very useful with added Firewall feature!....now I'm secured! LOL
thanks for the quick reply. Is 3g going to be the only main thing different here? I have T-Mobile. If they going to charge me fee for cancelling, would you advice just to keep it cause US version and current available version won't be that much different. Or it's probably gonna be best to pay for the fee and wait?
The Nokia n95 8gb is coming out in february, and since u live in the us i would wait for it because its going to have 3g support from at&t so if u have any questions let me know.
sorry my post below should have read
good luck,as if you would need it with this fine specimen.
it sounded like i was knocking the fone but im not its fantastic
uhh...so what's the difference between the US version that coming out and the version right now (assuming it's finland). I placed an order for this phone at cellswholesale.com, i'm assuming it's not US. So i'm a bit confused now! Should I cancel my order and wait till the US version to come out cause i'm in US or it doesn't really matter? anyone help? st jorge? thanks!
Anyone using f-secure as their anti-virus/firewall please note there was an update waiting for download for me today 28th december 2007.
Does not say wat for but i suppose someone will find out..Its a 277KB download after which it then asks if you wish to rescan your device..I did and all ok ...
good luck as you need it with this fine specimen
