Really, IT'S great.
I want to give thanks to Nokia to make this type of mobile
Hello, i have my nokia N95 8GB, newest firmware 35,01,001.. EURO3. I have all the best, i have Sygic Navigation, Call cheater etc, superb phone, and one +, it doesnt have touchpad !! the best phone for you.
Wifi incredible, toy for mobile family.
dedde, 25 Jan 2011i love my Nokia N95 8GB i've had it for 1 year now
And upto so far its been a good phone for ... moreyou have right about 1 thing. Video light..and is a big minus. And phone torch too.
About the other things, geo tagging, face detection, xvid player, edit .doc, DNSE Audio, AMOLED, ..etc...do we talk about N8? or a good HTC, or Satio? is n95 8gb from 2008! i prefer to have quality features, not medium with a lot of options(like omnia II-, medium photos with a lot of options, emulating 5.1 sound...etc.) and a GOOD PRICE. What price should had the n95 in 2008 with all features that you mention? 1000 eu?. Look at the price of N8...
There are 3rd part application for make it a mini PC and more. (chat - msn, Y!, skype, gtalk,FB- with sending files, voice-video call/ avi player without convertion- 700mb movies with subtitle, thanks to GPU/game console-full accelerometer- N-Gage 2 and augument games with rock'n scroll, thanks to GPU-/ better GPS -like tom tom, garmin-)/ the audio quality is brilliant, better than omnia II with 5.1 emulation or some nokia ME-XM, 360' photos capable at 5mp x 12 shots and auto focus -not fixed focus-/youtube full compatible / office editor/ universal Irda remote control/TV online -spb tv-/..a lot, a lot of 3rd part app. but still needs more developers.
I personally don't like n900 for one reason: the OS. It have strong, brilliant features BUT it have Maemo 5 OS and there are not so many developers on this OS.

My phone does not rotate screen, why?
i love my Nokia N95 8GB i've had it for 1 year now
And upto so far its been a good phone for me up until today and i understand this make was the 1st nokia multimedia/pocket PC&3G phone with such a remarkable features
But as i've been using this unit i've realized somethings that Nokia didn't consider when building this phone
With 2.8" LCD this phone was suppose to have AMOLED with crystal colors
Accelerometer sensor for Auto-rotate
I dont even remember one day that i've seen my phone auto-rotating
So why they writting things that doesnt even exist?
*i don't mind the fact that its 5Megapixel but then they were suppose to equip it with
Geo-tagging,face,smile&blink detection,Image stabilization and even video light was missing
 fm radio
Fm radio was supposed to have RDS as well
*i know it has a good realplayer
But its so boring that it was said to be movie player phone and when i bought it i've just notice that it doesnt have video player,Avi,(Divx/XviD) Player and Dnse(Digital Natural Sound Engine)
Being called a pocket pc
I find it very hard to understand why they gave it such a name coz its built-in office suits&document viewer there are just there for nothing coz
Document viewer just view only
*U cant Create new docs
*u cant even Edit any docs
*Adobe flash player is 1.5
With such a name as Pocket PC nokia was suppose to equip this phone with atleast
Adobe flash player 4.0
I know it was the second Nokia phone with such a GPS but i really think they were suppose to equip this unit with
Maps 3.0 with traffic report
I think should rebuild this phone and eqiup it with a descent features
Anyway u guys tells what u think about this phone
Its a good phone but i am thinking of buying the Nokia N900 around march though i am not familiar with Qwety keyboard&touchscreen phones
good phone very good..the only matter of it, is the battery life for music..not satisfied for it..expected a lot from it but the music battery life put me down..planning 2 switch iphone but not throwing away maybe my n95 8gb
i updated to v31.0.15. after that it hang while go to vedio center, and using animation icon.how can i recover it?. please help me.
orochiwa, 24 Jan 2011planning to buy this set though its too late, my question is...since 8gb & no external mem... moreyou DON'T NEED more mass memory to a smart phone. In my opinion 8GB is enough. I have droopy's cartoons, 3 movies(700mb each), 450 photos, applications, More memory needs the HDMI compatible phones. The disadvantage is that you need the cable all the time when you want to copy something on the mass memory (vs. Micro SD phones ...SD adapter and Lap-Top)
planning to buy this set though its too late, my question is...since 8gb & no external memory was it freezes/hangs frequently when the memory has fully maximized? i was just read all the comments and none of it was commented on this matter.
thanks for helping me out the answer.
This phone is just one heck of a phone that's gonna remain in my heart forever. But I do have a question dough, does anybody know how to Overclock it.I MEAN HOW TO OVERCLOCK NOKIA N95 8 gb.Please just don't refere me to that page with the edited text document in the Folder Persists.
Thanks alot in advance
guys can anyone tell me whats the current market price of this handest in india
Had it for a year. very reliable phone. Finds me work via GPS, entertain in trains, buses. works with most wifi gadgets, used as a universal remote
Camera is good and gets the job done. Mind you it can put some of the 8MP cameras to shame like.....Xperia...LMAO. Not even the Iphone 3GS has a video conferencing feature, ON A 3G phone.
I think this is the best communication centered phone with no touchscreen
I just bought the Nexus S after using the N95 for close to 3 years. I love the N95. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped it on the streets and it still works the same as the day I bought it. No doubt its one of the most solidly built phones I have ever come across. After upgrading, I still value it so much I refused to sell it. Comparing it with my Nexus S is hard but I can honestly say: aside from Andriod being superior to Symbian, the browsing interface is the only real upgrade. Although I've always had internet on my N95, i seldom used it because it was a bitch to navigate and get the right screen size and stuff. If you are not willing to spend the money on a top tier phone, go with this. Its a smart buy.
