i Guess a 1200MaH Li-ion battery will still not be sufficient for a phone that has 2.8" 16M colors display, and 330Mhz CPU. since SE P1 which even have 1100MaH Li-polymer and a lower 2.6 256K colors display and 200Mhz CPU lasts only a night after heavy usage. i'm afraid that even with the 100Mah addition to it's capacity the high system specs would rather kill the promise of better battery life from this phone imo. ;) it should have 1500mah :)
Just want to inform you that RotateMe v. 2.0 BETA 3 is now available. Some changes...pls see mssg below from the author/maker
- Fixed some non-working keys bug
- Implementation of the N95's API sensor (instead of 5500)
(don't forget to install N95AccelerometerPlugin.sis)
- Auto-rotation working also when the phone is slanted (and not only upright
- Auto-rotation at 90° (and no more 45°) like N82.
- Auto-rotation stopped when keypad is locked
- No more unwanted rotation when the phone is shaked
Some have reported a very strange and random bug: Sometimes USB connection
stop working, even if rotateMe is closed. You have to uninstall it to fix
This bug is reported on N95 8gb and in the new N95 firmware.
RotateMe is not the only one to cause this, fexplorer seems to do it also.
So I set rotateMe priority to normal by default but, in this beta, you can
change the priority in order to see if some bugs come from here.
But I'm sure that is a bug in the firmware causing a rotateMe
Coming in next beta (and I hope the last):
- Enable / disable auto start
- Enable / disable auto-rotation with a hotkey
- Setting to set the delay of the desactivation of autorotation
- A new user interface
- Writing the help context
PS: Sorry for my english, I tried to do my best.
N95 8GB comes with pre-installed Nokia Maps supporting 100 major countries!
Yes, N95 8GB comes with screen protector but don't depend too much on it! If I may suggest, use the INVISIBLE SHIELD. See this site http://www.shieldzone.com/form/index.html
I read every day all about Nokia N95 8gb. There are a lot of people who speak without sayin' anything, and others who really know a lot of things. I'am thinking to buy this phone, but I haven't made my mind yet. I have a question: has this phone a screen protector when you are buying it, just like N70?
Do you still remember your first Nokia mobilephone? Here is the site that you may find so interesting! Funny thing how Nokia started their manufacturing http://www.newlaunches.com/entry_images/1107/12/nokia_timeline.php

Ahem...First of all I wud like to thank GSM ARENA for being such a wonderful website, and for its patience in bearing witness to all those good and bad gadgets that came out of the market....well we al have to see whats on the other side of the rainbow.....
as for Nokia N95 8GB...i know there isnt a perfect technology....All are mad made attempts on satisfying man's curiosity but ALAS!!! none are satisfied.... still i can get annoyed but yes i dont believe that there is a technology that can power up a cellphone without changing it in its entire lifetime....talk about a Battery with the Nuclear ENERGY on it! lol....
Now Performance wise, N95 has a lot of cool features...but yeah the downside is battery life....
Get an EXTRA Battery or bring along your TINY charger more often, at least Nokia has made Tinier chargers......and thats one good thing....
Well we just have to live with it I guess, But technoly is yes Improving, I just hope someday Well see each other again here and say, Im Glad, I did learn something new from you.....
